Abstract

To provide a higher-speed vessel that utilizes a different type of engine, not simply an extension of previous designs. [Solution] A rocket engine-equipped vessel is provided, comprising a body portion, a rocket engine connected to the body portion and capable of being placed underwater, and a cylindrical portion connected to the rocket engine, wherein the cylindrical portion is connected to the rocket engine at one end of its longitudinal portion along the direction of travel of the vessel such that the combustion gas injection portion of the rocket engine is located inside, and has an opening at the other end.
