Description

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention relates to a technique for generating time-series data.

BACKGROUND ART

[0002] Currently, decarbonization is required across society as a whole. The entities that actually achieve decarbonization are mainly ordinary enterprises (hereinafter referred to as consumers). For these consumers, decarbonization activities are not their core business, and in reality, it is difficult for them to plan and execute decarbonization such as when and what measures to implement.

[0003] Accordingly, in response to these decarbonization needs of consumers, various companies that provide decarbonization solutions for realizing decarbonization are developing consulting activities and equipment sales activities through decarbonization simulation. One of the input data for decarbonization simulation is the time-series data of the power demand of the consumer. Patent Document 1 is a prior art related to a method for creating time-series data of power demand of a consumer.

[0004] Patent Document 1 aims to "accurately estimate a plurality of partial loads such as loads for each device in the estimation target consumer while reducing the device burden on the estimation target consumer". For this purpose, Patent Document 1 calculates "inter-consumer correspondence information", "representative model data correspondence information", and "estimation target consumer detailed load information" as time-series data.

PATENT DOCUMENT 1

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION

[0006] Here, Patent Document 1 requires obtaining detailed customer load information that shows the time-series changes in individual customer loads, which represent the energy consumption of each customer. To do this, it is necessary to obtain this information by some means. For example, a means of measuring time-series power consumption other than a so-called meter reader may be required, or it may be necessary to estimate power consumption by other means.

[0007] However, achieving these goals is difficult. For example, time-series power consumption measurement devices are rarely provided to consumers, and such devices incur considerable costs. Furthermore, estimating power consumption requires other information, which also presents challenges. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] To solve the above problems, the present invention includes multiple means for solving the above problems, but one example is to generate time-series energy consumption data, which is time-series data of consumers, by multiplying a standard model, which is standard time-series data, by a period multiplier for quantitative data that shows energy consumption over a predetermined period.

[0009] A more specific aspect of the present invention is a time-series data generation device for generating time-series energy consumption data showing changes in a consumer's energy consumption over time, comprising: a storage unit for storing a standard model relating to normalized energy consumption; an input unit for receiving quantitative data indicating energy consumption over a predetermined period; a period multiplier calculation unit for calculating a period multiplier for the quantitative data; and a time-series data generation unit for generating time-series energy consumption data of the consumer by multiplying the energy consumption of the standard model over the predetermined period by the period multiplier.

[0010] Furthermore, the present invention also includes a time-series data generation method performed by a time-series data generation device. [Effects of the Invention]

[0011] According to the present invention, time-series energy consumption data, which is time-series data, can be generated more easily. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[Figure 10] This figure shows an example of the hardware configuration of a time-series data generation device 10 in one embodiment of the present invention. [Modes for carrying out the invention]

[0013] In the present embodiment, a case will be described where power is taken as an example of energy, and time-series energy consumption data indicating temporal changes in energy consumption at an energy consumer is generated. Note that the present embodiment can also be applied to other energies such as gas and heat other than power.

[0014] Further, in the present embodiment, for consumers and the like, a month (one month) is used as a predetermined period, and if there is a defect in energy consumption data for a certain month, the usage amount of another month is used to complement the energy consumption data of the defective month, thereby generating time-series demand data which is an example of the time-series energy consumption data.

[0015] However, the complement of energy consumption data for a defective month is merely an example, and the time-series energy consumption data may be generated when there is no defective month. Further, a month is an example of the predetermined period, and other periods may be used. For this reason, a defective month is also an example of a defective period, and a defective day, a defective week, or the like may be used. Furthermore, the time-series energy consumption data is an example of time-series data indicating temporal changes including factors other than energy consumption.

[0016] Hereinafter, details of the present embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings. Figure 1 is a functional block diagram of a time-series data generation device 10 according to the present embodiment. Here, the configuration of the time-series data generation device 10 and the data generation processing executed thereby will be described using Figure 1.

[0017] First, the time-series data generation device 10 includes an input unit 1, an industry-specific standard model database 2, a standard model acquisition unit 3, a monthly magnification calculation unit 4, a defective month magnification calculation unit 5, a monthly magnification defect complement unit 6, a standard model expansion unit 7, and an output unit 8.

[0018] The input unit 1 receives various types of data input from a user or the like. For this reason, the input unit 1 can be implemented by an input device such as a keyboard or a touch panel, or a communication apparatus.

[0019] Industry-Specific Standard Model Database 2 is stored in a memory unit (not shown) and is a database that stores standard time-series electricity demand models for each industry. A standard model, also called standard time-series data, represents a normalized, standard model of electricity consumption for each industry.

[0020] Furthermore, in this embodiment, a standard model is used for each subdivided period derived from a predetermined period. Here, "month" is used as an example of the predetermined period, and "day" is used as the subdivided period.

[0021] The standard model acquisition unit 3 acquires data from the industry-specific standard model database 2 that matches the industry specified by the user, as received by the input unit 1.

[0022] The monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 calculates a monthly multiplier, which is a multiplier used to expand the standard model, according to the value of the customer's monthly power consumption set by the user, which is received by the input unit 1. Here, expansion means converting the daily standard model into monthly data.

[0023] The missing month multiplier calculation unit 5 calculates an expansion multiplier, which is an example of a period multiplier for the standard model for each missing month in the monthly electricity consumption data of the customer set by the user, which has been received by the input unit 1.

[0024] The monthly multiplier missing data interpolation unit 6 interpolates the multiplier for months with missing monthly power consumption data to generate a multiplier, which is an example of the multiplier for the standard model for the entire year. Note that "entire year" refers to an annual period, which is an example of a set period, which is a set of months that constitutes a predetermined period.

[0025] Here, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4, the missing monthly multiplier calculation unit 5, and the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6 may be configured as a period multiplier calculation unit that calculates period multipliers for quantitative data. Furthermore, the period multiplier calculation unit may be configured to include the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4, the missing monthly multiplier calculation unit 5, and the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6.

[0026] Therefore, the monthly electricity consumption data is just one example of quantitative data, and data for periods other than months may also be used. Furthermore, the magnification factor for missing months is just one example of a period magnification factor, and magnification factors for periods other than months may also be used.

[0027] The standard model expansion unit 7 calculates time-series electricity demand data, which is an example of time-series energy consumption data for a target consumer, by multiplying the acquired standard model by a monthly multiplier. Time-series electricity demand data is an example of time-series energy consumption data, and represents the estimated amount of electricity consumed by the consumer, that is, data showing the change in consumption over time. Thus, the standard model expansion unit 7 is an example of a time-series data generation unit that generates time-series energy consumption data.

[0028] The output unit 8 outputs the results of the standard model enlargement unit 7 to a monitor or the like. Therefore, the output unit 8 can be implemented using a display device or communication device. The following provides a detailed explanation of these components.

[0029] First, the display screen at the output unit 8 and the corresponding input at the input unit 1 will be explained using Figures 2A and 2B. Figures 2A and 2B are diagrams showing the screen images of the display screen in this embodiment. First, Figure 2A shows the standard model input screen 101, and Figure 2B shows the time-series power demand generation data input screen 111.

[0030] The timing for using each of these screens is as follows: the standard model input screen 101 is used when the data to be included in the standard model for the industry-specific standard model database 2 (described later) is registered in advance, and the time-series power demand generation data input screen 111 is used after all the data to be included in the standard model input screen 101 has been collected.

[0031] First, let's explain the standard model input screen 101. The standard model input screen 101 accepts the user's input via the input unit 1 to select the industry of the standard model to be registered from a pull-down list in the industry setting area 102.

[0032] Next, the input unit 1 receives input from the user into the (2) standard model input area 103, which contains data for the standard model of the relevant industry. Figure 2A shows an example of registration using a combination of date and time and power consumption. The date and time is a set of date and time, and input cells for one year at one-hour intervals are arranged vertically.

[0033] On the other hand, the power cell sequentially inputs time-series power demand values normalized to 1kW. The input values can be time-series models published by various research organizations, normalized to 1kW. Here, they are written as Pm_01010000 and Pm_01010100. When the user presses the display button 104, that is, when the display button 104 is specified by the user, the input content is displayed in the (3) input data confirmation area 105 as a graph according to the input data to the standard model input area 103, allowing the user to confirm the input content.

[0034] Alternatively, the system could allow the user to move a slider bar left or right to display a full year's worth of data. The user then checks if there are any problems with the input data, and if so, presses the standard model registration button 106.

[0035] In response to this operation, the data entered in the standard model input area 103 as the standard model for the industry set in the industry setting area 102 is registered in the industry-specific standard model database 2. This registration may be performed by the registration unit (not shown) of the time-series data generation device 10, or by other components such as the standard model acquisition unit 3. Then, by performing the above procedure for each setting in the industry setting area 102, the data recorded in the industry-specific standard model database 2 is expanded.

[0036] Next, we will explain the data input screen 111 for generating time-series electricity demand, as shown in Figure 2B. The user (1) selects the industry of the customer from which time-series data will be generated in the industry setting area 112 from a pull-down list. Then, (2) enters the monthly electricity consumption data of the target customer into the monthly electricity consumption input area 113.

[0037] Monthly electricity consumption data can be obtained, for example, from the meter reading results (usage) listed on the electricity company's billing statement. Here, these are labeled U01 and U02. If there are missing values in the monthly electricity consumption data, the user checks the corresponding cell in the column for the missing month and selects the "representative month," which is the month used as the basis for calculating the scaling factor for creating the time-series data for that month.

[0038] In this embodiment, the monthly electricity consumption data for July is missing, and March is selected as the representative month. When the user presses the display button 114, (3) the input data confirmation area 115 displays a graph according to the data entered in the monthly electricity consumption input area 113. This allows the user to confirm the input content. If there are no problems with the input data, the user presses the time series data creation button 116.

[0039] As a result, the registration unit or standard model acquisition unit 3, etc., transfers the industry set in the industry setting area 112 and the data entered in the monthly power consumption input area 113 to the subsequent units. Note that each unit may acquire this transferred data. For example, the entered data may be stored in a storage medium such as memory, and each unit may be configured to read the standard model from the storage medium.

[0040] Next, Figure 3 shows an example of a standard model 21 stored in the time-series power demand of the industry-specific standard model database 2. Figure 3 shows the table definition of the standard model 21. The standard model 21 shown in this table stores data defined by input to the standard model input area 103 and registered by the standard model registration button 106.

[0041] Furthermore, the standard model 21 is recorded in tabs 22, divided according to the industry set in the industry setting area 102. Next, the process of acquiring the standard model 21 executed by the standard model acquisition unit 3 will be described.

[0042] Figure 4 is a flowchart showing the acquisition process flow executed by the standard model acquisition unit 3 in this embodiment. First, in step S31, the standard model acquisition unit 3 acquires the industry set in the industry setting area 112 and received by the input unit 1.

[0043] In step 32, the standard model acquisition unit 3 refers to the industry-specific standard model database 2 and acquires a standard model for the same industry as the target company, i.e., the same industry as the industry set in the industry setting area 112, by selecting the tab 22 of the standard model 21.

[0044] In step S32, standard models of industries that have a predetermined relationship, such as industries similar to the set industry, may be obtained. Figure 3 may also be used as the display content on the display screen. Furthermore, the standard model 21 only needs to be a standard model for each industry, and does not need to be classified in tab format.

[0045] Then, in step S33, the standard model acquisition unit 3 transfers the standard model acquired in step S32 to the standard model expansion unit 7 and the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4. Alternatively, the standard model acquisition unit 3 may be configured to store the standard model acquired in step S32 in a storage medium such as memory, and in step S33, the standard model expansion unit 7 and the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 may read the standard model from the storage medium.

[0046] Next, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 will be described using Figures 5A and 5B. Figure 5A is a flowchart showing the processing flow of the monthly multiplier calculation process performed by the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 in this embodiment.

[0047] First, in step S41, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 acquires the monthly power consumption data received by the input unit 1 via the monthly power consumption input area 113. The monthly power consumption data may be entered by the user, or it may be the monthly power consumption data notified by the power company system via the network. In this case, the notified monthly power consumption data is stored in the storage unit, and the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 reads it out.

[0048] In step S42, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 acquires the standard model transferred from the standard model acquisition unit 3. In step S43, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 uses the monthly power consumption data acquired in step S41 to enlarge the amplitude of the standard model acquired in step S42 and calculates a monthly multiplier to match the monthly power consumption. At this time, the monthly multiplier is calculated according to (Equation 1) below. However, it is not calculated for months with missing data.

[0049]

number

[0050] Here, the meaning of each symbol in (Equation 1) is as follows: RMM: Monthly multiplier for monthly MM (01~12) (unitless), UMM: Monthly power consumption of monthly MM (kWh), X: Monthly (January (01)~December (12)), Pm_MMDDhhmm: Time-specific power of the standard model (kW), t: Time MMDDhhmm (MM: month, DD: day, hh: hour, mm: minute), dt: Time interval of time-specific power of the standard model (h), t_start_MM: First time slot of monthly MM (for example, if MM is January, then January 1st 0:00), t_end_MM: Last time slot of monthly MM (for example, if dt=1(h) and MM is January, then January 1st 23:00).

[0051] Here, Figure 5B shows an example of the monthly multiplier 45 calculated, i.e., generated, by the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 using (Equation 1). In this example, the monthly multiplier RMM was calculated for each month, but July, which is a missing month, is recorded as "missing".

[0052] Returning to Figure 5A, let's continue explaining the calculation process for the monthly multipliers. In step S44, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 transfers the monthly multiplier 45 calculated in (Equation 1) to the monthly multiplier missing data completion unit 6 and the missing monthly multiplier calculation unit 5. Alternatively, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4 may be configured to store the monthly multiplier 45 calculated in step S43 in a storage medium such as memory, and in step S44, the monthly multiplier missing data completion unit 6 and the missing monthly multiplier calculation unit 5 may read the monthly multiplier 45 from the storage medium.

[0053] Next, the deficit month multiplier calculation unit 5 will be described using Figure 6. Figure 6 is a flowchart showing the processing flow of the calculation process for the monthly multiplier of a deficit month executed by the deficit month multiplier calculation unit 5 in this embodiment. Note that this processing flow may be configured so that the deficit month multiplier calculation unit 5 determines whether there is a deficit month and executes the process if there is.

[0054] First, in step S51, the missing month multiplier calculation unit 5 obtains the missing month and representative month set by the input unit 1 via the monthly power consumption input area 113. In this embodiment, the missing month is July and the representative month is March. Here, the representative month is the month of the monthly power consumption data that serves as the basis for generating time-series data.

[0055] In step S52, the deficit month multiplier calculation unit 5 obtains the monthly multiplier 45 transferred from the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4. In step S53, the deficit month multiplier calculation unit 5 sets the monthly multiplier for the deficit month. Specifically, the deficit month multiplier calculation unit 5 refers to the monthly multiplier 45 and substitutes the same value as the monthly multiplier R03 for the representative month as the value of the monthly multiplier R07 for the deficit month of July.

[0056] Here, the following can be used as the representative month and the monthly multiplier for the missing month to be substituted. First, the month adjacent to the missing month can be used as the representative month. Also, as the monthly multiplier for the missing month, representative values such as the average of the two months before and after the missing month, or the average or median of the monthly multipliers for the monthly multiplier 45 (1 year) can be used.

[0057] Furthermore, the data received by the user from the input unit 1 may be used as the monthly multiplier for the representative month or the missing month to be substituted. In this case, the output unit 8 outputs the monthly multiplier 45, and the user can refer to this to input the monthly multiplier for the representative month or the missing month. The user may input the monthly multiplier for the missing month as a numerical value, or select it from the displayed monthly multiplier 45.

[0058] Furthermore, in step S54, the missing month multiplier calculation unit 5 transfers the monthly multiplier R07 for the substituted missing month (in this case, July) to the monthly multiplier missing data completion unit 6. Alternatively, the missing month multiplier calculation unit 5 may be configured to store the monthly multiplier R07 for the missing month substituted into the monthly multiplier 45 in step S53 in a storage medium such as memory, and in step S54, the monthly multiplier missing data completion unit 6 may read the substituted monthly multiplier R07 for the missing month from the storage medium.

[0059] Next, the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6 will be described using Figures 7A and 7B. First, Figure 7A is a flowchart showing the processing flow of the monthly multiplier missing data imputation process performed by the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6. First, in step S61, the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6 obtains the monthly multiplier 45 transferred from the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4.

[0060] In step S62, the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6 obtains the monthly multiplier for the missing month (July, R07) transferred from the missing month multiplier calculation unit 5. In step S63, the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6 assigns the monthly multiplier for the missing month (July) of the monthly multiplier 45 (R07) to generate the imputed monthly multiplier 65.

[0061] Here, Figure 7B shows the generated interpolated monthly multiplier 65. In the monthly multiplier 45 generated by the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4, the monthly multiplier for July was missing, but in this interpolated monthly multiplier 65, the value is set as R07. Next, we return to Figure 7A and continue the explanation of the monthly multiplier missing data interpolation process.

[0062] In step S64, the monthly magnification loss completion unit 6 transfers the completed monthly magnification 65 to the standard model enlargement unit 7. Alternatively, the monthly magnification loss completion unit 6 may be configured to store the completed monthly magnification 65 in a storage medium such as memory, and in step S64, the standard model enlargement unit 7 may read the completed monthly magnification 65 from the storage medium.

[0063] Next, the standard model enlargement unit 7 will be described. Figure 8 is a flowchart showing the processing flow of the standard model enlargement process performed by the standard model enlargement unit 7 in this embodiment.

[0064] First, in step S71, the standard model enlargement unit 7 acquires the standard model transferred from the standard model acquisition unit 3. In step S72, the standard model enlargement unit 7 acquires the supplemented monthly magnification 65 transferred from the monthly magnification missing data supplementation unit 6.

[0065] In step S73, the standard model expansion unit 7 expands the acquired standard model using (equation 2) and generates time-series power demand data for the target consumer.

[0066]

number

[0067] Here, the meaning of each symbol in (Equation 2) is as follows: Pp: Generated time-series power demand (kW), pm(t): Power demand at time t of the standard model (kW), t: Time MMDDhhmm (MM: month, DD: day, hh: hour, mm: minute), RMM: Monthly multiplier (unitless) for monthly MM (01~12). In other words, Pm(t) is multiplied by the same monthly RMM as Pm(t). As a result, the daily standard model can be expanded to monthly data.

[0068] In step S74, the standard model expansion unit 7 transfers the time-series power demand data generated in step S73 to the output unit 8. As a result, the output unit 8 outputs the time-series power demand data. For example, the time-series power demand data is displayed on the display screen. The following describes this display screen.

[0069] Figure 9 shows the time-series power demand data display screen 80 in this embodiment. The time-series power demand data display screen 80 includes an industry area 81, a time-series power demand data area 82, a graph display button 83, and a graph area 84.

[0070] First, the industry domain 81 displays the industry of the target consumers of the generated time-series electricity demand data. The time-series electricity demand data domain 82 displays the time-series electricity demand data generated by the standard model expansion unit 7 along with date and time information.

[0071] In addition, in the example in Figure 9, pressing the graph display button 83 displays the time-series power demand data generated in the graph area 84 in graph format, in the time-series power demand data area 82.

[0072] Next, an example of the implementation of the time-series data generation device 10 in this embodiment will be described. Figure 10 is a diagram showing an example of the hardware configuration of the time-series data generation device 10 in this embodiment. In Figure 10, the time-series data generation device 10 is implemented as a so-called server, which is a type of computer, and is connected to a terminal device 20 and a power company system 30, which then execute the processing of this embodiment.

[0073] The time-series data generation device 10 includes a processor 11, a communication device 12, a memory 13, and an auxiliary storage device 14, which are connected to each other via a communication channel.

[0074] First, the processor 11 can be implemented using an arithmetic unit such as a CPU, and it performs calculations according to the time-series data generation program 15 stored in the auxiliary storage device 14, which will be described later. The time-series data generation program 15 will be described later.

[0075] Furthermore, the communication device 12 connects to the network 40 and communicates with other devices. The communication device 12 then executes the processing of the input unit 1 and output unit 8 in Figure 1. Specifically, the communication device 12 receives user operation information, such as the target industry, from the terminal device 20 via the network 40 and transmits the generated time-series power demand data to the terminal device 20.

[0076] In the configuration shown in Figure 10, the functions of the input unit 1 and output unit 8 in Figure 1 are also realized by the input devices and display devices of the terminal device 20. However, the input devices and display devices may be provided in the time-series data generation device 10, and the terminal device 20 may be omitted.

[0077] Furthermore, the memory 13 and the auxiliary storage device 14 correspond to the storage units described above. The memory 13 then displays the time-series data generation program 15 and the information used for processing by the processor 11 that is stored in the auxiliary storage device 14.

[0078] Furthermore, the auxiliary storage device 14 can be implemented using so-called storage and stores a time-series data generation program 15, an industry-specific standard model database 2, and meter reading data 16.

[0079] Furthermore, the auxiliary storage device 14 may be implemented using various storage media such as an external HDD (Hard Disk Drive), SSD (Solid State Drive), or memory card, or it may be implemented as a separate device from the time-series data generation device 10, such as a file server.

[0080] Here, according to the time-series data generation program 15, the processor 11 executes the processing of the standard model acquisition unit 3 to the standard model expansion unit 7 described above. Note that the time-series data generation program 15 may be implemented as a function of a business support program for performing related tasks such as decarbonization-related tasks.

[0081] To execute the processing of the standard model acquisition unit 3 to the standard model expansion unit 7, the time series data generation program 15 includes a standard model acquisition module 15a, a monthly multiplier calculation module 15b, a missing month multiplier calculation module 15c, a monthly multiplier missing data imputation module 15d, and a standard model expansion module 15e. These modules implement the functions of the standard model acquisition unit 3, the monthly multiplier calculation unit 4, the missing month multiplier calculation unit 5, the monthly multiplier missing data imputation unit 6, and the standard model expansion unit 7, respectively. Note that each module may be implemented as an independent program.

[0082] Furthermore, the industry-specific standard model database 2 has already been explained, so its explanation will be omitted here. In addition, the meter reading data 16 is data that includes usage amounts showing the meter reading results distributed from the power company system 30. In step S41, etc., monthly electricity consumption data can be obtained from the meter reading data 16.

[0083] Furthermore, the terminal device 20 is a computer used by the user of the time-series data generation device 10, and has input devices and display devices. Therefore, the terminal device 20 can be implemented as a PC, smartphone, or tablet. In addition, the terminal device 20 can be used by the customer's employees as users.

[0084] Note that multiple terminal devices 20 may be provided. Here, the time-series data generation device 10 can be implemented as a cloud system that provides time-series power demand data to multiple customers. In this case, the terminal device 20 is the terminal device of each customer, and the time-series data generation device 10 can be used from the terminal device 20 via the customer's internal system. Furthermore, the meter reading data 16 will be the data of each customer, but this may be stored in each customer's internal system.

[0085] Furthermore, the power company system 30 is the system that supplies electricity and creates meter reading data 16 that includes the amount of electricity used. The meter reading data 16 may be transmitted to each customer's internal system or to the time-series data generation device 10. In the latter case, it is preferable to transmit it from the internal system to the time-series data generation device 10.

[0086] Furthermore, the terminal device 20 may be used by companies supplying decarbonization solutions to consumers or by consulting firms, and the time-series data generation device 10 may be operated and managed by them. Based on the time-series electricity demand data, the decarbonization solution supply companies and consulting firms will then propose various decarbonization solutions.

[0087] This concludes the description of this embodiment. In this embodiment, time-series electricity demand data can be generated even if the customer omits the means for measuring time-series electricity consumption. Furthermore, the decarbonization solution supplier can demonstrate the decarbonization effect in general terms through simulation, and advance business negotiations to the next stage.
