Abstract

In a drive device in which a drive means is positioned between an internal frame supporting a driven means and an external wall, the distance between the internal frame and the external wall is reduced compared to a case where the drive means is positioned between the part of the internal frame closest to the external wall and the external wall. [Solution] The device comprises an outer wall, a driven means, a frame disposed within a drive device and supporting the driven means, the frame having a first portion and a second portion located further from the outer wall than the first portion, and a driving means disposed between the second portion of the frame and the outer wall, with at least a portion of it being further from the outer wall than the distance between the first portion and the outer wall.
