Summary of the Invention
Problem to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] In the configuration described in the above Patent Document 1, the roof and the frame are connected by the vertical member. For this reason, when the eaves gutter receives wind, the vertical member may wobble relative to the roof, leaving room for improvement in stably supporting the eaves gutter. The present invention has been made in view of the above actual situation, and an object thereof is to provide a support for a fitting-type folded-plate roof, a support mounting method, and a roof eaves set that can support a support target more stably.
Means for Solving the Problem
[0005] To achieve the above objective, a support for a fitted corrugated metal roof according to a first aspect of the present invention is a support for a fitted corrugated metal roof that is attached to a fitted corrugated metal roof arranged in the left-right direction and whose left-right ends are fitted together, and supports an object to be supported, comprising: a fitting plate material that fits into the upper part of the roof cavity of the corrugated metal roof; an object support portion that supports the object to be supported; and a connecting portion that connects the fitting plate material and the object support portion, wherein the corrugated metal roof comprises: a ceiling surface formed on the upper surface of the roof cavity; and recesses formed from both ends of the ceiling surface in the left-right direction at an angle downward relative to the ceiling surface and formed in a concave shape when viewed from the roof cavity, wherein the fitting plate material comprises: a ceiling plate portion along the ceiling surface; and an inclined plate portion along the inclined bottom surface of the recess, wherein the end of the inclined plate portion opposite to the ceiling plate portion abuts against a receiving surface which is the side surface of the recess opposite to the ceiling surface.
[0006] To achieve the above objective, a support mounting method according to a second aspect of the present invention is a support mounting method for attaching a fitting-type corrugated roof support to a corrugated roof, wherein the inclined plate portion is provided with curved and entangled portions formed on both the left and right outer sides of the end of the corrugated roof in the extending direction, and the first step is to position the entangled portions of the inclined plate portion facing the receiving surface with the left and right ends of the corrugated roof fitted together, and the second step is to strike the fitting plate material toward the corrugated roof with a tool after the first step so that the entangled portions are drawn toward the receiving surface and the fitting plate material is inserted into the upper part of the roof cavity.
[0007] To achieve the above objective, the roof eaves set fitting according to the third aspect of the present invention comprises: the fitting-type corrugated metal roof support; the corrugated metal roof; the eaves gutter, which is the object to be supported and extends in the left-right direction; a downpipe having an L-shaped elbow and connected to the bottom plate of the eaves gutter so that rainwater passing through the eaves gutter flows into it; and a drainage drain provided on the inner bottom surface of the eaves gutter, on the side of the open end of the downpipe, which, in cooperation with the elbow, generates a siphon effect to promote the drainage of water in the eaves gutter into the downpipe; wherein the object support part grips both ends of the eaves gutter on the open side, and the width of the bottom of the eaves gutter is set to 120 mm or more. [Effects of the Invention]
[0008] According to the present invention, the object to be supported can be supported more stably. [Brief explanation of the drawing]
[0009] [Figure 1] This is a perspective view of a roof eaves set according to one embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 2] This is a front view of a corrugated metal roof and support according to one embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 3] This is a perspective view of a corrugated metal roof and support according to one embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 4] This is a perspective view of a corrugated metal roof and support according to one embodiment of the present invention. [Figure 5] (a) is a schematic front view of a roof eaves set according to one embodiment of the present invention, and (b) is a schematic side view of a gutter according to one embodiment of the present invention, viewed from its longitudinal direction. [Figure 6] This is a perspective view of a corrugated metal roof and support before inserting the fitting plate material according to one embodiment of the present invention into the corrugated metal roof. [Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0010] A support for a snap-fit corrugated metal roof, a method for attaching the support, and a roof eaves set according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in Figure 5(a), the roof eaves set 1 comprises a folding metal roof 60, 70 with interlocking seams, a gutter 50, a drain 56, a downpipe 55, and a support bracket 10 which is a fitting that supports the gutter 50 when fitted into the top of the folding metal roof 60, 70. In the following explanation, the direction in which multiple folded plate roofs 60 and 70 are aligned is defined as the left-right direction, the direction in which the folded plate roofs 60 and 70 extend in the same shape is defined as the roof extension direction, and the direction perpendicular to these left-right and roof extension directions is defined as the up-down direction.
[0011] The eaves gutter 50 has a U-shaped cross-section, extends in the left-right direction, and receives rainwater flowing down the upper surface of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 and directs it to the downpipe 55. As shown in Figure 5(b), the eaves gutter 50 has two ends 51 and 52 on the opening side of the gutter 50. The eaves gutter 50 is supported by a support 10 so as to open upward directly below the eaves of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70. The width W2 of the eaves gutter 50 (the length of the bottom 54 of the eaves gutter 50 in the short direction) is, for example, 120 mm to 300 mm.
[0012] As shown in Figure 5(a), a cylindrical downpipe 55 extending vertically is connected to the bottom surface of the gutter 50. The downpipe 55 guides rainwater that flows into the gutter 50 downwards. The downpipe 55 has an L-shaped elbow 55a near the gutter 50. The gutter 50 and the downpipe 55 are made of a resin such as polyvinyl chloride. Although the eaves gutter 50 and downpipe 55 were made of resin, they are not limited to this and may be made of metal.
[0013] The drain 56 is located on the inner bottom surface of the gutter 50 and is provided at the upper end opening of the downpipe 55. The drain 56 works in cooperation with the elbow 55a to generate a siphon effect, thereby achieving a continuous full-pipe state and enabling efficient drainage of water from the gutter 50 into the downpipe 55. In this way, the drain 56 enables highly efficient drainage, and the outer diameter R of the downpipe 55 can be smaller than in a configuration without the drain 56. The outer diameter R of the downpipe 55 is set to, for example, 140 mm or less, more preferably 89 mm to 140 mm. The drainage drain 56 may have any shape as long as it is a known drainage drain. Known drainage drains are disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent No. 4589655 and Japanese Patent No. 5711092. Note that the present invention is not limited to this example, and the drainage drain 56 may be omitted, and the outer diameter R of the downspout 55 may be set to be larger than 140 mm.
[0014] The plurality of folded-plate roofs 60, 70 are arranged side by side in the left-right direction, and are seamed in a state where the upper seam portion 65 and the lower seam portion 76 located at the left-right direction end portions of the plurality of folded-plate roofs 60, 70 are overlapped and fitted. The folded-plate roofs 60, 70 have a shape in which the base of a trapezoid is omitted when viewed from the roof extending direction, and the inside of this trapezoid constitutes the roof internal space S. As shown in Figure 2, the folded-plate roofs 60, 70 include side wall portions 61, 71, ceiling wall portions 63, 73, an upper seam portion 65, and a lower seam portion 76.
[0015] The upper seam portion 65 is located at one end (for example, the right end) in the left-right direction of the folded-plate roof 60, and the lower seam portion 76 is located at the other end (for example, the left end) in the left-right direction of the folded-plate roof 70. The upper seam portion 65 surrounds the outer periphery of the lower seam portion 76 and holds the lower seam portion 76 inside.
[0016] The ceiling wall portion 63 extends leftward from the lower end of the upper seam portion 65, and the ceiling wall portion 73 extends rightward from the lower end of the lower seam portion 76. The ceiling wall portions 63, 73 are inclined downward as they move away from the seam portions 65, 76 in the left-right direction. The angle of this inclination with respect to the left-right direction is set to, for example, 3° to 10°. Note that this angle may be 0 (zero)°. Of the ceiling wall portions 63, 73, the surface on the roof internal space S side is the ceiling surfaces 63a, 73a.
[0017] The side wall portion 61 is inclined obliquely downward from the end of the ceiling wall portion 63 opposite to the upper seam portion 65, and the side wall portion 71 is inclined obliquely downward from the end of the ceiling wall portion 73 opposite to the lower seam portion 76. The two side wall portions 61, 70 are inclined so as to separate from each other in the left-right direction toward the lower side. The side wall portions 61, 71 have concave portions 62, 72 formed in the upper parts of the side wall portions 61, 71, the concave portions being concave as viewed from the roof interior space S of the folded-plate roofs 60, 70. The concave portions 62, 72 are formed to face the inner side in the left-right direction and the diagonally lower side (the side of a connecting portion 30 to be described later).
[0018] The concave portions 62, 72 have receiving surfaces 62a, 72a and inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b. The inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b are formed continuously at the ends of the top surfaces 63a, 73a on the side opposite to seam portions 65, 76. The inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b are oriented such that the inter-surface distance in the left-right direction increases as going downward.
[0019] The receiving surfaces 62a, 72a are formed as the side surfaces of the concave portions 62, 72 on the side of the inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b opposite to the top surfaces 63a, 73a. The receiving surfaces 62a, 72a are erected with respect to the inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b. The angle of the receiving surfaces 62a, 72a with respect to the inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b is set to, for example, approximately 90° (including ±4°). The receiving surfaces 62a, 72a are formed to face diagonally upward on the inner side in the left-right direction, in other words, to face the seam portions 65, 76.
[0020] As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a support 10 is attached to the folded-plate roofs 60, 70 and supports an eaves gutter 50 that is an object to be supported. The support 10 includes a fitting plate member 20, a connecting portion 30, and an eaves gutter support portion 40.
[0021] As shown in FIG. 2, the fitting plate member 20 is fitted into the upper part of the roof interior space S of the folded-plate roofs 60, 70, and has a plate shape bent to follow the receiving surfaces 62a, 72a, the inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b, and the top surfaces 63a, 73a. The length of the fitting plate member 20 in the roof extending direction is formed to be longer than the length of the fitting plate member 20 in the left-right direction.
[0022] The fitting plate member 20 includes a top plate portion 21 and inclined plate portions 22L, 22R. The ceiling panel section 21 extends along the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70. At least a portion of the upper surface of the ceiling panel section 21 is in contact with the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a. The ceiling panel section 21 is curved downwards in the left-right direction from the center to both sides. The ceiling panel section 21 extends in the direction of roof extension. The ceiling panel 21 may be formed in a flat shape without curving in the left-right direction.
[0023] The inclined plate sections 22L and 22R extend diagonally downward from both left and right ends of the ceiling plate section 21, and are inclined such that the distance between the surfaces of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R increases in the left and right direction as they move downward. The inclined plate sections 22L and 22R are fitted into recesses 62 and 72, and the upper surfaces of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R extend along the inclined bottom surfaces 62b and 72b. The corners between the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R and the ceiling plate section 21 are in contact with the corners between the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a and the inclined bottom surfaces 62b and 72b. The gap Sk between the upper surfaces of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R and the inclined bottom surfaces 62b and 72b increases as it approaches the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a. The leading edges of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R are in contact with the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a. As a result, even if a downward force is applied to the interlocking plate 20, the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a receive the force from the interlocking plate 20, thereby preventing the interlocking plate 20 from coming off the corrugated metal roof 60 and 70. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 6, the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R each have a guide portion 22C that is rounded and given a radius. The guide portion 22C is the first end E1 of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R in the direction of roof extension, and the outer corners in the left-right direction are formed with a rounded shape. The first end E1 is the end on which the fitting plate material 20 first contacts the corrugated roof 60 and 70 before inserting the fitting plate material 20 into the corrugated roof 60 and 70. The guide portion 22C is located far from the eaves after the support 10 has been attached to the corrugated roof 60 and 70. As shown in Figure 4, the second end E2 of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R is the end opposite to the first end E1 in the direction of roof extension, and is located closer to the eaves than the first end E1 after the support 10 has been attached to the corrugated roof 60 and 70. The outer corners of the second end E2, in the left-right direction, lack a recessed section and form a right angle. As shown in Figure 1, each inclined plate section 22L, 22R and the inclined bottom surfaces 62b, 72b are fastened together by a fastening member A3. The fastening member A3 consists of multiple sets of bolts and nuts arranged in the direction of roof extension, and the shafts of these bolts penetrate the inclined plate sections 22L, 22R and the side walls 61, 71. The forces from the fitting plate material 20 are received by the receiving surfaces 62a, 72a, so the fastening member A3 is unlikely to loosen, and even if it does loosen, it will not lead to the fitting plate material 20 falling off.
[0024] The connecting portion 30 is a member that connects the fitting plate material 20 and the gutter support portion 40, and extends downward from the lower surface of the ceiling plate portion 21 of the fitting plate material 20. As shown in Figure 4, the connecting portion 30 comprises an upper wall portion 31, a lower wall portion 32, a connecting wall portion 33, and a side wall portion 34.
[0025] The upper wall portion 31 is a long rectangular plate in the direction of roof extension, and is fixed to the ceiling plate portion 21 by fastening member A1 with the upper surface of the upper wall portion 31 in contact with the lower surface of the ceiling plate portion 21. The fastening member A1 consists of a plurality (3) of rivets arranged in the direction of roof extension.
[0026] The connecting wall section 33 is formed to stand upright on the edge (more precisely, the right edge) of the upper wall section 31 that extends in the direction of roof extension. The connecting wall section 33 is plate-shaped and extends in both the vertical and roof extension directions. The width W1 (see Figure 3) of the connecting wall section 33 extending in the roof extension direction is formed to gradually decrease as it goes downwards. The end of the connecting wall section 33 on the eaves side in the direction of roof extension extends vertically, while the end face 33b (see Figure 3) of the connecting wall section 33 on the opposite side of the eaves in the direction of roof extension slopes downward so as it approaches the eaves side. The connecting wall portion 33 has a through hole 33a formed in the center. The through hole 33a has a shape that is a reduced version of the outer shape of the connecting wall portion 33. The through hole 33a is formed to reduce the weight of the support 10 and to improve the ventilation of the roof space S.
[0027] The side wall portion 34 is formed to be erected at the eaves-side end of the connecting wall portion 33 in the direction of roof extension. The side wall portion 34 extends vertically, spanning between the upper wall portion 31 and the lower wall portion 32. The side wall portion 34 is formed to close the openings formed by the eaves-side ends of the upper wall portion 31, the lower wall portion 32, and the connecting wall portion 33. The side wall portion 34 suppresses bending of the connecting wall portion 33, prevents wind and rain from entering the connecting portion 30, and further prevents the connecting wall portion 33 from being directly exposed to wind.
[0028] The lower wall section 32 is a rectangular plate that is long in the direction of roof extension and is formed to stand upright at the lower end of the connecting wall section 33. The lower wall section 32 is formed to face the upper wall section 31 in the vertical direction. The length of the lower wall section 32 in the direction of roof extension is shorter than the length of the upper wall section 31 in the direction of roof extension, and the eaves-side end of the lower wall section 32 and the eaves-side end of the upper wall section 31 coincide when viewed from the vertical direction.
[0029] As shown in Figure 3, the gutter support 40 is fixed to the lower surface of the lower wall 32. The gutter support 40 comprises a main body 43, a pair of support parts 41 and 42, and pressing parts 44 and 45. The main body 43 is a rectangular plate that is long in the direction of roof extension. The main body 43 is longer in the direction of roof extension than the lower wall 32. The main body 43 is fixed to the lower side of the lower wall 32 by fastening member A2. Fastening member A2 consists of multiple sets of bolts and nuts arranged in the direction of roof extension. The pair of support parts 41 and 42 are located at both ends of the main body 43 in the direction of roof extension and are shaped to cover the ends 51 and 52 of the eaves gutter 50 from above. The pressing parts 44 and 45 are configured as leaf springs and are located within each support part 41 and 42, and bias the ends 51 and 52 of the eaves gutter 50 within each support part 41 and 42.
[0030] Next, the method for attaching the eaves gutter 50 to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 via the support brackets 10 will be explained. When attaching the support brackets 10 to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70, the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 are fitted together and the seams are fastened. The support brackets 10 can be retrofitted to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70. When inserting the fitting plate material 20 of the support 10 into the upper part of the roof space S of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 from the eaves side, the worker first positions the guide portions 22C of the inclined plate portions 22L and 22R facing the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a, as shown in Figure 6. Then, by striking the fitting plate material 20 toward the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 with a tool such as a hammer, the guide portions 22C are guided into the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a, and the fitting plate material 20 is pushed between the recesses 62 and 72 in the roof space S and the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a. When the fitting plate material 20 reaches the desired position in the roof extension direction of the roof space S, the fitting plate material 20 is fastened to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 by the fastening member A3 (see Figure 1). Then, the ends 51 and 52 of the eaves gutter 50 are inserted into the support portions 41 and 42 of the support 10. As a result, the support brackets 10 are firmly fixed to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70, supporting the gutter 50. The support brackets 10 are installed at predetermined intervals in the direction of extension (left and right) of the gutter 50.
[0031] (effect) According to the embodiment described above, the following effects are achieved. (1) The support fixture 10 for the corrugated metal roof is attached to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 arranged in the left-right direction and supports the gutter 50, which is an example of an object to be supported. The support fixture 10 comprises a fitting plate material 20 that fits into the upper part of the roof space S of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70, a gutter support part 40 which is an example of an object support part that supports the gutter 50, and a connecting part 30 that connects the fitting plate material 20 and the gutter support part 40. The corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 include ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a formed on the upper surface of the roof cavity S, recesses 62 and 72 formed from both ends of the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a in the left-right direction, sloping diagonally downward relative to the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a, and formed in a concave shape when viewed from the roof cavity S, and upper seam portions 65 and lower seam portions 76 located above the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a, at the opposing ends of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 arranged in the left-right direction, and overlapping. The fitting plate material 20 includes a ceiling plate portion 21 along the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a, and inclined plate portions 22L and 22R along the inclined bottom surfaces 62b and 72b of the recesses 62 and 72. The ends of the inclined plate sections 22L and 22R opposite to the ceiling plate section 21 abut against the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a, which are the sides of the recesses 62 and 72 opposite to the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a. With this configuration, even if a large force is applied to the support 10 via the gutter 50 when subjected to strong winds, the end faces of the inclined plate portions 22L and 22R of the fitting plate material 20 are in contact with the receiving surfaces 62a and 72a, thus preventing the support 10 from coming off the corrugated roof 60 and 70. Therefore, the support 10 can support the gutter 50 more stably. Furthermore, the ceiling plate portion 21 of the interlocking plate material 20 follows the ceiling surfaces 63a and 73a of the corrugated roofs 60 and 70, and the inclined plate portions 22L and 22R of the interlocking plate material 20 follow the inclined bottom surfaces 62b and 72b of the corrugated roofs 60 and 70. This prevents the support 10 from wobbling and rotating in the left-right direction around the upper end of the connecting portion 30, as shown by arrow B in Figure 2. Therefore, the support 10 can support the gutter 50 more stably.
[0032] (2) The connecting portion 30 comprises an upper wall portion 31 fixed to the lower surface of the ceiling plate portion 21 of the fitting plate material 20, a lower wall portion 32 located below the upper wall portion 31 and fixed to the gutter support portion 40, a connecting wall portion 33 that connects the upper wall portion 31 and the lower wall portion 32, is connected to the left and right ends of the upper wall portion 31 and the lower wall portion 32 and extends in a vertical direction perpendicular to the left and right direction, and a side wall portion 34 formed to close the opening consisting of the connecting wall portion 33 and the eaves-side ends of the upper wall portion 31 and the lower wall portion 32. With this configuration, the bending of the connecting wall portion 33 is suppressed by the side wall portion 34.
[0033] (3) The method for attaching the support 10 to the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 includes a first step and a second step. The first step is to position the guide portion 22C of the inclined plate portion 22L and 22R facing the receiving surface 62a and 72a, with the left and right ends of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 fitted together and sealed at the seams. The second step is to strike the fitting plate material 20 toward the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 with a tool after the first step, thereby guiding the guide portion 22C into the receiving surface 62a and 72a, and inserting the fitting plate material 20 into the upper part of the roof space S. The guide portion 22C is formed at the end of the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 in the extension direction, and is curved with rounded corners. With this configuration, the guide portion 22C allows the support member 10 to be smoothly retrofitted to the corrugated metal roof 60, 70. In addition, the guide portion 22C prevents the support member 10 from being inserted in the wrong direction.
[0034] (4) The roof eaves set 1 comprises a support 10, corrugated metal roofs 60, 70, a gutter 50, a downpipe 55 having an L-shaped elbow 55a and connected to the bottom plate of the gutter 50 so that rainwater passing through the gutter 50 flows into it, and a drain 56 located on the inner bottom surface of the gutter 50 and on the open end side of the downpipe 55, which works in cooperation with the elbow 55a to generate a siphon effect and promotes the drainage of water from the gutter 50 into the downpipe 55. The gutter support 40 grips both ends 51, 52 on the open side of the gutter 50. The width W2 of the bottom 54 of the gutter 50 is set to 120 mm to 300 mm. Larger eaves gutters 50 with a width W2 of 120 mm or more are more susceptible to greater external forces from wind and rain, but the gutters 50 are firmly supported by the support brackets 10 against the corrugated metal roofs 60 and 70 to prevent them from coming loose even under these external forces. Furthermore, the provision of a drainage drain 56 in the eaves gutter 50 enables highly efficient drainage, resulting in a small outer diameter R (140 mm or less) for the downpipe 55. Here, the downpipe 55 also functions as a column supporting the eaves gutter 50, but if the outer diameter R of the downpipe 55 is small, it becomes difficult to adequately support the eaves gutter 50. For this reason, in a configuration where a drainage drain 56 is provided, it is particularly beneficial to firmly support the eaves gutter 50 against the corrugated metal roof 60, 70 with the support fixture 10.
[0035] However, the present invention is not limited by the embodiments and drawings described above. Modifications (including the deletion of components) can be made as appropriate without altering the essence of the invention. An example of a modification is described below.
[0036] (modified version) In the above embodiment, either the side wall portion 34 or the connecting wall portion 33 of the connecting portion 30 may be omitted. Furthermore, the connecting portion 30 is not limited to a plate shape, but may also be formed in a cylindrical shape. In the above embodiment, the width W2 of the bottom 54 of the gutter 50 was set to 120 mm to 300 mm, but it is not limited to this and may be less than 120 mm or greater than 300 mm. The support member 10 is not limited to metal; it may also be made of resin. In the above embodiment, the gutter support portion 40 gripped both ends 51 and 52 on the opening side of the gutter 50, but instead of this, or in addition to this, it may be formed to surround the outer surface of the gutter 50.
[0037] In the above embodiment, the object supported by the support 10 is not limited to the gutter 50, but can be any roof-related item, such as a fascia board or other concealing material. Alternatively, the concealing material and the gutter 50 may be integrated into a single unit.
