Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a building utilizing radiant heat. More specifically, the present invention relates to a building utilizing radiant heat that is capable of rapidly changing the temperature and the like in a living room by supplying air through a duct in addition to using radiant heat.

Background Art

[0002] In Japan, the government is promoting the construction of energy-saving houses. This is because heating and cooling accounts for approximately 30% of household energy consumption, and the purpose is to curb this consumption. Specifically, energy-saving houses realize "heat insulation" and "sunlight shielding", whereby in winter, it is possible to achieve "a house where warm air inside the rooms does not escape and the room temperature within and between rooms is substantially uniform" and "a house where even the bathroom and toilet on the north side are not cold and no condensation occurs", and in summer, it is possible to achieve "a cool house that does not let in hot air from the outside" and "a house where even a small air conditioner works effectively and has good ventilation in the morning and evening". This energy-saving house can be regarded as a "comfortable house" for its residents.

[0003] As one of such energy-saving houses, the buildings utilizing radiant heat described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 can be cited. These buildings have a heat insulating space inside, supply air-conditioned air around the living rooms in the heat insulating space, and control the interior of the living rooms to a constant temperature by radiant heat from the constituent elements of the living rooms. Further, Patent Document 2 discloses a building that is capable of supplying temperature-adjusted air to a plurality of living rooms through ducts in addition to utilizing radiant heat. This supplied air makes it possible to cope with situations where the temperature of the living room to which the air is supplied is rapidly changed.

Patent Document 2

[0005] However, the fan described in Patent Document 2 is a rotating body, and therefore its operation generates vibration and noise, which can cause discomfort to residents of the building. In particular, energy-efficient homes often require high airtightness in addition to insulation and solar shading, which makes residents sensitive to vibrations and noises that they previously didn't notice. In response to this, as disclosed in Figure 10B of Patent Document 2, vibrations and noise are suppressed by installing a fan in the ceiling cavity of the second floor, and by installing a wooden frame in the fan opening or fixing the wooden frame with vibration-damping suspension devices. However, there is a problem in that these measures may not adequately suppress vibration and noise.

[0006] In view of the above circumstances, the present invention aims to provide a radiant heat-utilizing building that utilizes radiant heat and is equipped with a fan that supplies temperature-controlled air, and that can suppress vibrations and noise generated by the fan. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The radiant heat utilization building of the first invention is provided with an insulating element for forming an insulating space insulated from the outside air, a living room formed in the insulating space, a space through which air can pass, provided between the insulating element and the living room or between the living rooms, and an air conditioning system for adjusting the temperature of the air, wherein the temperature of the living room is adjusted by radiant heat from the components of the living room, and the air conditioning system is provided in an air conditioning room, which is one of the living rooms, and the air conditioning room is provided with a fan for sending temperature-adjusted air from the air conditioning room to other living rooms through a duct, and a fan fixing shelf for mounting multiple fans, wherein the opening of the fan faces downward and the end of the opening is fixed to the fan fixing shelf. The radiant heat utilization building of the second invention is characterized in that, in the first invention, the air conditioning equipment is a wall-mounted air conditioning unit, and the fan fixing shelf is provided below the wall-mounted air conditioning unit along the wall on which the wall-mounted air conditioning unit is mounted in the room for the air conditioning unit. The third invention, a building utilizing radiant heat, is characterized in that, in the first invention, the room for the air conditioning equipment is located on the same floor as other rooms, and the room for the air conditioning equipment is equipped with soundproofing. The fourth invention, a building utilizing radiant heat, is characterized in that, in the first invention, the room for the air conditioning equipment is located either above or below the stairs leading to the floor where the room for the air conditioning equipment is located. The fifth invention, a building utilizing radiant heat, is characterized in that, in the first invention, a control device for turning the fan on and off is provided, and the control device does not activate the function to turn on the fan during a predetermined start time and end time. [Effects of the Invention]

[0008] According to the first invention, a fan is provided in a room for air conditioning equipment to supply temperature-controlled air through a duct, and the opening of this fan faces downward, and the end of the opening is fixed to a fan fixing shelf, thereby suppressing vibrations generated by the fan. According to the second invention, the air conditioning equipment is a wall-mounted air conditioning system, and the fan fixing shelf is provided below it along the wall on which the air conditioning equipment is installed. This makes it possible to make the temperature of the air supplied to multiple fans relatively uniform, and to keep the temperature change constant when rapidly changing the temperature of a living space. According to the third invention, by providing soundproofing equipment in the room for the air conditioning equipment, noise generated from the fan can be suppressed even if the room for the air conditioning equipment is located on a floor where other rooms exist. Furthermore, when the room for the air conditioning equipment is located on a floor where other rooms exist, the distance of the duct is shortened when rapidly changing the temperature of the room, so the rate of temperature change can be increased. According to the fourth invention, by having the rooms for air conditioning equipment located above and below the stairs, it is possible to suppress the creation of wasted space within the building. According to the fifth invention, a control device for turning the fan on and off is provided, and by preventing the control device from activating the function to turn on the fan for a predetermined time, it is possible to prevent the fan from operating at night or other times, and to prevent vibration and noise from being generated by the fan in quiet environments. [0010] Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the drawings. However, the embodiments shown below are illustrative examples of radiant heat utilization buildings that embody the technical concept of the present invention, and the present invention does not limit radiant heat utilization buildings to the following. Note that the size or positional relationship of the members shown in each drawing may be exaggerated for the sake of clarity in the explanation.

[0011] (Embodiment) Figure 2 is a schematic cross-sectional view from the front of a detached house 10, which is a building utilizing radiant heat according to an embodiment of the present invention. The arrows in Figure 2 indicate the direction of airflow.

[0012] The detached house 10 is an insulated space in which the entire house is insulated from the outside air by multiple insulating elements that make up the exterior walls, etc. Here, an insulated space means a space that is less affected by external temperatures by using insulating elements such as insulating materials, and does not mean a space that is strictly insulated from the external temperature. Multiple insulating elements include, for example, wall insulation material 11a used in the exterior walls, foundation insulation material 11b used in the floor, and roof insulation material 11c used in the roof. Other examples include glass doors that have insulating properties. In this embodiment, the foundation insulation material 11b is a combination of the foundation concrete and the insulation material.

[0013] In Figure 2, the entire detached house 10 is an insulated space, but this is not the only example. For example, even if only a part of the house is not an insulated space, it still falls under the category of a radiant heat utilization building according to the present invention.

[0014] Multiple living rooms 16 are provided within the insulated space of the detached house 10. In this embodiment, five living rooms 16 are provided, with two living rooms 16 on the first floor and three living rooms 16 on the second floor. One of the living rooms 16 on the second floor is a living room 16a for air conditioning equipment, which will be described later. These living rooms 16 are composed of interior walls 30, interior floors 31, and interior ceilings 32 (see Figures 3 and 4).

[0015] As shown in Figure 2, in the present embodiment, a space 12 is provided between a living room 16 and a wall heat insulating material 11a which is a heat insulating element. This space 12 allows the air located outside the living room 16 within the heat insulating space to communicate vertically. Figure 3 shows a partially enlarged view of the intersection of the floor and wall of the living room 16 of the detached house 10 which is a building utilizing radiant heat according to the present embodiment. Parts of the living room inner wall 30 and the living room inner floor 31 in the figure are not displayed. For example, as shown in Figure 3, the space 12 exists between the wall heat insulating material 11a supported by the outer wall support 34 and the living room inner wall 30 constituting the living room 16. This space 12 communicates with the underfloor space 18. In addition, the living room inner wall 30 is supported by a plurality of inner wall supports 33.

[0016] In addition, in the present embodiment, as shown in Figure 2, spaces 12 are provided between the three living rooms 16 located on the second floor, between the two living rooms 16 located on the first floor, or between the living room 16 on the second floor and the living room 16 on the first floor. These spaces 12 can also allow the air outside the living rooms 16 to communicate vertically.

[0017] In the present embodiment, the outermost outer wall 24 is provided further outside the wall heat insulating material 11a, and an air layer 25 is provided between the wall heat insulating material 11a and the outermost outer wall 24. Similarly, the outermost outer wall 24 is provided further outside the roof heat insulating material 11c, and an air layer 25 is provided between the roof heat insulating material 11c and the outermost outer wall 24. The presence of this outermost outer wall 24 can prevent direct sunlight from hitting the heat insulating element, and the warmed air flows from bottom to top in the air layer 25, so that the temperature of the air outside the heat insulating element does not rise excessively.

[0018] In the present embodiment, the air conditioning equipment 13 is provided in the living room 16a for air conditioning equipment, which is one of the living rooms 16. The air conditioning equipment 13 has both cooling and heating functions.

[0019] In this embodiment, a ventilation system 15 with a heat exchange function is provided in the underfloor space 18 located below the insulated space. The heat exchange function can be of the sensible heat exchange type or the total heat exchange type, and either method is acceptable. The heat exchange function of the total heat exchange type is achieved by a total heat exchange element consisting of heat transfer plates that have gas shielding and moisture permeability properties. Fresh outside air and polluted indoor air are introduced into this total heat exchange element. Heat transfer plates are stacked inside the total heat exchange element, and heat and humidity are exchanged through the heat transfer plates. As a result, the heat and humidity of the indoor air are transferred to the fresh outside air before it flows out, so fresh air flows out of the total heat exchange element into the room. At this time, polluted indoor air flows out to the outside.

[0020] In this embodiment, the air temperature in the space 12 is adjusted by the air conditioning equipment 13. Then, the temperature inside the living room 16 is controlled by the radiant heat from the components that make up the living room 16, namely the living room walls 30, the living room floor 31, and the living room ceiling 32, using this temperature-adjusted air.

[0021] Figure 1 shows a cross-sectional view from the side of the air conditioning room 16a according to this embodiment. The air conditioning room 16a, which constitutes the detached house 10 according to this embodiment, is equipped with multiple fans 21 for supplying temperature-controlled air to the other rooms 16 through ducts 20. The number of fans 21 and the number of ducts 20 are determined by the configuration of the detached house 10. In this embodiment, there are five fans 21 and five ducts 20 corresponding to each fan 21.

[0022] In this embodiment, the fan 21 is fixed to a fan fixing shelf 22 for mounting multiple fans 21. The fan fixing shelf 22 is composed of multiple beams 22a and multiple columns 22b. In the detached house 10 according to this embodiment, the components of the fan fixing shelf 22 are made of wood. However, it is not limited to this, and it is also acceptable if it is made of steel.

[0023] In this embodiment, all of the fans 21 have openings facing downwards for taking in temperature-controlled air. "Downward" does not strictly mean the lower side in the vertical direction; it is acceptable as long as the fan can draw in air from below the opening. In addition, in the detached house 10 according to this embodiment, the ends of the openings of all the fans 21 are fixed to the fan fixing shelf 22. Specifically, the ends of the openings of the fans 21 are fixed to the beam 22a that constitutes the fan fixing shelf 22 with bolts and nuts.

[0024] In the air-conditioned room 16a, a fan 21 is provided to supply temperature-controlled air through a duct 20. The opening of the fan 21 faces downward, and the end of the opening is fixed to a fan fixing shelf 22. Because the opening of the fan 21 is fixed to the fan fixing shelf 22, vibrations generated by the fan 21 can be suppressed. In other words, the opening of the fan 21 is the part that vibrates the most due to the rotation of the fan 21, and by fixing this most vibrating part to the relatively heavy fan fixing shelf 22, vibrations generated by the fan 21 can be efficiently suppressed.

[0025] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the air conditioning equipment 13 is a wall-mounted air conditioning unit. The fan fixing shelf 22 is installed below the air conditioning equipment 13 along the wall in the air-conditioned room 16a where the air conditioning equipment 13 is installed. Here, "along the wall" means "as close to the wall as possible." The fan fixing shelf 22 is installed at a certain distance from the wall opposite the wall in which the air conditioning equipment 13 is installed. When the fan fixing shelf 22 is installed along the wall opposite the wall in which the air conditioning equipment 13 is installed, there is a high possibility that the temperature-controlled air supplied from the bottom of the wall-mounted air conditioning unit will be directly drawn into some of the fans 21. In this case, there will be a mix of fans 21 that directly draw in the supplied air and fans 21 that cannot draw it in easily, resulting in different rates of temperature change in each room 16.

[0026] Since the air conditioning unit 13 is a wall-mounted air conditioning unit, and the fan fixing shelf 22 is installed below it along the wall on which the air conditioning unit 13 is installed, the air supplied from the air conditioning unit 13 hits the wall opposite to the wall on which the air conditioning unit 13 is installed, so that the temperature-controlled air mixes evenly with the surrounding air, and air of almost the same temperature can be supplied to multiple fans 21, and the rate of temperature change can be kept constant when the temperature of the living room 16 is changed rapidly.

[0027] In this embodiment, the room 16a for the air conditioning equipment is located on the same floor as other rooms, i.e., the second floor. Furthermore, the room 16a for the air conditioning equipment is equipped with soundproofing.

[0028] If the air conditioning room 16a is located on a floor where no other rooms 16 exist, i.e., in the ceiling space or under the floor, the length of the duct 20 will be longer for rooms 16 that are farther away from the air conditioning room 16a, which may slow down the rate of temperature change caused by the air passing through the duct 20. However, if the air conditioning room 16a is located on a floor where other rooms 16 exist, the distance of the duct 20 will be shorter when rapidly changing the temperature of the rooms 16, thus increasing the rate of temperature change.

[0029] Furthermore, if the air conditioning room 16a is located on the same floor as other rooms 16, the fan 21, which is a rotating object, will be positioned close to the rooms 16. In this case, soundproofing equipment is provided in the air conditioning room 16a to reduce the noise from the fan 21. This soundproofing equipment may include, for example, soundproofing material installed in the room wall 30.

[0030] Because soundproofing equipment is installed in the air conditioning room 16a, noise generated from the fan 21 can be suppressed even if the air conditioning room 16a is located on a floor where other rooms 16 exist.

[0031] Furthermore, in the detached house 10 according to this embodiment, the room for air conditioning equipment 16a is located above the stairs leading to the second floor, that is, the stairs leading from the first floor to the second floor.

[0032] By positioning the air conditioning room 16a above the stairs, it is possible to prevent wasted space from being created within the building.

[0033] Figure 5 shows a control block diagram of a detached house 10 according to this embodiment. An input / output device 41 is electrically connected to the control device 40 for operating the control device 40 and visually checking the control status of the control device 40.

[0034] Furthermore, the control device 40 is provided with a switch 42 corresponding to each of the multiple fans 21. That is, multiple switches 42, such as a first switch 42a and a second switch 42b, are electrically connected to the control device 40, and multiple fans 21, such as a first fan 21a and a second fan 21b, corresponding to these switches 42, are also electrically connected to the control device 40.

[0035] The resident of the detached house 10 can, for example, turn on a first switch 42a located in a room 16 to operate the first fan 21a and introduce temperature-controlled air into that room 16.

[0036] In this embodiment, when a resident operates the input / output device 41, the control device 40 can prevent the function of the first fan 21a from activating, for example, if another resident operates the first switch 42a and attempts to activate it, at a predetermined start time. Furthermore, this function can be reactivated at a predetermined end time.

[0037] A control device 40 is provided for turning the fan 21 on and off. By preventing the control device 40 from operating the fan 21 for a predetermined period of time, the fan 21 can be prevented from operating at night or in other quiet environments, thus preventing vibration and noise from being generated by the fan 21.

[0038] In this embodiment, a solar power generation system 19 is installed on the roof. The air conditioning system 13 is powered by the electricity generated by this solar power generation system 19. However, the solar power generation system 19 may not be installed in areas with insufficient sunlight.

[0039] (Other embodiments) In the embodiments described above, a two-story detached house 10 was explained, but the building utilizing radiant heat is not limited to this. It can also be a one-story building or a building with three or more stories. Furthermore, the present invention is applicable not only to detached houses 10 but also to large buildings such as apartment buildings.

[0040] In the embodiment described above, a configuration was described in which temperature-controlled air is supplied to each room 16 through the duct 20. However, the duct 20 and fan 21 can also be provided for other functions. For example, they can be provided when temperature-controlled air is supplied from the air-conditioned room 16a to the attic space 17 or the underfloor space 18 in order to efficiently utilize radiant heat. The duct 20 and fan 21 may also be used to blow air from the attic space 17 towards the underfloor space 18, or conversely, to send air from the underfloor space 18 towards the attic space 17. In this case, the fan 21 may be installed in a location other than the air-conditioned room 16a.

[0041] In the embodiment described above, a wall-mounted air conditioning unit was used as the air conditioning unit 13, but it is not limited to this. For example, other types of air conditioning units such as ceiling-suspended or ceiling-recessed units are also acceptable.

[0042] In the embodiment described above, the room 16a for the air conditioning equipment was located on the second floor, but it is not limited to this. Even if the detached house 10 is two stories tall, it can also be located on the first floor. Furthermore, if it is located on the first floor, it can be located below the stairs that connect the first and second floors. Moreover, if the detached house 10 is three stories tall, it can also be located below the stairs that connect the second and third floors. [Explanation of Symbols]
