[0019] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 6 to 8, the side frame portion 36 of the louver frame 32 is formed by bending a metal plate. The side frame portion 36 has a side reflective surface 43 and a fitting frame portion 39 provided at the lower end of the side reflective surface 43. The side reflective surface 43 has a lower side reflective surface 43a positioned on the opening 20 side and an upper side reflective surface 43b bent from the upper end of the lower side reflective surface 43a. Multiple connecting pieces 43c are provided protruding from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the lower side reflective surface 43a for connecting to the end frame portion 37.

[0020] As shown in Figure 3, the lower side reflective surface 43a is inclined at a predetermined angle (e.g., 20°) with respect to the vertical (up and down direction) such that its upper end slopes downward toward the center of the short side of the louver 14, and the upper side reflective surface 43b is inclined at a predetermined angle (e.g., 70°) such that it slopes downward toward the upper end of the lower side reflective surface 43a, with the angle of inclination of the upper side reflective surface 43b being larger than that of the lower side reflective surface 43a. The side reflective surfaces 43 (lower side reflective surface 43a and upper side reflective surface 43b) are formed in a planar (flat) shape. When the louver frame 32 and the louver body 33 are assembled, the upper end of the lower side reflective surface 43a and the upper side reflective surface 43b are positioned above the louver body 33 and face the upper surface of the louver body 33.

[0021] As shown in Figures 6 to 8, the fitting frame portion 39 has a lower portion 44 that protrudes horizontally outward from the lower end of the side reflective surface 43, and a rising portion 45 that rises up from the outer end of the lower portion 44.

[0022] The side reflective surface 43 (the lower side reflective surface 43a) is provided with an upper mounting hole 46 and a lower mounting hole 47 for attaching the end of the blade 41.

[0023] The upper mounting hole 46 has a pair of inclined portions 49 that widen upward with the lower end as the apex 48, a pair of fitting grooves 50 that widen further upward from above the pair of inclined portions 49, an upper hook portion 51 that is stepped upward between the inclined portions 49 and the fitting grooves 50, and a guide portion 52 that protrudes downward between the upper ends of the pair of fitting grooves 50. The guide portion 52 is formed in a roughly triangular shape with the center of the lower end as the apex, and both sides are inclined upward toward the upper end of the fitting grooves 50. The space between the pair of inclined portions 49 of the upper mounting hole 46 is provided in the shape of an inverted triangular hole (insertion hole) with the lower end as the apex 48.

[0024] The lower mounting hole 47 is located at a distance from the upper mounting hole 46, on the downward extension line from the top 48 of the inclined portion 49 of the upper mounting hole 46. The lower mounting hole 47 is a long slit in the vertical direction, and is formed in a roughly trapezoidal shape with its upper and lower ends facing each other horizontally and parallel, and both sides inclined to widen upward. The upper end of the lower mounting hole 47 is configured as the lower hook portion 53, and the lower end is configured as the locked portion 54.

[0025] As shown in Figure 5, the end frame portion 37 of the louver frame 32 is formed by bending a metal plate. The end frame portion 37 has an end reflective surface 55 and a fitting frame portion 39 provided at the lower end of the end reflective surface 55. The end reflective surface 55 has a lower end reflective surface 55a positioned on the opening 20 side and an upper end reflective surface 55b bent from the upper end of the lower end reflective surface 55a. The end reflective surface 55 (the lower end reflective surface 55a and the upper end reflective surface 55b) is provided in a planar (flat) shape. The fitting frame portion 39 of the end frame portion 37 is configured in the same way as the fitting frame portion 39 of the side frame portion 36.

[0026] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 9, the central frame 40 of the louver body 33 is formed by bending a metal plate. The height dimension of the central frame 40 is the same as the height dimension of the blades 41, and when the central frame 40 and the blades 41 are assembled, the height positions of the upper and lower surfaces are at approximately the same height.

[0027] The central frame 40 has a pair of central frame sections (central frame plate sections) 57 that are bent into a roughly V-shape in cross-section with the lower end as the apex. The central frame sections 57 are provided in a planar (flat plate) shape, and their outer surfaces are formed as reflective surfaces.

[0028] In the central frame portion 57, a central fitting groove 58 is formed, extending from the midpoint in the vertical direction of the central frame portion 57 to the upper end, at the assembly position with each blade 41. The central fitting groove 58 opens at the upper end of the central frame portion 57 and is formed in a roughly isosceles trapezoidal shape, with the opening width at the lower end being smaller than the opening width at the upper end. The central fitting groove 58 has a base portion 59 and a pair of inclined side portions 60 that incline upward from both ends of the base portion 59, and is formed in a shape that allows it to be fitted to the upper side of the blade 41 (the upper side of the blade fitting groove 64 of the blade portion 63).

[0029] At both ends of the central frame section 57 in the longitudinal direction, mounting pieces 61 are provided at two locations, upper and lower, for attachment to the end frame section 37.

[0030] The blades 41 of the louver body 33 are formed by bending a metal plate. The blades 41 have a pair of blade sections (blade plates) 63 that are bent into a roughly V-shape in cross-section with the lower end as the apex. The blade sections 63 are provided in a curved or flat (flat plate) shape with a recessed outer surface, and the outer surface is formed as a reflective surface.

[0031] The blade portion 63 has a blade fitting groove 64 formed at the assembly position with the multiple central frames 40, extending from the midpoint in the vertical direction of the blade portion 63 to its lower end. The blade fitting groove 64 opens at the lower end of the blade portion 63 and is formed in a roughly isosceles triangular shape, with the lower end as the apex and the opening width widening upwards. The blade fitting groove 64 has a pair of inclined edges 65 that incline to widen upwards from the lower end, and a projection 66 that protrudes downwards from between the upper ends of the pair of inclined edges 65, and is formed in a shape that can be fitted to the lower side of the central fitting groove 58 of the central frame 40.

[0032] The blade portion 63 has an upper hook portion 67 protruding from the end face of the blade portion 63, a fitting portion 68 protruding from above the upper hook portion 67 on the end face of the blade portion 63, a lower hook portion 69 protruding from below the upper hook portion 67 on the end face of the blade portion 63, and a locking portion 70 protruding from below the lower hook portion 69 on the end face of the blade portion 63.

[0033] The upper hook portion 67 is provided in a hook shape that protrudes from the end face of the wing portion 63 and has its tip protruding downward, and an upper hook groove 71 that opens downward is formed between the tip and the end face of the wing portion 63.

[0034] The fitting portion 68 is provided extending from the upper hook portion 67 to the upper end of the wing portion 63. The fitting portion 68 protrudes beyond the end face position of the wing portion 63 at a position below the upper hook portion 67, and the amount of protrusion from the end face of the wing portion 63 at a position below the upper hook portion 67 is smaller than that of the upper hook portion 67. The fitting portion 68 may also be provided at a position separated above the upper hook portion 67.

[0035] The lower hook portion 69 is provided in a hook shape that protrudes from the end face of the wing portion 63 and has its tip protruding upward, and a lower hook groove 72 that opens upward is formed between the tip and the end face of the wing portion 63.

[0036] The locking portion 70 is provided with an upper side as an arc-shaped or inclined introduction surface, and the lower side as a locking surface 73 that is substantially perpendicular to the end face of the blade portion 63.

[0037] Next, we will explain how to assemble the central frame 40 and the blades 41 of the louver body 33.

[0038] The lower end of the blade 41 is inserted into the central fitting groove 58 of the pair of central frame sections 57 of the central frame 40. The upper ends of the pair of central frame sections 57 are pinched to narrow the distance between them against elasticity, and the lower ends of the central fitting grooves 58 of the pair of central frame sections 57 are inserted into the lower end openings of the blade fitting grooves 64 of the pair of blade sections 63 of the blade 41.

[0039] By inserting the lower ends of the central fitting grooves 58 of the pair of central frame parts 57 into the wing fitting grooves 64 of the pair of wing parts 63 while loosening the tabs on the upper ends of the pair of central frame parts 57, the protruding portions 66 of the wing fitting grooves 64 of the pair of wing parts 63 are inserted between the pair of central frame parts 57, and the assembly is completed so that the upper ends of the wing fitting grooves 64 on both sides of the protruding portion 66 and the bottom edge 59 of the central fitting groove 58 come into contact.

[0040] By releasing the tabs on the upper ends of the pair of central frame sections 57, the pair of central frame sections 57 expand elastically, and the wing fitting grooves 64 of the pair of wing sections 63 engage with the lower outer surfaces of the central fitting grooves 58 of the pair of central frame sections 57. Furthermore, the elasticity of the pair of wing sections 63 causes the upper outer surfaces of the wing fitting grooves 64 to engage with the central fitting grooves 58 of the central frame 40.

[0041] In this way, multiple central frames 40 and multiple blades 41 are assembled in an intersecting manner to form a lattice-shaped louver body 33.

[0042] Next, we will explain how to assemble the side frame portion 36 of the louver frame 32 and the blades 41.

[0043] As shown in Figure 6, the upper ends of the pair of blade portions 63 of the blade 41 are grasped, and the distance between the pair of blade portions 63 is narrowed against elasticity, while the end faces of the blade 41 are brought closer to the upper mounting holes 46 and 47 of the side frame portion 36, and the blade 41 is moved in the assembly direction a from the lower end to the upper end of the side frame portion 36.

[0044] As shown in Figure 7, by moving the blade 41 toward the upper mounting hole 46 and lower mounting hole 47 of the side frame 36 in the assembly direction a, the upper hook portion 67 of the pair of blade portions 63 is inserted between the pair of inclined portions 49 from the top portion 48 side of the upper mounting hole 46 of the side frame 36, and the lower hook portion 69 of the pair of blade portions 63 is inserted into the lower mounting hole 47 of the side frame 36. Furthermore, the fitting portion 68 of the pair of blade portions 63 is inserted below the guide portion 52 between the pair of fitting groove portions 50 of the upper mounting hole 46, and the upper side of the end faces of the pair of blade portions 63 are brought into contact with the side frame 36.

[0045] As the blade 41 is moved in the assembly direction a, the knobs on the upper ends of the pair of blade sections 63 are loosened, causing the pair of blade sections 63 to spread apart elastically. As shown in Figure 8, the pair of fitting sections 68 are guided by the guide section 52 of the upper mounting hole 46 and fit into the pair of fitting grooves 50 of the upper mounting hole 46. At the same time, the upper hooking section 51 enters the upper hooking groove 71 of the upper hooking section 67, and the upper hooking section 67 catches on the outer surface of the upper hooking section 51. The upper hooking section 67 catches on the upper hooking section 51, locking the pair of fitting sections 68 in place so that they remain fitted into the pair of fitting grooves 50, preventing them from moving in the direction opposite to the assembly direction a.

[0046] The locking portions 70 of the pair of blade sections 63 are inserted into the lower mounting holes 47, and the lower end faces of the blades 41 are brought into contact with the side frame section 36. The lower hooking portion 51 on the upper side of the lower mounting hole 47 enters the lower hooking groove 72 of the lower hooking portion 69, the lower hooking portion 69 catches on the outer surface of the lower hooking portion 53, and the locking surface 73 of the locking portion 70 engages with the locked portion 54 on the lower side of the lower mounting hole 47. The engagement of the locking portion 70 with the locked portion 54 locks the lower hooking portion 69 in a state of being hooked on the lower hooking portion 53, preventing movement in the direction opposite to the assembly direction a.

[0047] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, the hook fittings 34 for the louver 14 are arranged at two locations along the longitudinal direction of the fitting frame portion 39 of one side frame portion 36. As shown in Figure 3, the hook fittings 34 have hook-shaped ends that protrude from the side of the fitting frame portion 39 and can be detachably hooked into hook holes 22 provided in one side plate portion 18 of the fixture body 11. The hook fittings 34 can only be attached to and detached from the hook holes 22 when the louver 14 is in a vertical position with one side frame portion 36 facing upwards and the other side frame portion 36 facing downwards, and will not come off the hook holes 22 when the louver 14 is in a horizontal position attached to the fixture body 11.

[0048] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, the attachment / detachment mechanism 35 for the louvers 14 is provided at two locations along the longitudinal direction of the fitting frame portion 39 of the other side frame portion 36. As shown in Figure 3, the attachment / detachment mechanism 35 has a rotating operating shaft 76 positioned facing the lower surface of the fitting frame portion 39, and a locking lever 77 integrally provided on this rotating operating shaft 76. By rotating the rotating operating shaft 76, the locking lever 77, which rotates integrally with it, moves forward and backward from the side of the fitting frame portion 39 and is detachably hooked into a hooking hole 22 provided on the other side plate portion 18 of the fixture body 11.

[0049] In the lighting device 10, when the light source 13 is turned on, the light emitted downward from the light source 13 passes between the louver frame 32, the multiple central frames 40, and the multiple blades 41 of the louver 14 and illuminates the room below. The multiple central frames 40 set the shading angle in the short direction of the lighting device 10 to 30° to 35° to suppress the generation of glare, and the multiple blades 41 set the shading angle in the long direction of the lighting device 10 to 30° to 35° to suppress the generation of glare.

[0050] Furthermore, each pair of blades 63 of the blade 41 has an upper hook portion 67 protruding from the end face of the blade portion 63, and a fitting portion 68 above the upper hook portion 67 that protrudes from the end face of the blade portion 63 more than the lower side of the upper hook portion 67, and the side frame portion 36 has an upper mounting hole 46 through which the upper hook portion 67 and the fitting portion 68 are inserted and attached, and the upper mounting hole 46 has an inclined portion 49 that widens upward with its lower end as the top portion 48, and a fitting groove portion 50 above the inclined portion 49 into which the fitting portion 68 is fitted, and the inclined portion Because the structure has an upper hooking portion 51 between the 49 and the fitting groove portion 50, which the upper hooking portion 67 catches on when the fitting portion 68 is fitted into the fitting groove portion 50, the blades 41 can be attached to the side frame portion 36 simply by moving the blade 41 in the assembly direction a from bottom to top relative to the side frame portion 36 while the pair of blade portions 63 are narrowed against elasticity, inserting the upper hooking portion 67 and the fitting portion 68 into the upper mounting hole 46, and releasing the narrowing of the pair of blade portions 63, thereby improving the workability of assembly. Moreover, the fitting portion 68 of the pair of blade portions 63 fits into the fitting groove portion 50 of the upper mounting hole 46, which holds the pair of blade portions 63 and maintains the shape of the blade 41.

[0051] Each pair of blades 63 has a lower hook portion 69 that protrudes from below the upper hook portion 67 on the end face of each blade 63, and the side frame portion 36 has a lower mounting hole 47 on the downward extension line from the top 48 of the inclined portion 49 of the upper mounting hole 46, into which the lower hook portion 69 catches when the fitting portion 68 is fitted into the fitting groove portion 50. Thus, the assembled state of the blades 41 and the side frame portion 36 can be reliably maintained.

[0052] The blade portion 63 has a structure in which a locking portion 70 protrudes from below the lower hook portion 69 on the end face of the blade portion 63 and locks onto the lower edge of the lower mounting hole 47 when the lower hook portion 69 is hooked onto the lower mounting hole 47, thereby preventing the lower hook portion 69 from coming off the side frame portion 36.

[0053] In this way, the ends of the blades 41 are securely attached to the side frame portion 36 of the louver frame 32.

[0054] In the louver 14 of this embodiment, the central frame 40 and the blades 41 are each attached to the louver frame 32 at both ends. However, the length of the blades 41 in the longitudinal direction (the direction connecting both ends) is shorter than the length of the central frame 40 in the longitudinal direction. The louver frame 32 makes it easier to maintain a constant shape for the blades 41, the dimensions and shape of the blade fitting grooves 64 are kept constant, and both ends of the blades 41 are securely attached to the side frame portions 36 of the louver frame 32. As a result, the central frame 40 into which the blade fitting grooves 64 are fitted is also maintained in a predetermined shape, and the shape of the louver 14 can be maintained.

[0055] Therefore, a pair of central frame sections 57 of the central frame 40 are provided with a roughly trapezoidal central fitting groove 58 that opens at the upper end of the central frame section 57 and has a smaller opening width at the lower end than at the upper end. A pair of wing sections 63 of the wing 41 are provided with a roughly triangular wing fitting groove 64 that opens at the lower end of the wing section 63 and has an opening width that widens upwards with the lower end as the apex. By combining the central fitting groove 58 of the central frame 40 and the wing fitting groove 64 of the wing 41, the wing 41 is attached to the central frame 40 in a crisscross manner, with the wing fitting groove 64 fitting into the lower side of the central fitting groove 58 of the central frame 40 and the upper side of the wing fitting groove 58 fitting into the central fitting groove 58 of the central frame 40. This structure allows the louver 14 to maintain its shape in the assembled state.

[0056] Furthermore, the side frame portion 36 of the louver frame 32 has multiple planar side reflective surfaces 43a, 43b with different inclination angles with respect to the vertical direction, which makes manufacturing and dimensional control easier compared to curved reflective surfaces, and by using multiple planar side reflective surfaces 43a, 43b, the same light distribution characteristics as curved reflective surfaces can be ensured.

[0057] Next, Figures 10 to 15 show the lighting device 10 of the second embodiment. Note that components similar to those in the lighting device 10 of the first embodiment are referred to by the same reference numerals and their descriptions are omitted.

[0058] The lighting device 10 of the second embodiment has a taller fixture body 11 and larger dimensions in the longitudinal and width directions compared to the lighting device 10 of the first embodiment.

[0059] As shown in Figure 12, the side reflective surface 43 provided on the side frame portion 36 of the louver frame 32 is a plurality of planar side reflective surfaces with different inclination angles with respect to the vertical direction, and has a lower side reflective surface 43a positioned on the opening 20 side and an upper side reflective surface 43b bent from the upper end of the lower side reflective surface 43a. Multiple connecting pieces 43c (see Figure 14) are provided protruding from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the lower side reflective surface 43a for connecting to the end frame portion 37.

[0060] The lower side reflective surface 43a is provided inclined at a predetermined angle (e.g., 20°) with respect to the vertical (up and down direction) such that its upper end slopes downward toward the center of the shorter side of the louver 14, and the upper side reflective surface 43b is provided inclined at a predetermined angle of inclination (e.g., 40°) such that it slopes downward toward the upper end of the lower side reflective surface 43a, with the angle of inclination of the upper side reflective surface 43b being larger than that of the lower side reflective surface 43a. The side reflective surfaces 43 (lower side reflective surface 43a and upper side reflective surface 43b) are formed in a planar (flat) shape.

[0061] Furthermore, the central frame 40 of the louver body 33 is formed by bending a metal plate. The height dimension of the central frame 40 is approximately the same as the height dimension of the blades 41, and when the central frame 40 and the blades 41 are assembled, the height positions of the upper and lower surfaces are approximately the same. The central frame 40 and the blades 41 of the louver body 33 are the same as the height dimension of the louver frame 32, and when the louver frame 32 and the louver body 33 are assembled, the height positions of the upper and lower surfaces are approximately the same.

[0062] As shown in Figures 12 and 15, the central frame 40 has a pair of central frame sections (central frame plate sections) 57 that are bent into a substantially V-shape in cross-section with the lower end as the apex. The outer surfaces of the pair of central frame sections 57 are provided with a pair of lower reflective surfaces 57a that are inclined to expand outwards from the lower end upwards, and a pair of upper reflective surfaces 57b that are inclined to move toward each other from the upper end of the lower reflective surfaces 57a upwards. There is a gap between the upper ends of the pair of upper reflective surfaces 57b for bending formation, but the opening dimension between the upper ends of the pair of upper reflective surfaces 57b is smaller than the opening dimension between the upper ends of the pair of lower reflective surfaces 57a, and the opening dimension between the virtual upper ends when the pair of lower reflective surfaces 57a are extended upwards to the height of the upper ends of the upper reflective surfaces 57b. The upper reflective surface 57b of the central frame 40 has a smaller inclination angle with respect to the vertical than the inclination angle with respect to the vertical of the side reflective surfaces 43 of the louver frame 32 (the lower side is a sloped surface 43a and the upper side reflective surface 43b). The lower reflective surface 57a of the central frame portion 57 is provided in a curved or flat shape with a recessed outer surface, while the upper reflective surface 57b is provided in a flat shape.

[0063] In the central frame portion 57, a central fitting groove 58 is formed, extending from the midpoint in the vertical direction of the central frame portion 57 to the upper end, at the assembly position with each blade 41.

[0064] The louver body 33's blades 41 are formed by bending a metal plate. The blades 41 have a pair of blade sections (blade plates) 63 that are bent into a roughly V-shape in cross-section with the lower end as the apex. The blade sections 63 are provided with a curved or flat (flat plate) shape with a recessed outer surface, and the outer surface is formed as a reflective surface. The upper ends of the pair of blade sections 63 are bent roughly horizontally so as to face each other, in order to prevent injury to fingers during assembly and to improve the rigidity of the upper end of the blades 41.

[0065] The blade portion 63 has a blade fitting groove 64 formed at the assembly position with the multiple central frames 40, extending from the midpoint in the vertical direction of the blade portion 63 to its lower end.

[0066] The blade portion 63 has an upper hook portion 67 protruding from the end face of the blade portion 63, a lower hook portion 69 protruding from below the upper hook portion 67 on the end face of the blade portion 63, and a locking portion 70 protruding from below the lower hook portion 69 on the end face of the blade portion 63. The upper hook portion 67 is hooked into the upper mounting hole 46 of the side frame portion 36, the lower hook portion 69 is hooked into the lower mounting hole 47 of the side frame portion 36, and the locking portion 70 is inserted into the lower mounting hole 47 of the side frame portion 36 to lock the upper hook portion 67 and the lower hook portion 69 in a hooked state.

[0067] Next, we will explain how to assemble the central frame 40 and the blades 41 of the louver body 33.

[0068] The lower end of the blade 41 is inserted into the central fitting groove 58 of the pair of central frame sections 57 of the central frame 40.

[0069] By inserting the lower ends of the central fitting grooves 58 of the pair of central frame parts 57 into the wing fitting grooves 64 of the pair of wing parts 63 while loosening the tabs on the upper ends of the pair of central frame parts 57, the protruding portions 66 of the wing fitting grooves 64 of the pair of wing parts 63 are inserted between the pair of central frame parts 57, and the assembly is completed so that the upper ends of the wing fitting grooves 64 on both sides of the protruding portion 66 and the bottom edge 59 of the central fitting groove 58 come into contact.

[0070] By releasing the tabs on the upper ends of the pair of central frame sections 57, the pair of central frame sections 57 expand elastically, and the wing fitting grooves 64 of the pair of wing sections 63 engage with the lower outer surfaces of the central fitting grooves 58 of the pair of central frame sections 57. Furthermore, the elasticity of the pair of wing sections 63 causes the upper outer surfaces of the wing fitting grooves 64 to engage with the central fitting grooves 58 of the central frame 40.

[0071] In this way, multiple central frames 40 and multiple blades 41 are assembled in an intersecting manner to form a lattice-shaped louver body 33.

[0072] The central frame 40 is configured such that a pair of central frame sections 57 each have an upper reflective surface 57b. This reduces the distance between the upper ends of the pair of central frame sections 57, thereby reducing the amount of light from the light source 13 that enters the central frame 40 from between the upper ends of the pair of central frame sections 57. This light is then reflected downwards and used for illumination, improving the light extraction efficiency.

[0073] Furthermore, the same effects and advantages as those of the first embodiment can be obtained in the louver 14 of the second embodiment configured in this way.

[0074] Since the central fitting groove 58 provided in the central frame 40 is substantially trapezoidal, even if the central frame 40 is provided with a lower reflective surface 57a and an upper reflective surface 57b, the dimensions and shape of the central fitting groove 58 can be maintained, and the shape of the louver 14 can be maintained.

[0075] Furthermore, the structure of the lower reflective surface 57a and the upper reflective surface 57b of the central frame 40 may be applied to the pair of blade portions 63 of the blade 41, or it may be applied to both the central frame 40 and the blade 41.

[0076] While several embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments are presented as examples only and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These novel embodiments can be carried out in a variety of other forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and their variations are included in the scope and spirit of the invention, as well as in the claims of the invention and its equivalents. [Explanation of Symbols]
