Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a ring joint or the like for connecting one segment and the other segment adjacent to each other along the axial direction of a tunnel in a shield tunneling method for constructing a tunnel lining body (wall) using segments.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] In the shield tunneling method, an excavated bore drilled by a shield machine is covered with segments to prevent collapse of the natural ground or the like. Normally, in a shield tunnel, segment rings (lining bodies) are sequentially constructed behind the shield machine as the shield machine advances. Hereinafter, description will be given with the traveling direction of the shield machine defined as the front direction. The segment ring is assembled by connecting each of the divided segments arranged along the circumferential arc of the excavated bore drilled by the shield machine so as to be aligned along the circumferential arc of the excavated bore. A joint that connects adjacent segments along the circumferential arc of the excavated bore between the segments is called a segment joint. Further, a joint that connects one segment ring and the other segment ring adjacent to each other along the axial direction of the tunnel between the segment rings is called a ring joint. That is, one segment and the other segment adjacent to each other along the axial direction of the tunnel are connected via the ring joint. As the ring joint, for example, there is known a ring joint that includes a female joint configured by embedding a female metal fitting on the front end face side of each of one segments constituting an existing segment ring, and a male joint configured by embedding an anchor portion of a male metal fitting on the rear end face side of each of the other segments constituting a segment ring to be assembled in front of the existing segment ring such that a fitting body of the male metal fitting projects rearward from the rear end face of each of the other segments, and the fitting body of the male joint is fitted into a fitting recess of the female joint (see Patent Document 1). Furthermore, in shield tunneling, due to the uneven distribution of soil and water pressure from the surrounding ground, all or part of the segments constituting the existing segment ring may be slightly displaced in the radial direction of the existing segment ring. This can cause gaps or misalignments between adjacent segments along the circumferential direction of the excavation hole that constitutes the existing segment ring, and when these gaps or misalignments occur, the existing segment ring may take on a non-circular shape. Thus, if an existing segment ring becomes non-circular, it becomes impossible to connect a segment to the front of the existing segment ring via the aforementioned ring joint. For example, suppose that female connectors are provided on the front end surface of an existing segment ring at predetermined intervals along the circumferential direction of the front end surface (circumferential direction of the excavation hole), and that male connectors corresponding to the female connectors provided on the front end surface of the existing segment ring are provided on the rear end surface of each segment constituting the segment ring connected to the front of the existing segment ring, and that gaps or misalignments occur between adjacent segments along the circumferential direction of the excavation hole constituting the existing segment ring, causing the existing segment ring to exhibit a non-circular shape. In this case, the center line of the female joint provided on the front end face of the segment with the gap or misalignment in the existing segment ring will be misaligned with the center line of the fitting body of the male joint provided on the rear end face of the segment connected to the front of that segment. As a result, it will become impossible to connect the female joint and the male joint, which may lead to the problem that a segment ring cannot be connected to the front of the existing segment ring, making it impossible to construct a perfectly circular segment ring. Therefore, in order to resolve this problem, a ring joint is known that allows the position of the male joint's fitting body on the segment connected to the front of the existing segment ring to be eccentric from a specified position, in order to connect the radially offset female fitting portion of the existing segment ring with the male fitting body of the segment provided in front of the existing segment ring (see Patent Document 2). In other words, the ring joint disclosed in Patent Document 2 is configured such that the position of the fitting body (first pin 22) of the male joint, which is provided on the rear end face of a segment connected to the front of an existing segment ring, can be eccentrically positioned from a predetermined position, so as to accommodate the misalignment of the fitting portion (first insert 14) of the female joint provided on the front end face of a segment where gaps or misalignments have occurred in an existing segment ring. [0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2000-282795 [Patent Document 2] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2020-133110 [Overview of the project] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]
[0004] However, when using the conventional ring joint disclosed in Patent Document 2, first, multiple types of support members (frames 20) set with different eccentricities must be prepared as support members (frames 20) to vary the eccentricity of the male joint's mating body (first pin 22), and a support member (frame 20) having an eccentricity corresponding to the amount of displacement of the female joint's mating portion (first insert 14) provided on the front end surface of the segment where the gap or misalignment occurs must be selected. Furthermore, since the central axis of the mating body (first pin 22) is located on the circumference centered on the central axis (axis l2) of the support member (slot 20), it is necessary to adjust the position of the mating body (first pin 22) to a position where it can be fitted into the mating portion (first insert 14) of the female fitting by rotating the rotational central axis (second pin 24) of the support member (slot 20) using a tool. In other words, when using the conventional ring joint disclosed in Patent Document 2, the work becomes complicated because it requires the selection of a support member (compartment 20) and the position adjustment of the fitting body (first pin 22). In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a ring joint, etc., that allows for easy and simple connection of a segment to the front of an existing segment ring, even when the existing segment ring has become non-circular due to gaps or misalignment. [Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0007] Embodiment 1 As shown in Fig. 1(a), in a shield tunneling method for constructing a shield tunnel by advancing a shield machine (not shown) toward the front in the axial direction A of the tunnel, and sequentially assembling segment rings behind the shield machine as the shield machine advances, as shown in Fig. 1(a) and (b), a ring joint 1 according to Embodiment 1 is a ring joint for connecting one segment 10A constituting one segment ring 10R and the other segment 10B constituting the other segment ring, which are installed adjacent to each other along the axial direction A of the tunnel. In the following description, front and rear are defined as the directions shown in Fig. 1 to Fig. 3 for the explanation.
[0008] One segment 10A is a segment constituting the existing segment ring 10R, and the other segment 10B is a segment connected to the rear of the existing segment ring 10R to constitute the next segment ring.
[0009] As shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 3, the ring joint 1 is configured to include a male joint 2 provided on the front end face 10f side of one segment 10A and having an engagement body 2A protruding forward from the front end face 10f of the one segment 10A, and a female joint 3 provided on the rear end face 10r side of the other segment 10B.
[0010] As shown in Fig. 1(b) and Fig. 3(b), the female joint 3 is configured to include an engagement body insertion hole 3A that opens at the rear end face 10r of the other segment 10B and into which the engagement body 2A of the male joint 2 is inserted, a filler injection hole 3B penetrating the engagement body insertion hole 3A and the inner peripheral surface 10i of the other segment 10B, an air vent hole 3C penetrating the engagement body insertion hole 3A and the inner peripheral surface 10i of the other segment 10B, and a filler 3D filled between the engagement body 2A inserted into the engagement body insertion hole 3A and the engagement body insertion hole 3A via the filler injection hole 3B. Note that as the filler 3D, non-shrink mortar having strength equivalent to that of the segments 10A and 10B is used.
[0011] As shown in Figure 4(a), the front end surface 10f of the existing segment ring 10R, which is composed of multiple existing segments 10A, 10A..., is provided with multiple female connectors 3X, 3X... at predetermined intervals along the circumferential direction of the segment ring 10R. The female fitting 3X is constructed by embedding female fittings 30X on the arc-shaped front end surface 10f side of each segment 10A, 10A... that constitutes the segment ring 10R, and the centerlines 30C of each female fitting 30X of each female fitting 3X are located on the arc 10a of a perfect circle in the design. Furthermore, the circular arc 10a in design refers to the circular arc 10a in design centered on the ring center 10RC of the segment ring 10R, that is, the circular arc 10a passing through the midpoint between the inner surface 10i and the outer surface 10j of the segment ring 10R.
[0012] As shown in Figure 2(a), the female fitting 30X is composed of a rod-shaped body 33 having a fitting recess 34 on one end and a pull-out resistance portion 32 on the other end. The fitting recess 34 is formed by a bottomed hole that opens on one end face 31a of the rod-shaped body 33 and extends toward the other end of the rod-shaped body 33. Furthermore, the mating recess 34 can be configured in any way as long as the pin portion 25 of the male joint 2X, which will be described later, can be attached in a mating state. The female fitting 3X is constructed by embedding the female fitting 30X in the segment 10A such that one end face 31a of the rod-shaped body 33 of the female fitting 30X and the front end face 10f of the segment 10A that constitutes the existing segment ring 10R are located on the same plane, for example.
[0013] As shown in Figure 2(b), a male joint 2X is provided on the rear end surface 10r side of the segment 10B that is connected to the rear of the existing segment ring 10R. This male joint 2X is constructed by embedding a male fitting 20X equipped with a pin bolt 23 that fits into the fitting recess 34 of the female joint 3X described above.
[0014] As shown in Figure 2(b), the male fitting 20X is composed of a rod-shaped insert 22 having a threaded hole 21 at one end and a pin bolt 23 attached to the threaded hole 21 of the insert 22. The insert 22 is composed of a shaft material such as a deformed reinforcing bar that functions as an anchor with pull-out resistance to the concrete of segment 10B on its circumferential surface. The screw hole 21 is a bottomed hole that opens on one end face 22a of the insert 22 and extends toward the other end 22b of the insert 22. The pin bolt 23 is a shaft material with a circular cross-section, comprising a bolt portion 24 that is screwed into the threaded hole 21 of the insert 22, a pin portion 25 that is fitted into the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 3X, and a shaft portion 26 between the bolt portion 24 and the pin portion 25.
[0015] The male joint 2X is constructed such that the rear end surface 10r of the segment 10B, which is connected to the front of the segment 10A that constitutes the existing segment ring 10R, and one end surface (opening edge surface of the screw hole 21) 22a of the insert 22 are located on the same plane, for example, by embedding the insert 22, which functions as an anchor, on the rear end surface 10r side of the segment 10B, and by screwing the bolt portion 24 of the pin bolt 23 onto the thread 21 of the insert 22.
[0016] Then, as shown in Figure 2(c), the pin portion 25 of the male connector 2X is fitted into the fitting recess 34 of the female connector 3X, thereby forming the ring connector 1X. For example, by pushing the pin portion 25 of the male joint 2X into the fitting recess 34, the pin portion 25 is fitted into the fitting recess 34 and attached, thereby forming a ring joint 1X in which the male joint 2X and the female joint 3X are fastened together.
[0017] As shown in Figure 2(c), when using the ring joint 1X described above, the center line 30C of the fitting recess 34 of the female joint 3X provided on the front end surface 10f side of the existing segment ring 10R must coincide with the center line 23C of the pin bolt 23 of the male joint 2X of the segment 10B connected to the front of the existing segment ring 10R.
[0018] However, if the segments 10A constituting the existing segment ring 10R are slightly displaced radially to the existing segment ring 10R due to uneven soil and water pressure from the surrounding ground, misalignment 10M (see Figures 1(a) and 4(b)) or gaps (not shown) may occur between adjacent segments 10A, 10A along the circumferential direction of the segment ring 10R, causing the position of the center line 30C of the fitting recess 34 of the female joint 3X to be eccentric, shifted from the circular arc 10a described above. For example, as shown in Figure 4(b), a misalignment 10M occurs between the inner surfaces 10i, 10i of adjacent segments 10A, 10A in the circumferential direction of the segment ring 10R. In the front end surface 10f of the right-hand segment 10A in Figure 4(b), where the misalignment 10M occurs, the position of the center line 30C of the fitting recess 34 of the female joint 3X (not shown), which is located on the arc 10a according to the design, may shift to the position indicated by reference numeral 2AC in Figure 4(b), resulting in eccentricity from the perfectly circular arc 10a in the design. In this case, as shown in Figure 4(b), even if one attempts to connect the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B to the front end surfaces 10f, 10f of each circumferentially adjacent segment 10A, 10A where misalignment 10M occurs in the existing segment ring 10R, by placing the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B opposite to the front end surfaces 10f, 10f of each segment 10A, 10A, the center line 30C of the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X, which is located outside the figure and is provided on the front end surface 10f of the right-hand segment 10A and is offset from the design arc 10a, does not coincide with the center line 23C of the pin bolt 23 of the male fitting 2X provided on the rear end surface 10r side of segment 10B corresponding to the female fitting 30X. Therefore, the female fitting 3X and the male fitting 2X cannot be connected.
[0019] Therefore, in this case, the pin portion 25, which is the tip side of the pin bolt 23 shown in Figure 2(d), is fitted into the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X of the female joint 3X, which is eccentrically offset from the circular arc 10a of the female joint 3X as described above. Specifically, as shown in Figures 3(b) and 4(b), a male joint 2 is manufactured comprising the above-mentioned female fitting 30X embedded on the front end surface 10f side of the segment 10A where misalignment 10M or gapping (not shown) has occurred in the existing segment ring 10R, and an engaging body 2A which is formed by a pin bolt 23 attached to the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X and protrudes forward from the front end surface 10f of the segment 10A (see Figure 3(a)). In other words, the engaging body 2A is composed of a pin bolt 23, which is a rod-shaped body that is detachably attached to a fitting recess 34 provided on the front end surface 10f (the end surface of one segment) of the segment 10A. In other words, the male joint 2 is composed of a female fitting 30X provided on the front end surface 10f of an existing segment ring 10R which is formed by assembling segments 10A, 10A... along the circumferential direction of a borehole excavated by a shield machine, and an engaging body 2A attached to the female fitting 30X and protruding forward from the front end surface 10f of the existing segment ring 10R. In other words, the female connector 3X is used to manufacture the male connector 2. This means that the female connector 3X is replaced (converted) with the male connector 2. In this case, the engaging body 2A is composed of the bolt portion 24 and the shaft portion 26 of the pin bolt 23, which serves as the shaft material. In other words, the engaging body 2A is configured to have a bolt portion 24 as a shaft portion having a male thread on its circumferential surface that functions as an extraction resistance portion that provides resistance to the extraction of the filler material 3D.
[0020] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 1(a), on the rear end surface 10r side of the segment 10B that is connected in front of the front end surfaces 10f, 10f of each circumferentially adjacent segment 10A, 10A where misalignment 10M or gapping (not shown) has occurred in the existing segment ring 10R, an engagement member insertion hole 3A for inserting the engagement member 2A of the male joint 2 described above, as well as the filler injection hole 3B and air vent hole 3C described above, are provided. Furthermore, the segment 10B, which is equipped with the engagement body insertion hole 3A, the filler injection hole 3B, and the air vent hole 3C, can be manufactured in a factory and then transported into the shield machine.
[0021] The center line 3AC of the engaging member insertion hole 3A is configured to be located on a circular arc 10a of a design that is centered on the center of the segment ring and passes through the midpoint between the outer and inner surfaces of the segment ring, at the rear end face 10r of the segment ring where the segment 10B, which will be connected to the front of the existing segment ring 10R, will be assembled and constructed (see Figure 4(b)).
[0022] Then, as shown in Figures 1 and 3, the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2, which protrudes forward from the front end surface 10f of the segment 10A constituting the existing segment ring 10R, is inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A formed in the rear end surface 10r of the segment 10B which will be connected in front of the existing segment ring 10R. After that, a filler material 3D is injected into the engaging body insertion hole 3A through the filler material injection hole 3B, thereby forming a female joint 3 in which the filler material 3D is filled between the outer circumferential surface of the engaging body 2A and the hole wall surface of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and between the engaging body 2A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engaging body insertion hole 3A. If the existing segment ring 10R has misalignment 10M or gaps as described above, the position of the center line 2AC of the engaging body 2A inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A and the position of the center line 3AC of the engaging body insertion hole 3A will be misaligned, and the engaging body 2A, which has a male screw (bolt portion 24) that functions as an extraction resistance part, will be fixed to the filler material 3D filled in the engaging body insertion hole 3A. Furthermore, since the female fitting 3 is equipped with an air vent hole 3C, air can be vented from the filler material 3D that is filled into the engaging body insertion hole 3A. This allows the filler material 3D to be efficiently filled into the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and also increases the degree of filling of the filler material 3D. Furthermore, after segment 10B has stabilized in the ground, the engaging body 2A is fixed by filling the engaging body insertion hole 3A with filler material 3D, or the engaging body 2A is fixed by immediately filling the engaging body insertion hole 3A with filler material 3D after segment 10B has been installed. In this case, the engaging body 2A is equipped with a bolt portion 24 having a male thread that functions as a pull-out resistance part against the filler material 3D, so it is well fixed to the filler material 3D and the tensile strength against the tensile force applied to the ring joint 1 can be increased.
[0023] As described above, a ring joint 1 is formed by a male joint 2 configured on the front end surface 10f side of segment 10A, which constitutes the existing segment ring 10R, and a female joint 3 configured on the rear end surface 10r side of segment 10B, which will be connected in front of segment 10A. Specifically, after inserting the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2 into the engaging body insertion hole 3A, the ring joint 1 is formed by filling the space between the outer circumferential surface of the engaging body 2A inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A and the hole wall surface of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and between the engaging body 2A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, via the filler injection hole 3B. In other words, even if the existing segment ring 10R has misalignment 10M or gaps as described above, the ring joint 1 makes it possible to easily and simply connect the segment 10A that makes up the existing segment ring 10R with the segment 10B in front of the segment 10A. As a result, it becomes possible to construct a segment ring with high circularity by connecting multiple segments 10B, 10B in the circumferential direction in front of the existing segment ring 10R.
[0024] Furthermore, the engagement member insertion hole 3A is formed as a bottomed hole with a perfectly circular cross-section, and the diameter of the engagement member insertion hole 3A is formed to a size that allows the engagement member 2A of the male joint 2, which is eccentrically offset from the circular arc 10a of the center line 2AC, to be inserted. In other words, the amount of deviation (radial eccentricity of the segment ring) of the center line 2AC of the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2 provided on the front end surface 10f of the existing segment ring 10R from the aforementioned circular arc 10a, due to misalignment 10M or gap in the mesh, is about a few millimeters to a dozen millimeters. In other words, each segment 10A, 10A... that makes up the existing segment ring 10R is connected along the circumferential direction of the excavated hole via a segment joint (for example, a joint configured to connect via a sliding recess and protrusion), but the play in the segment joint is only a few millimeters. Therefore, due to the soil and water pressure from the surrounding ground, segment 10A may shift by several millimeters in the radial direction of segment ring 10R, resulting in misalignment 10M or gaps in the segments. Furthermore, if the segment joint is subjected to excessive soil and water pressure from the surrounding ground, it may break, causing segment 10A to shift by about 10 mm in the radial direction of segment ring 10R, resulting in misalignment or gapping. Therefore, the diameter of the engagement body insertion hole 3A can be appropriately set to a few millimeters to a dozen millimeters, which is the expected amount of displacement of the center line 2AC of the engagement body 2A of the male joint 2 provided on the front end surface 10f of the existing segment ring 10R.
[0025] For example, the engaging body insertion hole 3A is larger than the shaft diameter of the engaging body 2A, and is configured as a hole with a diameter several mm to more than ten mm larger than the shaft diameter of the engaging body 2A (a so-called oversized hole), taking into account the amount of deviation e of the center line 2AC of the engaging body 2A from the circular arc 10a described above (the radial eccentricity of the segment ring). In other words, the engaging body insertion hole 3A is configured as a hole with a diameter that is, for example, 5% to 20% larger than the shaft diameter of the bolt portion 24 and shaft portion 26 that constitute the engaging body 2A. Specifically, if the shaft diameter of the engaging body 2A is 3 mm, the diameter of the engaging body insertion hole 3A should be set to approximately 3.2 mm or 3.5 mm, and if the shaft diameter of the engaging body 2A is 4 mm, the diameter of the engaging body insertion hole 3A should be set to approximately 4.2 mm or 4.5 mm.
[0026] Next, we will explain the shield tunneling method using the ring joint 1 as the first ring joint and the ring joint 1X as the second ring joint, as described above. First, a segment ring 10R is constructed using multiple segments 10A, each having female joints 3X provided at predetermined intervals along the circumferential direction on the front end surface 10f side.
[0027] If there is no misalignment 10M between adjacent segments 10A, 10A in the existing segment ring 10R, a segment ring is constructed in front of the segment ring 10R using multiple segments 10B, each having male joints 2X provided at predetermined intervals along the circumferential direction on the rear end face 10r side. In other words, in this case, one segment 10A and the other segment 10B, which are installed adjacent to each other along the axial direction A of the tunnel, are connected by a ring joint 1X.
[0028] If misalignment 10M or gaps occur between adjacent segments 10A, 10A in the circumferential direction in the existing segment ring 10R, a male joint 2 is manufactured in which the pin portion 25 of a pin bolt 23 is attached to the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X of the female joint 3X, which is eccentric with its center line 30C offset from the circular arc 10a, and the engaging body 2A protrudes from the front end surface 10f. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 1(a), for example, a segment 10B is manufactured in a factory and equipped with an engaging body insertion hole 3A corresponding to the male joint 2, a filler injection hole 3B, and an air vent hole 3C on the rear end surface 10r side, as well as a male joint 2X corresponding to the female joint 3X. This segment 10B is then transported into the shield machine. Then, across the front end faces 10f, 10f of segments 10A, 10A where misalignment 10M or gaps have occurred, the rear end face 10r of segment 10B is placed opposite to the front end faces 10f, 10f of each segment 10A, 10A, and segments 10A, 10A and segment 10B are connected via ring joints 1X and 1 (see Figure 1(a)). In other words, the ring joint 1, as the first ring joint, is formed when, after the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2 is inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A, a filler material 3D is filled through the filler material injection hole 3B between the outer circumferential surface of the engaging body 2A inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A and the hole wall surface of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and between the engaging body 2A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engaging body insertion hole 3A. Furthermore, the second ring joint, ring joint 1X, is formed when the pin portion 25 of the pin bolt 23, which serves as the engaging body of the male joint 2X, engages with the fitting recess 34 of the female joint 3X. In this way, segment 10A, 10A and segment 10B are connected by ring joint 1 as the first ring joint and ring joint 1X as the second ring joint. Furthermore, in areas where there is no misalignment 10M or gap between adjacent segments 10A, 10A in the circumferential direction, the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B is placed in front of the front end surfaces 10f, 10f of each of these segments 10A, 10A, and segments 10A and 10B are connected via a ring joint 1X.
[0029] According to the ring joint 1X of Embodiment 1 and the shield tunneling method using the ring joint 1, even if the existing segment ring 10R becomes non-circular due to gaps or misalignment 10M, a segment 10B can be easily and simply connected in front of the existing segment ring 10R, and a segment ring with high circularity can be constructed by connecting multiple segments 10B, 10B in the circumferential direction in front of the existing segment ring 10R. In other words, the diameter of the engaging body insertion hole 3A is formed to such a size that the filler material 3D fills the space between the outer surface of the engaging body 2A and the hole wall of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and between the engaging body 2A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engaging body insertion hole 3A. Therefore, the diameter of the engaging body insertion hole 3A is formed to be several millimeters larger than the shaft diameter of the engaging body 2A, which allows for compatibility even if the position of the center line 2AC of the engaging body 2A inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A is misaligned with the position of the center line 3AC of the engaging body insertion hole 3A. Furthermore, according to the ring joint 1 of Embodiment 1, when an existing segment ring 10R becomes non-circular, the work required to connect a segment 10B to the front of the existing segment ring 10R is simply to insert the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2 into the engaging body insertion hole 3A and inject the filler material 3D into the engaging body insertion hole 3A. Therefore, according to Embodiment 1, the complicated tasks of selecting the support member (frame 20) and adjusting the position of the fitting body (first pin 22) that occur when using the ring joint described in Patent Document 2 are eliminated. As a result, the process of connecting the segment 10B to the front of the existing segment ring 10R can be performed more simply and easily compared to the case where the ring joint disclosed in Patent Document 2 is used. Furthermore, when using the conventional ring joint disclosed in Patent Document 2, multiple types of support members (frames 20) set to different eccentricities must be prepared to vary the eccentricity of the mating body (first pin 22), resulting in a large number of parts. On the other hand, when using the ring joint 1X according to Embodiment 1, the number of parts can be reduced compared to when using the conventional ring joint disclosed in Patent Document 2, thus enabling cost reduction. Furthermore, since the male joint 2 that constitutes the ring joint 1 is constructed using the same materials as the female joint 3X that constitutes the ring joint 1X and the pin bolt 23 that is part of the constituent material of the male joint 2X that constitutes the ring joint 1X, it is economical and allows the male joint 2 to be easily and quickly manufactured on site. Furthermore, the female joint 3 constituting the ring joint 1 is economical because it is a female joint with the same configuration, consisting of an engaging body insertion hole 3A, a filler injection hole 3B, an air vent hole 3C, and a filler 3D formed on the rear end surface 10r of the segment 10B. Furthermore, once the filler material 3D of ring joint 1 has hardened, the structure of ring joint 1 will be substantially almost identical to the structure of ring joint 1X, making it possible to construct a shield tunnel that is no different from the original design. In other words, as shown in Figure 3(b), the ring joint 1 can be considered as a ring joint in which a male joint is made up of a female joint 3X that constitutes the ring joint 1X and a pin bolt 23 that protrudes from the female joint 3, and the pin portion 25 of the pin bolt 23 of the male joint is fitted into the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X of the female joint 3X. Therefore, the ring joint 1 has a structure that is substantially almost the same as the structure of the ring joint 1X, and a shield tunnel can be constructed that is no different from the original design. Furthermore, the engagement member insertion hole 3A is larger than the shaft diameter of the engagement member 2A, and considering the amount of deviation e from the circular arc 10a of the center line 2AC of the engagement member 2A as described above, the hole is configured to have a diameter several mm to more than ten mm larger than the shaft diameter of the engagement member 2A, allowing for free adjustment depending on the situation during segment ring assembly. Furthermore, since ring joint 1X and ring joint 1 can be constructed without the use of special machinery, they offer excellent workability.
[0030] Embodiment 2 In Embodiment 1, an example was shown in which a ring joint 1 consisting of a male joint 2 and a female joint 3 is used when misalignment 10M or gaps occur between circumferentially adjacent segments 10A, 10A constituting an existing segment ring 10R. However, a male joint 2 may be provided on the front end face 10f side of all segments 10A, 10A... constituting the existing segment ring 10R, and an engaging body insertion hole 3A, a filler injection hole 3B, and an air vent hole 3C corresponding to the male joint 2 may be provided on the rear end face 10r side of all segments 10B, 10B... connected to the front of the existing segment ring 10R to form a segment ring. A female joint 3 may be constructed by filling the space between the engaging body 2A inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A and the hole wall surface of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and between the engaging body 2A inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engaging body insertion hole 3A. In other words, the connections between the segments 10A, 10A... that constitute the existing segment ring 10R and the segments 10B that constitute the segment ring connected in front of the existing segment ring 10R may all be made using ring joints 1, 1...
[0031] Embodiment 3 As shown in Figures 5(a) and (b), the male joint 2 may be configured using the male metal fitting 20X that constitutes the male joint 2X shown in Figure 2(b) as the engaging body 2A. Specifically, as shown in Figure 5(a), the pin portion 25 of the male fitting 20X (see Figure 2(b)), which is composed of the insert 22 and pin bolt 23 described above, is attached to the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X that constitutes the female joint 3X (see Figure 2(a)) provided on the segment 10A, thereby forming a male joint 2 having an engaging body 2A that protrudes from the front end surface 10f of the segment 10A. In other words, the engaging body 2A consists of a pin bolt 23, which is a first rod-shaped body detachably provided in a fitting recess 34 provided on the front end surface 10f (end surface of one segment) of the segment 10A, and an insert 22, which is a second rod-shaped body connected to the pin bolt 23. Then, as shown in Figure 5(b), the engaging body 2A, which is formed from the insert 22 portion of the male joint 2, is inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A formed in the rear end surface 10r of the segment 10B. After that, a filler material 3D is injected into the engaging body insertion hole 3A through the filler material injection hole 3B, so that the filler material 3D is filled between the outer circumferential surface of the engaging body 2A and the hole wall surface of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and between the engaging body 2A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engaging body insertion hole 3A, thereby forming a female joint 3. According to Embodiment 3, the male joint 2 constituting the ring joint 1 is constructed using the female joint 3X constituting the ring joint 1X and the male metal fitting 20X constituting the male joint 2X constituting the ring joint 1X as they are. This is economical and allows the male joint 2 to be easily and simply manufactured on-site. Furthermore, once the filler material 3D of ring joint 1 has hardened, the structure of ring joint 1 will be equivalent to the structure of ring joint 1X, making it possible to construct a shield tunnel that is identical to the original design.
[0032] In the embodiments described above, a male joint 2 was shown as an example in which the pin portion 25, which is the tip side of the pin bolt 23, is attached to the fitting recess 34 of the female fitting 30X of the female joint 3X, and the bolt portion 24 and shaft portion 26 of the pin bolt 23, as well as the insert 22 attached to the bolt portion 24, function as the engaging body 2A. However, the male joint 2 can have any configuration as long as it is equipped with an engaging body 2A that is inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A. For example, a male joint 2 having the same configuration as the male joint 2X shown in Figure 2(b) may be used, or a male joint 2 may be used in which a metal fitting in which the pin bolt 23 and insert 22 are integrally formed as shown in Figure 2(b) is used, with the insert 22 portion embedded in the segment 10A and the pin bolt 23 portion protruding from the front end surface 10f of the segment 10A and functioning as an engaging body 2A.
[0033] Embodiment 4 As shown in Figure 6, when connecting segment 10A and segment 10B on the top plate side of the lining, the filler injection hole 3B and air vent hole 3C face downwards. Therefore, if the filler material 3D is injected into the engaging body insertion hole 3A via the filler material injection hole 3B, there is a concern that the filler material 3D may flow out through the air vent hole 3C or between segments 10A and 10B.
[0034] Therefore, in Embodiment 4, the following preventive measures were taken to prevent the filler material 3D from flowing out through the air vents 3C or between segments 10A and 10B. First, a packing 3P was provided on the outer circumference of one end face 31a of the rod-shaped body 33 of the female metal fitting 30X that is exposed to the front end face 10f, between the front end face 10f of segment 10A and the rear end face 10r of segment 10B. The packing 3P is a component installed to prevent the filler material 3D from flowing out between the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B when the filler material 3D is injected into the engaging body insertion hole 3A. The packing 3P is, for example, configured as shown in Figure 8, with a circular opening 3R formed by removing a circular portion from the center of a rectangular, thin plate-like material made of rubber or resin. Furthermore, an air vent groove 3h is formed on the back surface 3e of the packing plate 3P, communicating with the circular opening 3R and one edge 3i of the plate. Furthermore, a plug member 3CS (see Figure 6(b)) is provided to close the opening of the air vent hole 3C when injecting the filler material 3D into the engaging body insertion hole 3A via the filler material injection hole 3B. The stopper member 3CS is a component installed to prevent the filler material 3D from flowing out of the air vent hole 3C. The stopper member 3CS comprises, for example, a rubber stopper portion 3g, a stopper (dam plate) 3s that protrudes from the tip side of the rubber stopper portion 3g, and a handle 3t. The rubber stopper portion 3g also has a through hole for air venting (not shown).
[0035] Furthermore, for the purpose of preventing water leakage, sealing members 10G are provided on the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B, respectively. Specifically, sealing members 10G are provided on the inner circumferential surface 10i side and the outer circumferential surface 10j side of the front end surface 10f of segment 10A, and sealing members 10G are provided on the inner circumferential surface 10i side and the outer circumferential surface 10j side of the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B. The sealing member 10G, provided on the inner circumferential surface 10i side of the front end surface 10f, is provided to extend in an arc shape along the arc of the inner circumferential surface 10i, reaching the left and right ends of the front end surface 10f. Similarly, the sealing member 10G provided on the outer peripheral surface 10j side of the front end surface 10f is provided so as to extend in an arc shape along the arc of the outer peripheral surface 10j and reach the left and right ends of the front end surface 10f. As shown in Figure 9, the sealing member 10G provided on the inner circumferential surface 10i side of the front end surface 10f is installed in a sealing member installation groove 10u with a concave cross-section, which extends in an arc shape along the arc of the inner circumferential surface 10i on the front end surface 10f and reaches the left and right ends of the front end surface 10f. Similarly, the sealing member 10G provided on the outer peripheral surface 10j side of the front end surface 10f is installed in a sealing member installation groove 10u with a concave cross-section, which extends in an arc shape along the arc of the outer peripheral surface 10j on the front end surface 10f and reaches the left and right ends of the front end surface 10f. The sealing member installation groove 10u is a recessed area with a concave cross-sectional shape perpendicular to the extension direction. Similarly, the sealing member 10G provided on the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B is installed within the sealing member installation groove 10u.
[0036] As shown in Figure 9, the sealing member 10G is constructed by combining, for example, low-expansion rubber 10G1 and water-expandable rubber 10G2. For example, the sealing member 10G is formed such that low-expansion rubber 10G1, 10G1 is placed on each groove edge of the sealing member installation groove 10u, and water-expandable rubber 10G2 is positioned between the low-expansion rubber 10G1, 10G1 so that the low-expansion rubber 10G1, 10G1 and the water-expandable rubber 10G2 become one integrated unit. Furthermore, the width length 10Gw of the water-swellable rubber 10G2 of the sealing member 10G (the length in the direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the sealing member 10G (the length in the vertical direction in Figure 9)) is set as follows. In other words, even if a misalignment 10M or gap occurs, causing a deviation in the center line 2AC of the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2 provided on the front end surface 10f of the existing segment ring 10R from the aforementioned circular arc 10a, the length is set such that the water-swellable rubber 10G2 of the sealing member 10G provided on the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the water-swellable rubber 10G2 of the sealing member 10G provided on the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B are in close contact and watertightness is maintained. Furthermore, the height 10Gt of the sealing member 10G is formed to be greater than the depth 10ud of the sealing member installation groove 10u. As described above, the water-swellable rubber 10G2 of the sealing member 10G provided on the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the water-swellable rubber 10G2 of the sealing member 10G provided on the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B come into close contact to form a seal portion 10C (see Figure 9).
[0037] Next, we will explain an example of a construction method. First, at the front end surface 10f of segment 10A, a packing 3P is installed on the outer circumference of one end surface 31a of the rod-shaped body 33 of the female metal fitting 30X that is exposed on the front end surface 10f. Specifically, the engaging body 2A is passed through the circular opening 3R of the packing 3P, and the back surface 3e of the packing 3P is attached to the front end surface 10f of the segment 10A by adhesive or the like. Next, the engaging body 2A of the male joint 2, which protrudes forward from the front end surface 10f of segment 10A, is inserted into the engaging body insertion hole 3A formed in the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B. Then, the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B is brought into contact with the surface 3f of packing 3P, and the sealing member 10G provided on the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the sealing member 10G provided on the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B are brought into close contact to form a sealing portion 10C. In this case, a packing 3P is interposed between the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B, so a small gap 10s corresponding to the thickness of packing 3P is formed. This gap 10s is sealed (watertightly sealed) by the sealing portions 10C, 10C formed on the inner circumferential surface 10i and outer circumferential surface 10j between the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B. Furthermore, the thickness of packing 3P, which forms the gap 10s, is set to a thickness that allows segments 10A and 10B to be properly assembled. Furthermore, the stopper (dam plate) 3s is inserted into the air vent hole 3C, and the stopper member 3CS (see Figure 6(b)) is installed so that the rubber stopper portion 3g closes the opening of the air vent hole 3C.
[0038] Subsequently, as shown by arrow I in Figure 6(b), the filler material 3D is injected into the engagement body insertion hole 3A through the filler material injection hole 3B. This filler material 3D is then used to fill the space between the outer surface of the engagement body 2A and the hole wall of the engagement body insertion hole 3A, and between the engagement body 2A and the bottom surface of the hole of the engagement body insertion hole 3A, thereby forming a female joint 3 that connects segment 10A and segment 10B via the ring joint 1. As described above, even if the existing segment ring 10R has misalignment 10M or gaps in the mesh, the ring joint 1 connects segment 10A and segment 10B.
[0039] Furthermore, when filling with filler material 3D, confirmation of the filling can be performed, for example, by controlling the amount of filler material 3D injected. In this case, air is vented from the filler material 3D that is filled into the engaging body insertion hole 3A through the groove 3h of the packing 3P and the through-hole for air venting formed in the rubber stopper portion 3g of the stopper member 3CS (not shown). In other words, when the filler 3D is injected into the engaging body insertion hole 3A via the filler injection hole 3B, the packing 3P prevents the filler 3D from flowing out into the gap 10s. Air also escapes through the groove 3h of the packing 3P into the gap 10s between the front end surface 10f of segment 10A and the rear end surface 10r of segment 10B. Additionally, air escapes through an air venting through-hole (not shown) formed in the rubber stopper portion 3g of the stopper member 3CS. In this way, the outflow of the filler material 3D into the gap 10s is suppressed, and air can be reliably removed from the filler material 3D that is filled into the engaging body insertion hole 3A. As a result, the filler material 3D can be efficiently filled into the engaging body insertion hole 3A, and the degree of filling of the filler material 3D can be increased.
[0040] According to Embodiment 4, even when the filler injection hole 3B and the air vent hole 3C are facing downwards, it is possible to prevent the filler 3D from flowing out of the air vent hole 3C or between segments 10A and 10B, and the ring joint 1 can reliably connect segment 10A and segment 10B.
[0041] Embodiment 5 In the embodiments described above, a ring joint 1 is exemplified in which a male joint 2 is provided on the front end surface 10f side of the segments 10A, 10A... that constitute the existing segment ring 10R, and a female joint 3 is provided on the rear end surface 10r side of the segments 10B, 10B... that constitute the segment ring connected in front of the existing segment ring 10R. However, a ring joint 1 may also be exemplified in which a female joint 3 is provided on the front end surface 10f side of the segments 10A, 10A... that constitute the existing segment ring 10R, and a male joint 3 is provided on the rear end surface 10r side of the segments 10B, 10B... that constitute the segment ring connected in front of the existing segment ring 10R.
[0042] Furthermore, as mentioned above, it is preferable to use non-shrink mortar having the same strength as segments 10A and 10B as the filler material 3D, but other filler materials may also be used.
[0043] Furthermore, although the female fitting 3 described above is exemplified by one with an air vent hole 3C, a female fitting 3 without an air vent hole 3C is also acceptable.
[0044] Furthermore, the ring joint according to the present invention can also be applied to ring joints that connect segments other than RC segments, such as steel segments or composite segments. [Explanation of Symbols]
