Abstract

To compensate for the effects of dead time in a power converter composed of multiple bridge circuits. [Solution] The power conversion device according to this disclosure comprises a power conversion circuit and a control device. The power conversion circuit has a plurality of bridge circuits. The control device controls the transmitted power by the power conversion circuit by adjusting a first phase difference and a second phase difference. The first phase difference is the amount of phase shift between the bridge circuits in the plurality of bridge circuits. The second phase difference is the amount of phase shift between a pair of switching legs included in the bridge circuits in the plurality of bridge circuits. The control device compensates for the error between the power command value and the transmitted power by compensating for the first phase difference and the second phase difference with a compensation amount based on whether zero voltage switching is possible for each of the plurality of switching legs of the plurality of bridge circuits.
