[Solution] The present invention provides an information acquisition method comprising: an image acquisition step of acquiring an image that includes at least one of a scattered light image of a group of cells and an autofluorescence image of the group of cells; an extraction step of extracting individual cell regions of the group of cells in the image; a brightness distribution acquisition step of acquiring information regarding the brightness distribution of the group of cells as a feature quantity of the group of cells; and a nutritional status acquisition step of acquiring information regarding the nutritional status of the group of cells based on the information regarding the brightness distribution of the group of cells.
