[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2003-082714 [Summary of the Invention] [Problem to be Solved by the Invention]

[0004] A plurality of flowing water pipes may be required, such as a reheating pipe for a bathtub, but the pipe for water and hot water supply of Patent Document 1 is provided with only one flowing water pipe.

[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a suitable pipe for water and hot water supply that suppresses freezing of a plurality of flowing water pipes. [Means for Solving the Problem]

[0006] To achieve the above objective, the invention of claim 1 is a water supply and hot water supply piping comprising: a first water pipe and a second water pipe for circulating hot and cold water; a heater guide pipe for inserting and arranging a heater inside it; a binding tape wrapped around the outer circumference of at least two of the pipes, the first water pipe, the second water pipe, and the heater guide pipe, to bind them together; and a cylindrical covering material covering the outside of the first water pipe, the second water pipe, the heater guide pipe, and the binding tape.

[0007] In this configuration of water supply and hot water piping, at least two of the first water pipe, the second water pipe, and the heater guide pipe are bound together with binding tape. As a result, the positional relationship between the at least two bound pipes is prevented from shifting or twisting unexpectedly, and consequently, the position of the heater guide pipe becomes more stable, and heat conduction from the heater to the first water pipe and the second water pipe can be stabilized.

[0008] The invention of claim 2 is as described in claim 1, wherein the binding tape is wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe and the second water pipe, a space is defined by the outer surface of the first water pipe, the outer surface of the second water pipe, and the inner surface of the binding tape, and the heater guide pipe is positioned outside the binding tape, adjacent to the space.

[0009] The invention of claim 3 is as described in claim 1, wherein the binding tape is wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe, the second water pipe, and the heater guide pipe.

[0010] The invention of claim 4 is as described in claim 1, wherein the binding tape is wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe and the heater guide pipe, a space is defined by the outer surface of the first water pipe, the outer surface of the heater guide pipe, and the inner surface of the binding tape, and the second water pipe is positioned outside the binding tape, adjacent to the space.

[0011] The invention of claim 5 is as described in any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the heater guide tube has a bellows-shaped outer surface with irregularities along the axial direction. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[0013] [First Embodiment] An embodiment embodying the present invention will be described below. As shown in Figs. 1 to 3 and 6, the water and hot water supply pipe 1 of the present embodiment includes a first flowing water pipe 10, a second flowing water pipe 20, a heater guide pipe 30, a binding tape 40, and a covering material 50. The pipe 1 is used, for example, for reheating bath water in outdoors or cold regions where there is a risk of freezing. The water and hot water supply pipe 1 is formed to be long and continuous in the left-right direction in Fig. 1 (front view), and is cut into a required length for use.

[0014] In the water and hot water supply pipe 1, the first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are for circulating hot and cold water. The first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are so-called paired pipes, one of which is for delivering hot water to a bathtub, and the other is for returning hot water from the bathtub. During construction, for example, the first flowing water pipe 10 may be used as an outgoing pipe for delivering hot water heated by a water heater to the bathtub, and the second flowing water pipe 20 may be used as a return pipe for returning hot water from the bathtub to the water heater. The first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are formed of the same material and have the same structure. The first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are made of synthetic resin such as cross-linked polyethylene and polybutene, for example. The first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are formed thicker than the heater guide pipe 30 so as to withstand a certain water pressure (e.g., 1.75 MPa or more). The first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 have the same outer diameter and inner diameter as each other.

[0015] As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the heater guide tube 30 is provided for inserting and arranging an elongated heater 90 inside thereof. The heater guide tube 30 is made of, for example, a synthetic resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene. The heater guide tube 30 is formed to have slightly larger inner and outer diameters than the first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20. The heater guide tube 30 is formed in a bellows shape having repeated irregularities along the axial direction, and has stretchability and flexibility. In the present embodiment, the heater guide tube 30 is a corrugated tube, and both the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the heater guide tube 30 are formed in a bellows shape. A recess 31 and a protrusion 32 are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the heater guide tube 30. As shown in FIG. 3, the protrusions 32 of the heater guide tube 30 are located at both ends of the water and hot water supply pipe 1. The heater guide tube 30 allows the heater 90 to be easily inserted and arranged in the water and hot water supply pipe 1. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the axis P1 of the first flowing water pipe 10, the axis P2 of the second flowing water pipe 20, and the axis P3 of the heater guide tube 30 extend in the same direction.

[0016] The heater 90 inserted and arranged inside the heater guide tube 30 transmits heat to the first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 by generating heat, and is for heating water in the first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20. As the heater 90, for example, a self-temperature control type heater, a heater with a thermostat, or the like can be used.

[0017] The binding tape 40 is wound around the outer circumference of at least two of the first flowing water pipe 10, the second flowing water pipe 20, and the heater guide tube 30, and is for binding the pipes to each other. In the present embodiment, specifically, the first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are arranged side by side in contact with each other, and the belt-shaped binding tape 40 is spirally wound around the outer circumferences of the first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20. The first flowing water pipe 10 and the second flowing water pipe 20 are bound together by the wound binding tape 40.

[0018] As shown in Figures 4, 5, and 7, the binding tape 40 is spirally wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 to form a cylindrical binding portion 41. Note that in Figure 5, the covering material 50 is removed for display, and in Figure 7, the heater guide pipe 30 and the covering material 50 are removed for display. As shown in Figure 7, a strip of adhesive tape 42 is attached to the outer surface of the binding portion 41 along the axial direction to prevent the binding tape 40 from coming undone. In other words, the binding portion 41 is composed of the binding tape 40 and the adhesive tape 42. In this embodiment, the adhesive tape 42 is attached to the binding tape 40 on the side opposite to the heater guide pipe 30 (the lower side of the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 in Figures 3 to 6) and to the portion that spans the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20.

[0019] The fastening tape 40 is a metallic tape with a thickness of approximately 10 to 40 μm, specifically an aluminum tape with aluminum as its main component. The fastening tape 40 is a non-adhesive tape with no adhesive properties on either side. On the other hand, the adhesive tape 42 is a transparent polyester film with adhesive properties on one side (the side that is attached to the fastening tape 40).

[0020] As shown in Figures 3, 4, and 6, the cylindrical covering material 50 covers the outside of the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, the heater guide pipe 30, and the fastening tape 40. The covering material 50 is in direct contact with the heater guide pipe 30 and in contact with the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 via the fastening tape 40 (fastening portion 41). In Figures 3 and 4, it is shown that there is no gap between the fastening tape 40 (fastening portion 41) and the heater guide pipe 30 and the covering material 50, but a gap may exist between them. The covering material 50 is made of a synthetic resin foam, particularly a polyolefin foam such as polyethylene or polypropylene. The covering material 50 prevents damage and condensation to the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30, and enhances heat insulation and heat retention. A weather-resistant protective polyethylene sheet (not shown) is attached to the outer surface of the covering material 50. In other words, the covering material 50 is weather-resistant and can prevent ultraviolet degradation of the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30. Therefore, the water supply and hot water supply piping 1 can be used as piping from an outdoor water heater to a bathtub. The water supply and hot water supply piping 1 located outdoors is at risk of freezing due to low temperatures, but as described above, freezing can be suppressed by the heater 90 inserted into the heater guide pipe 30.

[0021] The thickness of the covering material 50 can typically be between 3 and 20 mm. If the thickness is less than 3 mm, it may be difficult for the covering material 50 to fully perform its function. On the other hand, if the thickness exceeds 20 mm, it may become difficult to handle, such as being difficult to bend. In this embodiment, the thickness of the covering material is 10 mm.

[0022] Furthermore, in a natural state where no external forces are acting on the covering material 50, when it is alone and the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are not inserted inside, the covering material 50 has a circular cross-sectional shape. However, when the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are inserted inside and forces are acting from these pipes, the covering material has a roughly triangular cross-sectional shape, that is, a rounded triangular shape, as shown in Figures 3 and 4.

[0023] Next, the positional relationship between the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 will be explained. As shown in Figure 4, in a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction of the water supply and hot water supply piping 1, the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged in a triangular shape. That is, the axis P1 of the first water pipe 10, the axis P2 of the second water pipe 20, and the axis P3 of the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged to form a triangle (more specifically, an isosceles triangle).

[0024] Furthermore, a space S is defined by the outer surface of the first water pipe 10, the outer surface of the second water pipe 20, and the inner surface of the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41). The heater guide pipe 30 is positioned outside the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41), in contact with the binding portion 41 (specifically the binding tape 40), and adjacent to the space S.

[0025] Next, the effects and advantages of this embodiment will be described. (1) The first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 are bound together by binding tape 40 (binding portion 41). As a result, the positional relationship between the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 is prevented from being unexpectedly shifted or twisted, and as a result, the position of the heater guide pipe 30 is more stable, and heat conduction from the heater 90 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 can be stabilized.

[0026] (2) The heater guide pipe 30 is not connected to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20. Therefore, when the water supply and hot water supply piping 1 is bent, the heater guide pipe 30 can bend independently of the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20, thereby improving the overall flexibility of the water supply and hot water supply piping 1.

[0027] (3) The heater guide tube 30 is positioned outside the binding tape 40, adjacent to the space S defined by the outer surface of the first water pipe 10, the outer surface of the second water pipe 20, and the inner surface of the binding tape 40. In this state, the binding tape 40 is more likely to be recessed into the space S by being pressed by the heater guide tube 30. The heater guide tube 30 can be stably positioned in the recessed area, and the reduction in heat conductivity from the heater 90 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 due to the heater guide tube 30 being positioned outside the binding tape 40 can be suppressed.

[0028] (4) Because the outer surface of the heater guide tube 30 is bellows-shaped with irregularities, it is less likely to shift position relative to the binding tape 40 compared to the case where the outer surface is smooth, the position of the heater guide tube 30 is stable, and as a result, heat conduction from the heater 90 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 can be stabilized.

[0029] (5) The outer surface of the heater guide tube 30 is formed in a bellows-like shape with irregularities along the axial direction. Therefore, the expandability and flexibility of the heater guide tube 30 can be improved. As a result, the expandability and flexibility of the entire water supply and hot water supply piping 1, including the heater guide tube 30, can be improved.

[0030] (6) The binding tape 40 is made of metal (aluminum tape). This improves the thermal conductivity of the binding tape 40, so that the heat from the heater 90 can be efficiently transferred from the heater guide tube 30 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 via the binding tape 40.

[0031] [Second Embodiment] Next, a second embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 8 to 13. The water supply and hot water supply piping 2 of the second embodiment differs from the water supply and hot water supply piping 1 of the first embodiment in that the binding tape 40 is wrapped around the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 and binds them together, and the cross-sectional shape of the covering material 50 is circular. All other components are the same. Components identical to those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant explanations are omitted.

[0032] As shown in Figures 10 and 11, the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged side by side in contact with each other. That is, the first water pipe 10 is in contact with the second water pipe 20 and the heater guide pipe 30, and the second water pipe 20 is in contact with the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30. In this state, the binding tape 40 is spirally wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30. The first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are bound together by the wrapped binding tape 40. More specifically, as shown in Figures 12 and 13, the binding tape 40 is wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30, with the tape embedded in the recess 31 on the outer surface of the heater guide pipe 30. As shown in Figures 10 and 11, the adhesive tape 42 is attached to the portion of the binding tape 40 that spans the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20.

[0033] In this embodiment as well, as shown in Figures 10 and 11, the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged in a triangular shape in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the water supply and hot water supply piping 2. That is, the axis P1 of the first water pipe 10, the axis P2 of the second water pipe 20, and the axis P3 of the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged to form a triangle (more specifically, an isosceles triangle).

[0034] As shown in Figures 10 and 11, the covering material 50 has a circular cross-sectional shape. Although Figures 10 and 11 show a gap between the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41) and the covering material 50, there does not need to be a gap between them.

[0035] In addition to the effects (4) to (6) of the first embodiment, the water supply and hot water supply piping 2 of this embodiment provides the following effects. (7) The first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are bound together with binding tape 40 (binding portion 41). As a result, the positional relationship between the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 is prevented from being unexpectedly shifted or twisted, and as a result, the position of the heater guide pipe 30 is more stable, and heat conduction from the heater 90 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 can be stabilized.

[0036] (8) Since the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20 and the heater guide pipe 30 are wrapped together with binding tape 40, the heat from the heater 90 can be efficiently transferred to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20.

[0037] (9) When the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are bound together with the binding tape 40, they are in contact with each other and arranged in a triangular shape. As a result, the relative positions of the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 become more stable, and as a result, heat conduction from the heater 90 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 can be further stabilized.

[0038] [Third Embodiment] Next, a third embodiment will be described with reference to Figures 8, 9, 14, and 15. The water supply and hot water supply piping 3 of the third embodiment differs from the water supply and hot water supply piping 1 of the first embodiment in that the binding tape 40 is wrapped around the first water flow pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30 and binds them together, and the cross-sectional shape of the covering material 50 is circular. All other components are the same. Components identical to those in the first embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant explanations are omitted.

[0039] As shown in Figures 14 and 15, the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged side by side in contact with each other, and a strip-shaped binding tape 40 is spirally wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30. The first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30 are bound together by the wrapped binding tape 40. Here, similar to the second embodiment, the binding tape 40 is wrapped around the outer circumference of the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30, with the tape embedded in the recess 31 on the outer surface of the heater guide pipe 30. As shown in Figures 14 and 15, the adhesive tape 42 is attached to the binding tape 40 on the side opposite to the second water pipe 20, and on the portion that spans the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30.

[0040] In a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction of the water supply and hot water supply piping 3, the first water pipe 10, the second water pipe 20, and the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged in a triangular shape. That is, the axis P1 of the first water pipe 10, the axis P2 of the second water pipe 20, and the axis P3 of the heater guide pipe 30 are arranged to form a triangle.

[0041] Furthermore, a space S is defined by the outer surface of the first water pipe 10, the outer surface of the heater guide pipe 30, and the inner surface of the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41). The second water pipe 20 is positioned outside the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41), in contact with the binding portion 41 (specifically the binding tape 40), and adjacent to the space S.

[0042] As shown in Figures 14 and 15, the covering material 50 has a circular cross-sectional shape. In Figures 14 and 15, gaps are shown between the portion of the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41) on the heater guide tube 30 side and the covering material 50, and between the second water flow pipe 20 and the covering material 50, but there does not have to be a gap between the two. Similarly, although there is no gap shown between the portion of the binding tape 40 (binding portion 41) on the first water flow pipe 10 side and the covering material 50, there may be a gap between the two.

[0043] In addition to the effects (4) to (6) of the first embodiment, the water supply and hot water supply piping 3 of this embodiment provides the following effects. (10) The first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30 are fastened together with binding tape 40 (binding portion 41). As a result, the positional relationship between the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30 is prevented from shifting or twisting unexpectedly, and as a result, the position of the heater guide pipe 30 becomes more stable, and heat conduction from the heater 90 to the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 can be stabilized.

[0044] (11) The second water pipe 20 is not connected to the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30. Therefore, when the water supply and hot water supply piping 3 is bent, the second water pipe 20 can bend independently of the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30, thereby improving the overall flexibility of the water supply and hot water supply piping 3.

[0045] (12) Since the first water pipe 10 and the heater guide pipe 30 are wrapped together with binding tape 40, the heat from the heater 90 can be efficiently transferred to the first water pipe 10.

[0046] (13) The second water pipe 20 is positioned on the outside of the binding tape 40, adjacent to the space S defined by the outer surface of the first water pipe 10, the outer surface of the heater guide pipe 30, and the inner surface of the binding tape 40. In this state, the binding tape 40 is more likely to be recessed into the space S by being pressed by the second water pipe 20. The second water pipe 20 is then more easily positioned stably in the recessed area, and the reduction in heat conductivity from the heater 90 to the second water pipe 20 due to the second water pipe 20 being positioned on the outside of the binding tape 40 can be suppressed.

[0047] [Other embodiments] The above embodiment can also be modified as follows, for example. The above embodiment and the following modifications can be combined and implemented to the extent that they do not contradict each other technically.

[0048] The first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 are not limited to paired pipes for reheating. The diameters of the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20 may be different.

[0049] The heater guide tube 30 is not limited to a bellows-shaped tube. The heater guide tube 30 may be a tube having cylindrical smooth surfaces on both its inner and outer circumferential surfaces. • The binding tape 40 is not limited to aluminum; other metal tapes (such as lead tape) or non-metallic tapes (such as resin tape) may also be used.

[0050] In the second and third embodiments, the binding tape 40 does not need to be embedded in the recess 31 on the outer surface of the heater guide tube 30.

[0051] The position where the adhesive tape 42 is attached is not limited. In the first embodiment, the adhesive tape 42 may be attached to the binding tape 40 so that the heater guide tube 30 and the binding tape 40 do not come into direct contact. For example, the adhesive tape 42 may be attached to the binding tape 40 at a position corresponding to the heater guide tube 30, that is, it may be located between the binding tape 40 and the heater guide tube 30. In this case, it is possible to prevent the protrusion 32 of the heater guide tube 30 from getting caught on the spirally wrapped binding tape 40. In the second embodiment, the adhesive tape 42 may be attached to a portion that spans the first water pipe 10 or the second water pipe 20 and the heater guide tube 30, rather than a portion that spans the first water pipe 10 and the second water pipe 20. In the third embodiment, the adhesive tape 42 may be attached to the binding tape 40 at a position corresponding to the second water pipe 20, that is, it may be located between the binding tape 40 and the second water pipe 20.

[0052] The adhesive tape 42 may be removed. In other words, the binding portion 41 may be formed by the binding tape 40 alone. In this case, a portion of the binding tape 40 may be made adhesive to prevent the binding tape 40 from coming undone.

[0053] The cross-sectional shape of the covering material 50 is not limited. In the first embodiment, the covering material 50 may have a circular cross-sectional shape, and in the second and third embodiments, the covering material 50 may have a roughly triangular cross-sectional shape, that is, a rounded triangular cross-sectional shape.

[0054] In the above embodiment, as shown in Figures 3, 10, and 14, the protrusions 32 of the heater guide pipe 30 are located at both ends of the water supply and hot water supply pipes 1, 2, and 3, but this is not limited to this. The recesses 31 of the heater guide pipe 30 may be located at both ends of the water supply and hot water supply pipes 1, 2, and 3. Alternatively, the recess 31 of the heater guide pipe 30 may be located at one end of the water supply and hot water supply pipes 1, 2, and 3, and the protrusions 32 of the heater guide pipe 30 may be located at the other end of the water supply and hot water supply pipes 1, 2, and 3.
