Solid composition and method for producing the same

Abstract

The present invention provides a solid composition obtained by gelling a liquid composition containing starch by laser irradiation, which exhibits excellent shape retention and hardness, and a method for efficiently producing such a solid composition. [Solution] A method for producing a solid composition, comprising the following steps (i) and (ii). (i) A step of preparing a liquid composition containing 5% by mass or more of starch and 0.5% by mass or more of insoluble dietary fiber. (ii) A step of gelling a portion of the liquid composition in (i) by irradiating it with laser light according to a predetermined pattern to form a solid composition.
