Abstract

[Problem] To provide a sash where the decorative part of the sash takes the same shape when tied, regardless of body shape. [Solution] It consists of the obi body, obi clasp, and obi ornament. The size is the same as the standard length and width of a half-width obi, the size of the obi ornament is constant, and the obi body is wide, ranging from 180.0 to 196.0 cm. The obi ornament can be customized with plain or embroidered designs. A buckle-equipped obi cord is used to securely attach the obi ornament. The buckle and metal fittings are fastened in a place hidden by the obi. The obi cord should be wide enough (0.5 to 2.0 cm) to pass through the buckle's metal fittings. Decorations can also be added to the front side, using products such as plastic, glass, or ceramics.

Description

Technical Field

[0001] The decorative part of the belt assumes the same shape when tied regardless of the body shape. The belt main body (Figure 1-1) is wrapped around the body twice or three times, and fixed with two clips each on the upper and lower sides (4 clips in total). The belt fastener (Figure 1-2) is wrapped around the main body and fastened with snap buttons. The hook-and-loop fastener on the belt fastener (Figure 1-2) is overlapped with the back surface of the belt decorative ribbon part (back of Figure 1-3). The front and back sides of the belt main body and the belt decorative ribbon part are made of the same fabric and color. The belt main body has a width of 16.0 to 17.0 cm and a length of 180.0 to 196.0 cm. The belt decorative part has a width of approximately 39.0 to 40.0 cm and a length of approximately 16.0 to 17.0 cm.

[0002] Cutting and Belt Main Body When using a fabric with a width of 155.0 cm and a length of 220.0 cm, the fabric is divided into three sections of approximately 51.5 cm, approximately 52.0 cm, and approximately 51.5 cm for cutting. Since the two end strips do not fray due to the properties of the fabric, no folded-back portion is required. A seam allowance of 1.0 to 1.5 cm is secured at the left and right ends. The total fabric actually used for one belt is 2 strips in total, namely 1 strip A and 1 strip B (or 1 strip C). Hereinafter, 1 strip A and 1 strip B are used, where A serves as the belt main body, and B serves as the belt fastener and the belt decorative part. To seal the fabric, hemming tape (width 3.0 cm) for lining is used. Fold A-d inward, overlap it on A-c, and fix the hemming tape at the boundary with A-b using an iron. Next, fold A-a inward and fix the hemming tape with an iron. Fold A-b' and A-c' together to form a single piece. One of the long portions is formed as a loop, and the other three portions are sealed. The seam is sewn at a position 0.2 cm from the edge with a U-shaped overcast stitch at a width of 0.7 cm using thread of the same color. At the corner portions, the fabric has four layers over a length of 1.0 to 1.5 cm, so sewing is performed in two layers at each of the two locations. The belt main body part is completed.

[0003] Belt Fastener Part Divide B into three parts as shown in (Figure 3-2): the obi clasp part, the obi decorative ribbon part, and the obi decorative obi wrap part. Make them 54.0cm, 82.0cm, and 82.0cm respectively (including seam allowances). (Figure 3-3) When the obi clasp is made of two layers, (Figure 3-3-1) attach a concave snap button to the front part 1.5cm from the edge. When the hook-and-loop fastener (for sewing, 10.0cm x 10.0cm) is folded in thirds, sew it with a sewing machine 1.5cm from the top and 3.0-3.5cm from the left and right edges. (Figure 3-3-2) Sew a convex snap button onto the back side, 1.5 cm from the edge. Place the front and back sides together and sew a U-shaped stitch. When folded, it will become a obi clip (Figure 3-3-3) approximately 16.0-17.0 cm wide and 17.0-18.0 cm long.

[0004] Obi ornament obi ribbon part The width is 16.0-17.0 cm and the length is 82.0 cm (Figure 4-1-1). As in Figure 3-1, fold 1.0-1.5 cm inward and secure with an iron using thin fabric hem tape. Fold the three corners 0.2 cm from the edge with a 0.7 cm wide slip stitch to a length of 39.0-40.0 cm so that it opens like a double door (Figure 4-1-2). The double-layered side will be on the outside. Close the edges with a zigzag stitch using thread of the same color (Figure 4-1-3). The number of stitches on one side should be about 25-28. Close the inside in the same way with a zigzag stitch using thread of the same color. (Figure 4-1-4) Mark points 13.0 cm from the edge of the front part, and 4.0 cm from the top and bottom. Mark points in the center of the top and bottom marks (a total of 6 points). Sew five times using two strands of thread of the same color as the fabric, 0.8 cm above and below the marks, so that the right side is folded in a mountain shape, and gather the fabric in 6 places on top (Figure 4-1-5). Sew five stitches in the center of the inside of the folded-over sections on both the left and right ends to create gathers. Place a terrycloth cushion (approximately 2.0 cm thick) inside the part where the obi will be wrapped, cover it with white fabric, and secure it with adhesive hook-and-loop fasteners (Figure 4-1-6).

[0005] Obi ornament Obi wrapping part Sew a U-shaped whip stitch 0.2 cm from the edge and 0.7 mm wide at three corners of a piece measuring 16.0-17.0 cm wide and approximately 82.0 cm long (including seam allowance) (Figure 5-1-1). Turn the double-layered side outwards. If adding decorations, sew a lace motif or similar with thread of the same color 14.0 cm from the edge (Figure 5-1-2). Sew the convex side of the double-sided fastener with the same color using a sewing machine, 1.5 cm from the same edge and 3.0-3.5 cm from both the left and right edges. Attach the adhesive hook-and-loop fastener (10.0 x 10.0 cm, either male or female) 4.0 cm from the opposite edge and 3.0-3.5 cm from both the left and right edges. To ensure the material is rolled up correctly, attach a hook-and-loop fastener (10.0 x 10.0 cm, either side can be used) 36.0-37.0 cm from the edge. When wrapping it around the obi ribbon, wrap it so that 1.5 cm of the end protrudes from the back of the obi ribbon. Stitch the finished end vertically at 0.7 cm intervals.

[0006] Obi sash with buckle Secure the obi clasp (Figure 1-2) and (back of Figure 1-3) by attaching them together with hook-and-loop fasteners. Thread a pre-made obi sash through the buckle to create an obi sash with a buckle (Figure 6-1), then thread it through the decorative part of the obi (back of Figure 1-3) and tie the obi itself.
