Abstract

This technology provides advantages for joining a first object to a second object with high precision. [Solution] A joining device for joining a first object to a second object, comprising: a stage including a relay section for holding the first object and a holding section for holding the second object; a head for holding the first object; a drive section for driving at least one of the stage and the head to join the first object and the second object; a first camera for imaging objects on the stage; and a control section that performs alignment of the first object held by the head and the second object held by the holding section based on the results of imaging the first object held by the relay section and the second object held by the holding section with the first camera.
