The system according to this embodiment aims to quickly and accurately estimate the cause of malfunctions in home appliances and heavy machinery. [Solution] The system according to this embodiment comprises a reception unit, an analysis unit, an estimation unit, and a provision unit. The reception unit receives input of a malfunction case from the user. The analysis unit analyzes the malfunction case received by the reception unit. The estimation unit estimates the cause of the malfunction based on the information analyzed by the analysis unit. The provision unit provides the cause of the malfunction estimated by the estimation unit.
