Abstract

To provide a gate device that uses aerial displays to safely and accurately present information to specific individuals when multiple people pass through simultaneously. [Solution] The gate device 100 includes a passage section 10 that allows multiple people to pass through simultaneously, a reading section 51 that reads information about the person, a position detection section 52 that detects the position of the person, a determination section 53 that makes a decision on whether to allow passage based on the reading result from the reading section 51, and an aerial display section 30 that has a display area AA provided according to the passage range in the passage section 10, and displays the determination result from the determination section 53 in the air in a partial area PA of the display area AA that corresponds to the position information from the position detection section 52.
