Abstract

We provide a L-shaped staircase with excellent ease of installation. [Solution] The L-shaped staircase according to the present invention is a L-shaped staircase 1 comprising a lower staircase 2, an upper staircase 3, and a landing 4 provided between the lower staircase 2 and the upper staircase 3, wherein the landing 4 comprises a frame 5 and a plate portion 6 provided on the frame 5, and the frame 5 is characterized in that it is formed by connecting a lower staircase stringer extension portion 20A, which is an extension of the stringers 20, 20 of the lower staircase, and an upper staircase stringer extension portion 30A, which is an extension of the stringers 30, 30 of the upper staircase.

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a quarter-turn staircase, and more particularly to a frame structure for a landing of a quarter-turn staircase.

[0002] A quarter-turn staircase including a lower flight, an upper flight, and a landing provided between the lower flight and the upper flight is known (see Patent Document 1). A landing is an intermediate portion of a staircase provided for purposes such as changing the direction of the staircase, allowing a short rest, and reducing the risk of falling. A quarter-turn staircase is a staircase configured such that the extending direction of the lower flight and the extending direction of the upper flight change direction by 90° at the landing. In the quarter-turn staircase disclosed in Patent Document 1, the detailed structure of the landing is not disclosed. Note that, as a structure of a landing for a half-turn staircase, for example, a structure including a frame and a plate portion provided on the frame is known (see Patent Document 2). The frame of the landing for a half-turn staircase disclosed in Patent Document 2 is constituted by a rectangular frame body formed by erection of four joists between a pair of front and rear joist receiving members to integrate them by joining; the lower surface of a rectangular plate portion (flat plate) is placed on this rectangular frame body and the plate portion is fixed to the frame body, thereby forming the landing. A conventional quarter-turn staircase is configured, for example, by connecting the frame body constituting the landing frame disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 2 or the like to the stringer of the lower flight and the stringer of the upper flight.
