In this evaluation, each composition in the Examples, etc., was used as the test sample, and physiological saline was used as the reference sample. The human patch test method described in Reference 1 below was followed (a certain amount of the test sample, which had been left at 37°C for more than 2 hours until the change in mass over time was almost imperceptible, was applied to the upper arm (for the reference sample, it was applied to the upper arm without drying before application), the application time was 24 hours, occlusion, and the number of subjects was 10). The skin reaction of each subject 1-2 hours after patch removal and 24 hours later was scored using the index shown in Table 1. Claims

7. The oil-in-water emulsion composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the component (C) is a volatile acyclic silicone, and the amount of the volatile acyclic silicone is 5.0% by mass or more and 35% by mass or less.

8. The amount of component (A) is 0.1% by mass or more and 5.0% by mass or less. The amount of component (B) is 1.0% by mass or more and 7.0% by mass or less. The amount of component (C) is 5.0% by mass or more and 35% by mass or less. The amount of component (D) is 0.5% by mass or more and 6.0% by mass or less. An oil-in-water emulsion composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3.

9. An oil-in-water emulsion composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, used as a leave-in hair treatment.
