Abstract

The toilet paper holder disclosed in Patent Document 1 allows for easy one-handed use of toilet paper by dispensing it from the holder by operating a handle lever equipped with a ratchet mechanism that protrudes from the outside of the toilet paper holder. However, the handle lever protrudes from the outside of the toilet paper holder, which poses a problem as it can be inconvenient. [Solution] The present invention provides a toilet paper holder that uses a paper cutter, which is essential for a toilet paper holder, to dispense toilet paper from the toilet paper holder.

Claims

1. A toilet paper holder comprising a first side and a second side facing each other for holding toilet paper, a connecting member connecting the first side and the second side, a toilet paper support means for supporting the toilet paper in a state that prevents it from rotating freely, and a paper cutter for cutting the toilet paper, wherein the toilet paper holder is characterized in that, by swinging the paper cutter, which is pivotably mounted on the toilet paper holder, up and down, the first support shaft that supports the paper cutter rotates backward relative to the first support shaft, causing the roll of toilet paper provided on the toilet paper holder to rotate in a direction that causes the toilet paper to come out of the toilet paper holder, thereby discharging the toilet paper from the toilet paper holder, and the first support shaft that supports the paper cutter is provided with a ratchet mechanism that cuts off the transmission of power to the first support shaft when the paper cutter is moved downward, and a conversion device that reverses the direction of rotation is provided between the first support shaft that supports the paper cutter and the toilet paper support means that supports the toilet paper.
