Abstract
To provide a liquid consumption device that can suppress the occurrence of incorrect cap installation. [Solution] The ink tank set 51 has keyways 74M1 and 74M2 in the through-hole 72M into which the annular wall 122 of the magenta ink chamber 111 is inserted, and keyways 74CY1 and 74CY2 in the through-hole 72CY into which the annular wall 122 of the cyan ink chamber 111 is inserted, which have different shapes. The engaging parts 125M1 and 125M2 provided on the tank cap 127M for magenta engage with the keyways 74M1 and 74M2 provided on the through-hole 72M for magenta, but do not engage with the keyways 74CY1 and 74CY2 provided on the through-hole 72CY for cyan. This prevents the occurrence of installation errors where the tank cap 127 of one color is attached to the through-hole 72 of another color.
