Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a mounting device and a lighting apparatus provided with the mounting device.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] In art galleries and museums, when replacing exhibits, it is necessary to adjust the position of the lighting that illuminates the exhibits. Accordingly, a method has been proposed in which a lighting apparatus is mounted on a duct rail installed on a ceiling, and the position of the lighting apparatus is adjusted by moving the lighting apparatus along the duct rail (see, for example, Patent Document 1). After moving the lighting apparatus along the duct rail to a position suitable for use, the lighting apparatus is fixed to the duct rail. When fixing the lighting apparatus to the duct rail, for example, the lighting apparatus is fixed to the duct rail by gripping the duct rail with a gripping portion of the lighting apparatus.

[Mode for Carrying Out the Invention]
[0019] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that in the following description, the drawings are schematic, and the dimensional relationships of respective elements, the ratios of respective elements, and the like may differ from reality. The drawings may also include portions where mutual dimensional relationships, ratios, and the like differ between each other. Note that in the following description, the base side of the lighting device attached to the duct rail is defined as the upper side of the lighting device, and the lamp body side that emits light is defined as the lower side of the lighting device.
[0020] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the lighting device 100 is attached to and detached from a duct rail installed on the ceiling of, for example, an art museum or museum, and the position of illumination can be changed by changing its orientation. The lighting device 100 comprises a base 10 and a lamp body 20.
[0021] As shown in Figures 1 to 3, the base 10 is located on the upper side when the lighting device 100 is attached to the duct rail on the ceiling, and comprises a housing 1, a circuit board 2, a motor (not shown), and a mounting device 4. The housing 1 is formed from a metal material with excellent thermal conductivity, such as aluminum, and is cylindrical in shape. The housing 1 comprises a cylindrical body 11, a first cover 12, and a second cover 13. Inside the cylindrical body 11 are a circuit board 2, a motor (first drive unit), and the like. At the upper end of the cylindrical body 11, a first cover 12 and a second cover 13 are provided so as to overlap with a gap between them. These covers 12 and 13 close the upper end opening of the cylindrical body 11. The covers 12 and 13 are detachably attached to the cylindrical body 11 by fasteners such as screws. The first cover 12 is provided at the upper end of the cylindrical body 11, and the second cover 13 is provided below the first cover 12 with a gap between them, parallel to the surface of the first cover 12. A hole 12a is formed in the center of the first cover 12. The hole 12a is shaped and sized so that only the insertion portion 511 of the main body portion 51 of the first mounting portion 5 of the mounting device 4 can be inserted into it. A hole 13a is formed in the center of the second cover 13. The hole 13a is shaped and sized so that only the insertion portion 511 of the main body portion 51 and the connecting portion 541 of the base portion 54 of the first mounting portion 5 of the mounting device 4, which will be described later, can be inserted.
[0022] The circuit board 2 is connected via the mounting device 4 to the duct rail so that it can be energized, and it functions as a control unit that controls the drive of each part. The circuit board 2 is installed inside the housing 1, below the second cover 13 with a gap, and parallel to the surface of the second cover 13. That is, the first cover 12, the second cover 13, and the circuit board 2 are installed parallel to each other from top to bottom in the housing 1. The motor is the driving source that rotates the housing 1 horizontally (in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the housing 1). A gear is provided on the output shaft of the motor, which meshes with a gear located in the center of the housing 1. As a result, when the motor rotates, each gear rotates, and the housing 1 rotates horizontally.
[0023] The mounting device 4 is a device for attaching the lighting device 100 to the duct rail and is provided at the upper end of the housing 1. The mounting device 4 comprises a first mounting portion 5 and a second mounting portion 6. As shown in Figures 1 to 11, the first mounting part 5 is provided on the centerline x of the lighting device 100 and is hooked onto the duct rail 200 by rotating around the centerline x in the groove 201 (Figures 14 and 15) of the duct rail 200 (Figures 14 and 15), thereby attaching the lighting device 100 to the duct rail 200. As shown in Figures 4 to 9, the first mounting portion 5 comprises a main body portion 51, a projection portion 52, a terminal portion 53, a base portion 54, and a cap portion 55. The main body portion 51 is positioned at the center of the upper surface of the first cover 12. The main body portion 51 has an insertion portion 511 that is inserted into the hole 12a of the first cover 12 and the hole 13a of the second cover 13. The insertion portion 511 is the bottom of the main body portion 51 and is formed to extend in one direction to match the shape of the holes 12a and 13a of both covers 12 and 13. When the insertion portion 511 is inserted into the holes 12a and 13a, it is designed to catch on both covers 12 and 13 when rotated 90° horizontally, preventing it from detaching from both covers 12 and 13.
[0024] A base portion 512 is integrally formed with the insertion portion 511 above it. The base portion 512 is shaped such that its horizontal cross-section cannot be inserted into the holes 12a and 13a of both covers 12 and 13. As a result, when the insertion portion 511 is inserted into the holes 12a and 13a, the base portion 512 functions as a stopper that restricts insertion into the other holes 12a and 13a of the main body portion 51. A support portion 513 is integrally formed with the base portion 512 above the base portion 512. The support portion 513 is formed to rise upward from the center of the base portion 512. The support portion 513 supports the projection portion 52. The main body portion 51 has a hole 51a (Figure 3) into which the terminal portion 53 and the cap portion 55 are inserted. The hole 51a is formed to penetrate through the insertion portion 511, the base portion 512, and the support portion 513 along the center line x of the housing 1. One end of the terminal portion 53 is hooked onto the upper edge of the hole 51a, and the other end of the terminal portion 53 is hooked onto the lower edge of the hole 51a.
[0025] As shown in Figures 4 to 9, the projection 52 is formed integrally with the support portion 513. The projection 52 is shaped to catch on the duct rail 200 when inserted into the groove 201 in the duct rail 200 and rotated 90°. The projection 52 has flat, claw-like ends that extend in opposite directions from the center of the support portion 513. The projection 52 is shaped to have a width smaller than the opening width b1 of the groove 201 of the duct rail 200, a length larger than the opening width b1 of the groove 201 of the duct rail 200, and a length smaller than the width b2 inside the duct rail 200. In other words, the projection 52 can be inserted into the duct rail 200 with the width direction of the projection 52 parallel to the width direction of the groove 201 of the duct rail 200, and by rotating the projection 52 by 90°, the length of the projection 52 becomes larger than the opening width b1 of the groove 201 of the duct rail 200, so it catches on the duct rail 200.
[0026] As shown in Figures 4 to 9, the terminal portion 53 connects the energized portion 202 of the duct rail 200 to the circuit board 2 in an energetically conductive manner. The terminal portion 53 is made of a conductive material. The terminal portion 53 is formed in a plate shape, with both ends bent at 90°. The terminal portion 53 is inserted into a hole 51a formed in the main body portion 51. One bent end of the terminal portion 53 is hooked onto the upper end surface of the support portion 513 (the upper edge of the hole 51a), and the other bent end is hooked onto the lower end surface of the insertion portion 511 (the lower edge of the hole 51a). Two terminal sections 53 are provided on the main body 51, and their respective ends are positioned so that they extend in opposite directions from the center of the main body 51. The terminal sections 53 extend outward from the support section 513, and their width is formed to be smaller than the opening width b1 of the groove 201 of the duct rail 200, so that they can be inserted into the duct rail 200 together with the projection 52. That is, the terminal section 53 can be inserted into the duct rail 200 with the width direction of the groove 201 of the duct rail 200 and the width direction of the terminal section 53 parallel, and by rotating the terminal section 53 by 90°, it comes into contact with the energized section 202 of the duct rail 200 (Figure 11). In other words, the terminal section 53 comes into contact with the energized section 202 with the projection 52 hooked onto the duct rail 200. The other end (lower end) of the terminal portion 53 is electrically connected to the circuit board 2 and is fixed together with the circuit board 2 to the insertion portion 511 of the main body portion 51 by a screw 531 made of a conductive material.
[0027] As shown in Figures 4 to 9, the base portion 54 sandwiches the first cover 12 and the second cover 13 between itself and the main body portion 51, thereby fixing the main body portion 51 to both covers 12 and 13. The base portion 54 has a connecting portion 541 that is connected to the main body portion 51 via the cap portion 55. The connecting portion 541 is formed in the center of the base portion 54 and is connected to the main body portion 51 and the cap portion 55 by a screw 541b and a nut 541c. The connecting portion 541 is positioned coaxially with the center of the main body portion 51. The connecting portion 541 has a hole 541a through which 541b passes. The connecting portion 541 is formed to be sized and shaped so that it can be inserted into both covers 12, 13 and the circuit board 2. Above the connecting portion 541, a housing portion 542 is integrally formed with the connecting portion 541 to accommodate the insertion portion 511 of the main body portion 51. The housing portion 542 has a recess formed to match the shape of the insertion portion 511, and the bottom of the housing portion 542 is formed to penetrate from the top surface to the bottom surface. The housing portion 542 is formed to be the size and shape to be inserted into the hole 13a of the second cover 13. Above the housing portion 542, a stopper portion 543 is formed that extends outward beyond the outer edge of the housing portion 542. The stopper portion 543 is sized and shaped so that it cannot be inserted into the hole 12a of the first cover 12 and the hole 13a of the second cover 13. As a result, when the main body portion 51 and the base portion 54 are connected, the lower surface of the stopper portion 543 is in contact with the upper surface of the second cover 13, and the upper surface of the stopper portion 543 is in contact with the lower surface of the first cover 12. The stopper portion 543 has a hole that penetrates from the top to the bottom surface so that the insertion portion 511 of the main body portion 51 can be inserted, and this hole is in communication with the housing portion 542.
[0028] As shown in Figure 3, the cap portion 55 is located at the center of the main body portion 51. The cap portion 55 has a shaft portion 551 through which a screw 541b passes. The shaft portion 551 is the part that is inserted into the hole 51a of the main body portion 51, and is attached to the main body portion 51 such that the center of the shaft portion 551 is coaxial with the center of the main body portion 51. The shaft portion 551 has a hole 551a through which the screw 541b passes, and is attached to the main body portion 51 such that this hole 551a is coaxial with the hole 541a of the connecting portion 541 of the base portion 54. A head 552, with a larger cross-section than the shaft 551, is integrally formed with the upper end of the shaft 551. The head 552 is positioned by contacting the upper end of the support portion 513 of the main body 51. The head 552 has a hole 552a formed coaxially with the hole 551a of the shaft 551 through which a screw 541b passes, and the upper end of the hole 552a is widened to serve as a base for the nut 541c. As a result, the connecting portion 541 and the cap portion 55 of the base portion 54 are arranged side by side in the vertical direction, and the connecting portion 541 and the cap portion 55 are connected by inserting the screw 541b through the hole 541a of the connecting portion 541 and attaching the nut 541c to the screw 541b through the hole 552a of the cap portion 55.
[0029] As shown in Figures 1 to 3 and Figures 12 to 16, the second mounting portion 6 is provided on a rotational trajectory around the centerline x of the lighting device 100, and together with the first mounting portion 5, it is hooked onto the duct rail 200 by the rotation of the first mounting portion 5, thereby attaching the lighting device 100 to the duct rail 200. Specifically, the second mounting portion 6 is provided on the outer edge of the cylindrical housing 1. As shown in Figures 12 to 16, the second mounting portion 6 includes a support portion 61, a sliding portion 62, a biasing portion 63, and a hook portion 64. The support portion 61 is attached to the first cover 12 by screws or the like. The support portion 61 has a housing portion 611 that supports the slide portion 62 so that it can reciprocate along a line parallel to the center line x of the housing 1. The housing portion 611 is the space sandwiched between the support portion 61 and the cylindrical body 11, and a part of the slide portion 62 slides within the housing portion 611. A projection 612 is formed at the bottom of the housing 611, to which one end of a biasing part 63, such as a coil spring, is attached. Therefore, the biasing part 63 is located inside the housing 611. A shaft portion 613 is formed in the wall of the housing portion 611, into which the base end of the hook portion 64 is fitted. The base end of the hook portion 64 is fitted into the shaft portion 613, and the hook portion 64 is provided to rotate around the shaft portion 613.
[0030] The sliding portion 62 is capable of reciprocating along a line parallel to the centerline x of the housing 1, and a portion of it is provided within the housing portion 611. The sliding portion 62 is located within the housing portion 611 and has a receiving portion 621 into which the other end of the biasing portion 63 makes contact. Here, since the support portion 61 is fixed to the housing 1, the receiving portion 621 is always biased upward by the biasing portion 63, and consequently, the sliding portion 62 is always biased upward by the biasing portion 63. A portion of the receiving portion 621 is in contact with the first cover 12 while being biased by the biasing portion 63, and the first cover 12 functions as a stopper to prevent the sliding portion 62 from coming out. The sliding portion 62 has a guide portion 622 above the receiving portion 621. The guide portion 622 rotates the hook portion 64 around the shaft portion 613 due to the change in position caused by the sliding movement of the sliding portion 62, and is inserted into an elongated hole 642 formed in the hook portion 64. The sliding portion 62 has an operating portion 623 to which external force is applied during operation. The operating portion 623 is integrally formed with the receiving portion 621 and is positioned to be exposed on the outside of the housing 1. The surface of the operating portion 623 has a textured surface to increase friction with the finger. The sliding portion 62 has a contact portion 624 that protrudes upward. The contact portion 624 is housed in the groove 201 of the duct rail 200 when the second mounting portion 6 is attached to the duct rail 200. The contact portion 624 has an inclined surface 624a on the front side in the rotational direction when the second mounting portion 6 is attached to the duct rail 200. The inclined surface 624a is the part that first contacts the duct rail 200, and the duct rail 200 moves relatively along the inclined surface 624a, allowing the sliding portion 62 to move smoothly downward. On the other hand, the contact portion 624 has an upright surface 624b on the rear side in the rotational direction when the second mounting portion 6 is attached to the duct rail 200. The upright surface 624b functions as a stopper that, after the contact portion 624 is fitted into the duct rail 200, contacts the duct rail 200 from the front when a force is applied to rotate the second mounting portion 6 in the opposite direction, thereby restricting the rotation of the second mounting portion 6.
[0031] The biasing portion 63 is formed, for example, from a coil spring, and as described above, one end (lower end) is fitted into the projection 612 of the support portion 61, and the other end (upper end) abuts against the receiving portion 621 of the slide portion 62. The biasing portion 63 is in contact with the receiving portion 621 of the slide portion 62 in a contracted state shorter than its natural length, and the slide portion 62 is in its uppermost position, with the receiving portion 621 being pushed upward by the biasing portion 63. When the second mounting portion 6 is attached to the duct rail 200, the hook portion 64 is housed in the groove 201 of the duct rail 200 and hooked onto the support portion 203 of the duct rail 200, thereby restricting further rotation of the second mounting portion 6. The hook portion 64 has a hole 641 formed at its base end, into which the shaft portion 613 is inserted and rotatably attached. The hook portion 64 has an elongated hole 642 formed near its midpoint in the longitudinal direction, into which the guide portion 622 of the slide portion 62 is inserted. As a result, when the slide portion 62 slides vertically, the guide portion 622 also moves along the vertical direction, and the hook portion 64 rotates around the shaft portion 613. At this time, the hook portion 64 moves between a position where it catches on the support portion 203 of the duct rail 200 and a position where it does not catch on it due to the reciprocating movement of the slide portion 62. The hook portion 64 has a hook portion 643 formed at its tip, which is designed to catch in the groove 201 of the duct rail 200. The hook portion 643 has an inclined surface 643a on the front side in the rotational direction when the second mounting portion 6 is attached to the duct rail 200. The inclined surface 643a is the part that first contacts the duct rail 200, and the duct rail 200 moves relatively along the inclined surface 643a, allowing the hook portion 643 to move smoothly in the direction of retraction from the duct rail 200. The inclined surface 643a extends almost parallel to the inclined surface 624a of the contact portion 624 and is positioned at almost the same height.
[0032] The light fixture unit 20 is located on the lower side when the lighting device 100 is attached to the duct rail 200 on the ceiling, and comprises a housing 21 and an arm unit 22. The housing 21 is formed from a metal material with excellent thermal conductivity, such as aluminum, and is formed in a cylindrical shape. The housing 21 contains a cover 211, a circuit board, a motor (second drive unit), a light source, a lens, and the like. The arm section 22 connects the base section 10 and the light unit section 20. The motor is the drive source that tilts the housing 21 vertically (in the axial direction of the housing 21). A gear is provided on the output shaft of the motor and meshes with an arc-shaped gear formed on the arm section 22. As a result, when the motor rotates, the motor's gear, which is fixed to the housing 21, rotates and moves along the gear on the arm section 22, causing the housing 21 to tilt vertically. This also tilts the light source and lens of the housing 21, allowing the illumination position to be changed.
[0033] Next, I will explain the Duct Rail 200. As shown in Figures 10, 11, and 16, the duct rail 200 is formed in a roughly C-shape in cross-section. Specifically, the duct rail 200 has a rectangular frame, and the lower side (the side facing the surface to which it is attached to the ceiling) is cut out along the longitudinal direction to form a groove 201. The groove 201 is formed such that the opening width b1 is smaller than the width b2 inside the groove 201. The opening width b1 is formed to be larger than the width of the projection 52, terminal portion 53, and support portion 513 of the first mounting portion 5, and the width of the contact portion 624 and hook portion 64 of the sliding portion 62 of the second mounting portion 6. The width b2 is formed to be larger than the length of the projection 52, terminal portion 53, and support portion 513 which are perpendicular to the width direction of the first mounting portion 5. After being rotated 90°, the projection 52 is housed in the groove 201 with a width of b2 and is prevented from coming out of the opening of the groove 201. In other words, the lower surface portion of the duct rail 200 that forms the opening of the groove 201 is the support portion 203 for the projection 52 and the hook portion 64. Within the groove 201, two energizing sections 202 are provided at opposing positions near the center in the height direction. The energizing sections 202 are provided along the length direction of the duct rail 200. The spacing b3 between the energizing sections 202 is formed to be greater than the opening width b1 and less than the width b2. The width b3 is formed to be approximately equal to the length of the terminal portion 53 perpendicular to the width direction in the first mounting portion 5, so that the terminal portion 53 comes into contact with the energized portion 202 after the terminal portion 53 has been rotated 90°.
[0034] Next, the operation of the mounting device 4 when attaching the lighting device 100 to the duct rail 200 will be explained. When attaching the lighting device 100 to the duct rail 200, the mounting device 4 provided at the upper end of the lighting device 100 is fitted into the duct rail 200. Specifically, the projection 52 and terminal 53 of the first mounting portion 5 of the mounting device 4 are inserted into the groove 201 of the duct rail 200. After inserting the projection 52 and terminal 53 into the groove 201, the lighting device 100 is rotated 90° around the center line x. By rotating the lighting device 100 90°, the projection 52 and terminal 53 also rotate 90°, the projection 52 catches on the support portion (lower surface portion) 203 of the duct rail 200, and the terminal 53 contacts the energized portion 202 of the duct rail 200. As a result, the first mounting portion 5 is attached to the duct rail 200, current flows from the energized portion 202 to the circuit board 2 via the terminal 53, enabling light irradiation from the light source, rotation of the base portion 10 along the horizontal direction by driving each motor, and tilting of the light body portion 20. Furthermore, when the first mounting portion 5 is attached to the duct rail 200, rotating the first mounting portion 5 by 90° causes the second mounting portion 6 to also rotate by 90° along the rotational trajectory of the housing 1. The inclined surface 624a of the contact portion 624 of the slide portion 62 comes into contact with the side surface of the duct rail 200, and the slide portion 62 moves downward against the biasing force of the biasing portion 63, pushed by the duct rail 200. As the slide portion 62 moves downward, the guide portion 622 of the slide portion 62 also moves downward, and the hook portion 64 into which the guide portion 622 is fitted in the elongated hole 642 rotates around the shaft portion 613 of the support portion 61, moving away from the duct rail 200. After avoiding the side surface of the duct rail 200, when the second mounting portion 6 moves to below the groove 201, the pressure on the slide portion 62 by the duct rail 200 is released. As a result, the sliding portion 62 moves upward due to the biasing force of the biasing portion 63 and fits into the groove 201. Furthermore, the hook portion 64 also moves together with the sliding portion 62, and the hook portion 643 catches on the support portion 203 of the duct rail 200. Thus, the second mounting portion 6 is attached to the duct rail 200. In other words, by rotating the lighting device 100 by 90°, the first mounting part 5 and the second mounting part 6 can be attached to the duct rail 200.
[0035] As described above, since the lighting device 100 is equipped with a first mounting portion 5, the lighting device 100 can be easily attached to the duct rail 200 simply by inserting the first mounting portion 5 into the groove 201 of the duct rail 200 and rotating it. Furthermore, since the lighting device 100 is equipped with a second mounting portion 6, the lighting device 100 can be attached to the duct rail 200 in two places, and even if a problem occurs with one mounting portion, the lighting device 100 can be supported by the other mounting portion, thereby greatly reducing the risk of it falling. Furthermore, when removing the lighting device 100 from the duct rail 200, the operating part 623 of the second mounting part 6 is operated to move the sliding part 62 downward to release the lock state of the second mounting part 6, and the lighting device 100 is rotated to release the lock state of the first mounting part 5, thereby allowing the lighting device 100 to be removed from the duct rail 200 with simple operation. Furthermore, by rotating the lighting device 100 by 90°, the first mounting part 5 and the second mounting part 6 can be attached to the duct rail 200 simultaneously, thus simplifying the installation process. Furthermore, by arranging the projection 52 and terminal 53 of the first mounting portion 5 in parallel, the projection 52 can be hooked onto the duct rail and the terminal 53 can make contact with the energized portion 202 simultaneously in a single operation, eliminating the need for separate work. Furthermore, the main body portion 51 of the first mounting portion 5 allows the first cover 12 to be easily hooked onto the main body portion 51 simply by inserting it into the hole 12a of the first cover 12 and rotating it. Furthermore, the first mounting portion 5 includes a base portion 54, which allows the circuit board 2 and covers 12 and 13 to be fixed in place by being sandwiched between the main body portion 51 and the base portion 54, thereby making the connection between the mounting device 4 and the housing 1 stronger. In addition, the rotation of the main body portion 51 can be restricted by the base portion 54, which prevents the main body portion 51 from detaching from the covers 12 and 13. Furthermore, since the main body 51 is connected to the base 54 by a screw 541b using the cap 55, rotation is restricted and it can be prevented from coming off the duct rail 200. Furthermore, since the terminal portion 53 is connected to the circuit board 2 and the main body portion 51 by screws 531, even if the screws 541b connecting the main body portion 51 and the base portion 54 become loose, the connection between the terminal portion 53 and the circuit board 2 can be maintained while the connection between the base portion 54 and the main body portion 51 can be maintained, preventing it from coming off the duct rail 200.
[0036] <Other> Although preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but includes all aspects included in the concept and claims of the present invention. Furthermore, each component may be selectively combined as appropriate to achieve at least some of the problems and effects described above. In addition, for example, the shape, material, arrangement, size, etc. of each component in the above embodiments may be appropriately changed depending on the specific use of the present invention. For example, the first mounting portion 5 is provided on the center line x of the lighting device 100, but by providing the first mounting portion 5 on the center of gravity line of the lighting device 100, the lighting device 100 can be attached to the duct rail 200 in a more stable state. Therefore, it is preferable to arrange each component so that the center of gravity of the lighting device 100 coincides with the center of the lighting device 100. The second mounting portion 6 is not limited to one; for example, it may be provided on the outer edge of the housing 1 at positions opposite the first mounting portion 5. This allows the lighting device 100 to be supported by the duct rail 200 at three points, enabling the lighting device 100 to be attached to the duct rail 200 in a more stable state.
