踏段から移動体が降り口の乗降板に降車するときに、確実に踏段の移動を停止させることができる乗客コンベアシステムを提供する。【解決手段】通常運転モードにおいて、乗り口の上階センサ42が利用者を検出して踏段14を運転し、点検モードにおいて、降り口の下階センサ44が移動体100を検出したときに、踏段14の移動を停止させ、移動体100は、踏段14の停止後に移動モータ108を用いて踏段14から降り口の乗降板18に移動する。
