Abstract

To improve user convenience when purchasing products, such as through bulk purchase discounts. [Solution] The product registration device includes a product registration means and a display means. The product registration means registers the products that the customer intends to purchase. The display means displays a product registration screen that includes a details field displaying the name and unit price of the products registered by the product registration means, a total points field displaying the total number of registered products, and a total amount field displaying the total price of the registered products. Furthermore, if a registered product has a condition set that it be registered together with other products, whether identical or different, for a discount or purchase, and the condition is not met, the display means does not add the price of the product to the total amount. If no condition is set for the registered product, the display means adds the unit price of the product to the total amount and displays it in the total amount field.
