Abstract

To provide a resin composition, a vehicle exterior material, and a method for manufacturing a vehicle exterior material that can achieve a low specific gravity and have high rigidity. [Solution] The resin composition comprises a mixture of a base resin, an elastomer, and a filler. Based on the total amount of the mixture, the base resin content is 55% to 80% by mass, the elastomer content is 5% to 25% by mass, and the filler content is 5% to 30% by mass. The base resin comprises polypropylene, which is the main component, and high-density polyethylene.
