Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to a helmet.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] When a helmet wearer puts on a helmet, the weight of the helmet itself often causes the hair of the helmet wearer to be flattened or disheveled.
[0003] To suppress such flattening and disheveling of hair, for example, the following Patent Document 1 describes a hairstyle protector for a helmet, which is composed of a protector main body attached to the inner side of a helmet main body, a large number of protrusions protruding from one surface of the protector main body, flexible tip protective members fixed to the tip of each of the protrusions, and a double-sided adhesive tape for fixing the protector main body to the inner side of the helmet main body. Further, the tip protective member serves as a shock absorbing material.

PATENT DOCUMENT 1
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION
[0005] In the case of the hairstyle protector for a helmet of the above-mentioned Patent Document 1, the tip protective member at the tip of the protrusion abuts against the head of the helmet wearer, whereby a gap is formed between the head and the inner side of the helmet main body, and flattening of the hairstyle is suppressed.
[0006] Further, in the above hairstyle protector for a helmet, when an impact force is applied to the helmet, the tip protective member fixed to the tip of each protrusion is configured to absorb the impact. However, since the configuration is such that the shock absorbing performance is ensured only by the tip protective member, it may be difficult to obtain sufficient shock absorbing performance in some cases.
[0007] Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide a helmet that can achieve sufficient impact absorption performance while suppressing flattening and disarray of the helmet wearer's hair. [Means for solving the problem]
[0008] To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a helmet, A contact prevention part is provided on the inside of the helmet to prevent the inner surface of the helmet from coming into contact with the wearer's head. The contact prevention portion has a base portion and a plurality of elastomer protrusions that project from the base portion toward the head of the helmet wearer. The contact prevention portion is characterized by being configured such that it has a compressive strength of 300 to 600 g and a compressive deformation rate of 1 to 5%.
[0009] According to the above invention, when a person puts on a helmet, the multiple protrusions constituting the contact prevention section, which have a compressive strength of 300 to 600 g and a compressive deformation rate of 1 to 5%, form a gap between the head and the inner surface of the helmet, holding the helmet in a floating state away from the head. This suppresses the crushing and collapse of the helmet wearer's hair and ensures ventilation inside the helmet.
[0010] Furthermore, when a load exceeding a certain limit is applied to the helmet, the multiple elastomer protrusions themselves deform, helping to absorb impact and functioning as a cushioning material, thereby improving the helmet's impact absorption performance.
[0011] As described above, the present invention provides a helmet that can achieve sufficient impact absorption performance while suppressing flattening and disarray of the helmet wearer's hair.
[0012] In the helmet of the present invention, The helmet is equipped with a headband that surrounds the head of the person wearing the helmet. The contact prevention portion may be positioned on the part of the headband that is located at the back of the helmet wearer's head.
[0013] According to the above embodiment, since the contact prevention part is positioned on the part of the headband that is located at the back of the helmet wearer's head, even with a helmet that has a headband, it is possible to effectively suppress the crushing and messing up of the helmet wearer's hair at the back.
[0014] In the helmet of the present invention, The projection has a first projection protruding from the base portion and a second projection integrally formed with the first projection so as to extend coaxially from the first projection. The helmet may be configured such that when a load exceeding a predetermined amount is applied, the second projection deforms so as to sink into the top of the first projection.
[0015] According to the above embodiment, when a load exceeding a predetermined amount is applied to the helmet, the second projection deforms so as to sink into the top of the first projection. This suppresses the overall axial length of the projection from becoming excessively large, making the projection compact in the axial direction, and also makes the projection easier to deform, thereby ensuring that the impact absorption performance of the projection is reliably obtained.
[0016] In the helmet of the present invention, The contact prevention portion may be configured to be positioned in at least three areas on the inside of the helmet, excluding the area where the helmet wearer's bangs are located.
[0017] According to the above aspect, when a helmet wearer puts on the helmet, the plurality of protrusions of the contact prevention parts arranged in at least three regions on the inner side of the helmet excluding the portion where the bangs of the helmet wearer are located abut against the head of the helmet wearer, so that the helmet can be stably held in a balanced manner in a posture spaced apart from the head including the bangs, and the inner surface of the helmet can be reliably prevented from directly contacting the head of the helmet wearer. As a result, the crushing and dishevelment of the hair of the helmet wearer, particularly the bangs, can be suppressed.
[0018] In the helmet of the present invention, The contact prevention parts may be arranged on the inner side of the helmet, at portions located on the left and right temporal regions of the helmet wearer, and at a portion located near the occipital region of the helmet wearer.
[0019] According to the above aspect, since the contact prevention parts are provided in the layout as described above, the helmet can be more stably held in a posture spaced apart from the head of the helmet wearer. Effects of the Invention
[0020] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a helmet that can obtain sufficient shock absorption performance while suppressing crushing and dishevelment of the hair of a helmet wearer. Brief Description of the Drawings

[0022] (One embodiment of a helmet) Hereinafter, an embodiment of the helmet according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0023] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the helmet 10 of this embodiment mainly comprises a rigid shell 20, an interior lining 30 positioned inside the shell 20, and a headband 40 that surrounds the wearer's head 1.
[0024] Furthermore, the helmet can be used as a bicycle helmet, industrial helmet, riding helmet for motorcycles and automobiles, helmet for various sports, helmet for outdoor activities such as mountain climbing, and is not particularly limited to any specific field of use.
[0025] In this embodiment, the helmet shell 20 is substantially hemispherical in shape, capable of covering the head 1 of the helmet wearer, and is formed of a rigid synthetic resin (for example, ABS resin, etc.) of a predetermined thickness.
[0026] Furthermore, the interior lining 30 in this embodiment is made of a synthetic resin that is softer than the helmet shell 20, such as EPS (expanded polystyrene) resin or polyolefin-based synthetic resin, and as shown in Figure 2, it has a substantially hammock-like shape with multiple strip-shaped pieces 31 and multiple gaps 32 extending from the front of the helmet wearer's head 2 to the back of the head 3. Note that in this embodiment, the interior lining includes a hammock, an impact-absorbing liner, etc.
[0027] As shown in Figure 2, the headband 40 in this embodiment is fixed to the inside of the helmet shell 20 so as to be able to surround the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head and the back of the head 3.
[0028] Furthermore, contact prevention parts 50 and 50A are provided on the inside of the helmet 10 to prevent the interior body 30 from coming into contact with the helmet wearer's head 1.
[0029] Specifically, in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 2, the contact prevention portion is positioned in at least three areas of the inner lining 30 located inside the helmet 10, in this case inside the helmet shell 20 that constitutes the helmet 10, excluding the portion of the helmet wearer's hair 5 where the bangs are located. These areas are the portions of the inner lining 30 located on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head and the portion located closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0030] In other words, as shown in Figure 2, a pair of contact prevention parts 50A, 50A are positioned on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head in the interior 30, which is located inside the helmet 10, in this case inside the helmet shell 20 that makes up the helmet 10, and a contact prevention part 50 is positioned closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0031] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, a contact prevention part 50B is positioned on the headband 40 at the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0032] As shown in Figure 3, the contact prevention section 50 has a base section 60 and a plurality of elastomer protrusions 70 projecting from the base section 60 toward the helmet wearer's head 1, forming a structure similar to a silicone brush. The other contact prevention sections 50A and 50B have a similar structure.
[0033] As shown in Figures 4 and 5, the projection 70 has a first projection 71 protruding from the base portion 60 and a second projection 75 integrally formed with the first projection 71 so as to extend coaxially from the top portion 73 of the first projection 71 (it can also be called a double projection structure). When a load exceeding a predetermined amount (a load of 600g or more) is applied to the helmet 10, the second projection 75 deforms so as to sink into the top portion 72a of the first projection 71, as shown on the right side of the page in Figure 6.
[0034] More specifically, the base portion 60 of the contact prevention portion 50, which is positioned near the back of the helmet wearer's head 3, is a thin, trapezoidal sheet, and multiple protrusions 70 are provided protruding from one surface in the thickness direction of this base portion 60. Also, as shown in Figure 2, the trapezoidal base portion 60 is fixed to the interior lining 30 with the shorter side of the opposing long and short sides facing the top portion 21 of the helmet shell 20.
[0035] As shown in Figure 4, each first projection 71 constituting the projection 70 consists of a substantially cylindrical peripheral wall portion 72 erected from one surface in the thickness direction of the base portion 60, and a ceiling portion 73 that slopes diagonally inward from the top 72a in the direction of erection toward the bottom 72b in the direction of erection, forming a substantially mortar shape. As shown in Figure 6, the ceiling portion 73 is slightly thinner than the thickness of the peripheral wall portion 72 and is capable of bending deformation.
[0036] Furthermore, a solid, substantially cylindrical second projection 75 extends coaxially with respect to the first projection 71 for a predetermined length from the inner peripheral edge of the radial center of the ceiling portion 73 of the first projection 71, such that it shares the same center with respect to the radial center of the first projection 71.
[0037] Furthermore, the top portion 75a of the second projection 75 in the direction of extension is rounded, and this top portion 75a is the part that comes into contact with the head 1 of the helmet wearer, as shown in Figure 1.
[0038] Furthermore, the shape of the protrusions is not limited to the shapes and structures described above. For example, multiple pin-shaped protrusions may be erected directly from the base, or multiple roughly trapezoidal protrusions that gradually decrease in diameter may be projected directly from the base.
[0039] The peripheral wall portion constituting the first projection may, for example, be in the shape of a roughly elliptical cylinder or a roughly rectangular cylinder. The second projection may, for example, be in the shape of a solid roughly rectangular prism, a solid prism with a roughly elliptical outer circumference, or a roughly cylindrical, roughly elliptical cylinder, roughly rectangular cylinder, etc., but it is preferable that it has a shape similar to the outer shape of the first projection and is coaxial with the same axis.
[0040] As shown on the left side of Figure 6, in the state before a load exceeding a predetermined amount is applied to the second projection 75, there is a clearance CL of a predetermined length between the bottom portion 75b in the extending direction of the second projection 75 and the bottom portion 72b of the peripheral wall portion 72 of the first projection 71.
[0041] In the above state, when a load greater than a predetermined amount is applied to the second projection 75, as shown on the right side of Figure 6, the clearance CL between the bottom 75b of the second projection 75 and the bottom 72b of the peripheral wall portion 72 becomes smaller than the clearance CL before the predetermined load is applied (left side of Figure 6), and the top 75a of the second projection 75 becomes lower than the position of the top 75a before the predetermined load is applied, so that the second projection 75 deforms by sinking into the top 72a of the first projection 71.
[0042] As described above, in this embodiment, the projection 70 is deformed in such a way that the second projection 75 sinks in. However, the deformation of the projection is not limited to any particular form, and may include, for example, the entire projection bending, curving, or tilting diagonally.
[0043] Furthermore, the axial length of the second projection 75 constituting the projection 70, that is, the length from the bottom 75b to the top 75a of the second projection 75, is preferably 5 to 15 mm, and more preferably 8 to 12 mm.
[0044] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the projections 70 are positioned along the inner edges of each side of the substantially trapezoidal base portion 60, including the opposing long and short sides and the pair of left and right side sides connecting these sides, as well as in the central portion of both sides. The distance L between the axis centers C of adjacent projections 70 is preferably 5 to 30 mm, and more preferably 10 to 20 mm.
[0045] The projection 70 having the above configuration is integrally formed of a first projection 71 and a second projection 75 made of an elastomer such as a resin-based elastomer like silicone rubber, urethane rubber, or fluororubber, or a thermoplastic elastomer such as polystyrene, olefin / alkene, polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, polyester, or polyamide.
[0046] Furthermore, the elastomer may be made by mixing the above material with an antistatic agent such as carbon black or a conductive filler.
[0047] Furthermore, although the projection 70 is integrally formed with the first projection 71 and the second projection 75 as described above, the entire projection and the base portion may also be integrally formed.
[0048] On the other hand, the contact prevention portions 50A, 50A and their base portions 60A, which are positioned on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head, are thin, elongated, roughly hexagonal, plate-like sheets. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, the elongated, roughly hexagonal base portions 60A are fixed to the interior body 30 with their long sides, which are positioned almost parallel to each other, aligned almost in line with the extending direction of the strip-shaped piece 31 of the interior body 30.
[0049] The projections 70 constituting the contact prevention portion 50A have the same configuration as the contact prevention portion 50, including a first projection 71 and a second projection 75, and their function (deformation mode, etc.), material, etc., are also the same, so no explanation is provided. Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, the projections 70 are arranged along the inner edges of each side of the vertically elongated, roughly hexagonal base portion 60, and are also arranged in the central part of the base portion 60.
[0050] Furthermore, the contact prevention portion 50B of the headband 40, which is positioned at the back of the helmet wearer's head 3, has a base portion 60B that forms part of the headband 40. A projection 70B having a first projection 71 and a second projection 75 is provided protruding from the inner surface of this base portion 60B, that is, the surface facing radially inward of the helmet 10.
[0051] This projection 70B, like the contact prevention parts 50 and 50A, has a configuration that includes a first projection 71 and a second projection 75, and its layout, function, material, etc. are also the same, so a description will be omitted.
[0052] However, as shown in Figure 5, the axial length of the second projection 75 of the contact prevention portion 50B is shorter than the axial length of the second projection 75 of the projection 70 shown in Figure 4. Furthermore, the second projection 75 has a shape in which the diameter widens at the bottom in the axial direction and gradually narrows towards the top 75a in the axial direction. In addition, the outer diameter of the first projection 71 of the contact prevention portion 50B is also smaller than the outer diameter of the first projection 71 of the projection 70 shown in Figure 4.
[0053] Furthermore, the axial length of the second projection 75 constituting the projection 70B, that is, the length from the bottom 75b to the top 75a of the second projection 75, is preferably 4 to 10 mm, and more preferably 6 to 8 mm.
[0054] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 2, multiple protrusions 70B, identical to the protrusions 40B provided on the headband 40, are provided on the inner surface of the annular portion 22 of the helmet body 20, which is located at the lower end furthest from the crown portion 21 and surrounds the helmet wearer's head 1, and are located on both the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's forehead 2.
[0055] Incidentally, as mentioned above, the shape and structure of the protrusion are not particularly limited, but the protrusion may be, for example, the shape shown in Figure 9. The protrusion 70C of this modified example has a substantially disc-shaped base 71C and a tapered protrusion 75C that protrudes to a predetermined height from the upper end in the thickness direction of the base 71C while gradually decreasing in diameter. The top 77 of the protrusion 75C in the direction of protrusion is flat.
[0056] The projection 70C of the modified example described above is configured such that when a load exceeding a predetermined amount (a load of 600g or more) is applied, the protruding portion 75C deforms so that it collapses in the direction of protrusion (axial direction) (it can also be said that it undergoes compressive deformation in the axial direction).
[0057] Furthermore, the contact prevention portion 50 in the present invention is configured to have a compressive strength of 300 to 600 g and a compressive deformation rate (which can also be called the permanent deformation rate when the compressive load is removed after a predetermined compressive load has been applied) of 1 to 5%.
[0058] To elaborate on this, as shown in Figure 7, the contact prevention part is positioned and fixed in the compression testing machine 100 with the second projection facing upwards. The contact prevention part is configured such that the compressive strength of the contact prevention part is 300 to 600 g in the following cases: (1) when the compression load is applied to the contact prevention part in the compression testing machine 100 with the test atmosphere set to room temperature (25°C) and the compression load application rate set to 10 mm / min until the second projection of the contact prevention part buckles or the compressive deformation amount is 10%; and (2) when the compression load is applied to the contact prevention part in the compression testing machine 100 with the test atmosphere set to 50°C and the compression load application rate set to 10 mm / min until the second projection of the contact prevention part buckles or the compressive deformation amount is 10%.
[0059] In the above compression load application test, a 10% compression deformation of the second projection of the contact prevention part means the deformation when the axial height of the second projection before compression load application is set to 100% and compressed until the axial height of the second projection becomes 90%. The same meaning applies to the repeated compression load application test described below.
[0060] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 8, when a helmet with a total weight of 600g equipped with a contact prevention part is mounted on a human head model according to Japanese Industrial Standard T8131:2015, and with the second projection of the contact prevention part in contact with the head H of the human head model, (3) when the helmet is repeatedly subjected to a compressive load (10,000 times) using a compression testing machine 100 with a test atmosphere of room temperature (25°C) and a compression load application rate of 10 mm / min until the compressive deformation amount of the second projection of the contact prevention part becomes 10%, and (4) when the helmet is repeatedly subjected to a compressive load (10,000 times) using a compression testing machine 100 with a test atmosphere of 50°C and a compression load application rate of 10 mm / min until the compressive deformation amount of the second projection of the contact prevention part becomes 10%, the contact prevention part is configured such that the compressive deformation rate of the contact prevention part is 1 to 5%.
[0061] In other words, when the axial height of the contact prevention portion before the application of compressive load is set to 100%, the axial height after repeated compressive load application tests becomes 95-99%, and the compressive deformation rate is 1-5%. Furthermore, "compressive deformation" as described herein is synonymous with "permanent deformation," meaning that when the state is changed from one in which a compressive load is applied to one in which no compressive load is applied, the deformation remains and does not return to its original state.
[0062] The helmet used in the repeated compression load test shown in Figure 8 has contact prevention sections located in a total of three places on the interior: on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head, and on the back of the helmet wearer's head.
[0063] (Effects and Benefits) Next, the effects and benefits of the helmet 10, which has the above configuration, will be explained.
[0064] In other words, when a person puts on the helmet 10, as shown in Figure 1, the multiple protrusions 70 that constitute the contact prevention section, which have a compressive strength of 300-600g and a compressive deformation rate of 1-5%, form a gap between the head 1 and the inner surface of the helmet (in this case, the inner surface of the inner lining 30), holding the helmet 10 in a state where it is floating above the head 1. This suppresses crushing and collapse of the helmet wearer's hair 5 and ensures ventilation inside the helmet.
[0065] Furthermore, when a load exceeding a predetermined level is applied to the helmet 10, as shown on the right side of Figure 6, the multiple elastomer protrusions 70 themselves deform and function as a cushioning material, thus helping to absorb impact and improving the impact absorption performance of the helmet 10.
[0066] As described above, the present invention provides a helmet 10 that can achieve sufficient impact absorption performance while suppressing crushing and damage to the wearer's hair 5.
[0067] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 2, a headband 40 is provided that surrounds the helmet wearer's head 1, and a contact prevention portion 50B is positioned on the portion of the headband 40 that is located at the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0068] According to the above embodiment, since the contact prevention portion 50B is positioned at the part of the headband 40 that is located at the back of the helmet wearer's head 3, even in the case of a helmet 10 having a headband 40, it is possible to effectively suppress the crushing and messing up of the helmet wearer's hair at the back.
[0069] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the protrusions 70 and 70B each have a first protrusion 71 projecting from the base portions 60, 60A, and 60B, and a second protrusion 75 integrally formed with the first protrusion 71 so as to extend coaxially from the first protrusion 71. When a load exceeding a predetermined amount is applied to the helmet 10, the second protrusion 75 deforms so as to sink into the top portion 72a of the first protrusion 71, as shown in Figure 6.
[0070] According to the above embodiment, when a load exceeding a predetermined amount is applied to the helmet 10, the second projection 75 deforms so as to sink into the top portion 72a of the first projection 71. This suppresses the overall axial length of the projections 70 and 70B from becoming excessively large, making the projections 70 and 70B compact in the axial direction, and also makes the projections 70 and 70B easier to deform, thereby ensuring that the impact absorption performance provided by the projections 70 and 70B is reliably obtained.
[0071] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 2, the contact prevention portions 50 and 50A are configured to be positioned in at least three areas on the inside of the helmet 10, excluding the area where the helmet wearer's bangs are located.
[0072] According to the above embodiment, when a helmet wearer puts on the helmet 10, the multiple protrusions 70, 70B of the contact prevention parts 50, 50A, which are arranged in at least three areas on the inside of the helmet 10, excluding the area where the helmet wearer's bangs are located, come into contact with the helmet wearer's head 1. As a result, the helmet 10 can be held in a balanced and stable position, floating above the head 1 including the bangs, and the inner surface of the helmet can be reliably prevented from directly contacting the helmet wearer's head 1. Consequently, crushing and disarray of the helmet wearer's hair, especially the bangs, can be suppressed.
[0073] Furthermore, in this embodiment, as shown in Figure 2, the contact prevention parts 50 and 50A are positioned on the inside of the helmet 10, specifically in the parts located on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head and in the part located closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0074] According to the above embodiment, since the contact prevention parts 50 and 50A are arranged in the above layout, the helmet 10 can be held more stably in a position where it is lifted away from the helmet wearer's head 1.
[0075] (First example of a helmet) Figure 10 shows a first reference example helmet 10A related to the helmet of the present invention. Parts substantially identical to those in the above embodiments are denoted by the same reference numerals, and their detailed descriptions are omitted.
[0076] In this first reference example, helmet 10A has a contact prevention section on the inside of the helmet 10A to prevent the inner surface of the helmet 10A from coming into contact with the wearer's head, and the contact prevention section is a block made of foamed resin.
[0077] Furthermore, the block-shaped contact prevention portion may be configured to be positioned in at least three areas on the inside of the helmet, excluding the area where the helmet wearer's bangs are located.
[0078] Furthermore, the contact prevention portion, which is a block, may be configured to be located inside the helmet, specifically in parts on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head and in parts closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head.
[0079] Furthermore, the lower end of the helmet, opposite the top of the head, and closer to the front of the helmet, may have a pair of contact prevention parts positioned on either side of the wearer's bangs (avoiding the bangs and positioned on both sides of them). .
[0080] Furthermore, at the lower end of the helmet, closer to the forehead, there may be a thin-walled portion between the pair of left and right contact prevention portions, which is thinner than the rest of the lower end of the helmet.
[0081] More specifically, in this reference example, as shown in Figure 10, the contact prevention portion is positioned in at least three areas of the helmet wearer's hair 5, excluding the portion where the bangs are located, on the inside of the helmet 10A, in this case the interior body 30 which is located inside the helmet shell 20 that makes up the helmet 10A. Specifically, the interior body 30 is positioned on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head and on the portion located closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0082] In other words, as shown in Figure 10, a pair of block-shaped contact prevention parts 50D, 50D are positioned on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head in the interior 30, which is located inside the helmet 10A, in this case inside the helmet shell 20 that makes up the helmet 10A, and a block-shaped contact prevention part 50C is positioned closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head 3.
[0083] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 10, projections 23, 23 are provided on the inner surface of the annular portion 22 of the helmet body 20, which is located at the lower end furthest from the crown portion 21 and surrounds the helmet wearer's head 1, and are located on both the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's forehead 2.
[0084] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 10, in the annular portion 22 of the helmet body 20, a thin-walled portion 22a is formed between the pair of protrusions 23, 23, which is shaved to be thinner than the other parts of the annular portion 22.
[0085] In this embodiment, the contact prevention parts 50C and 50D, having the above configuration, are block bodies of a predetermined thickness with a vertically elongated, approximately hexagonal shape. The shape of the block body is not particularly limited and may be, for example, circular, elliptical, triangular, square, pentagonal, other rectangular shapes, or combinations thereof.
[0086] Furthermore, the contact prevention parts 50C and 50D, which are block bodies, can be made of foamed resin, such as polystyrene foam (EPS) made by the bead method, polyethylene foam, polypropylene foam, EVA cross-linked foam, PET resin foam, phenolic foam, etc., with EPS being particularly preferred.
[0087] Furthermore, in this example helmet 10A, when the helmet wearer puts on the helmet 10A, the contact prevention parts 50C, 50D, and 50E form a gap between the head and the inner surface of the helmet, holding the helmet 10A in a floating state away from the head. This prevents the helmet wearer's hair from being crushed or messed up, and also ensures ventilation inside the helmet.
[0088] Furthermore, when a load exceeding a predetermined level is applied to the helmet 10A, the contact prevention sections 50C, 50D, and 50E, which are block bodies made of foamed resin, function as cushioning materials to help absorb impact, thereby improving the impact absorption performance of the helmet 10A.
[0089] As described above, even in this example, it is possible to provide a helmet 10A that can achieve sufficient impact absorption performance while suppressing flattening and disarray of the helmet wearer's hair.
[0090] Furthermore, when a person puts on the helmet 10A, the contact prevention parts 50C, 50D, 50D, which are located in at least three areas on the inside of the helmet, excluding the area where the helmet wearer's bangs are located, come into contact with the helmet wearer's head. This allows the helmet 10A to be held stably and in a balanced position, slightly elevated from the head, including the bangs, and reliably prevents the inside of the helmet from directly contacting the helmet wearer's head. As a result, crushing and disarray of the helmet wearer's hair, especially the bangs, can be suppressed.
[0091] Furthermore, if the block-shaped contact prevention parts 50C, 50D, 50D are arranged on the inside of the helmet 10A, specifically in the areas located on the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's head and in the area located closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head, the helmet 10A can be held more stably in a position where it is slightly elevated from the helmet wearer's head.
[0092] Furthermore, if a pair of left and right protrusions 23, 23 are provided on the lower end side of the helmet 10A opposite to the top of the head, and closer to the front of the helmet 10A, so as to be located on both sides of the helmet wearer's bangs, then space for the helmet wearer's bangs can be secured between the inner surface of the helmet and the helmet wearer's head on the front of the helmet, thereby more effectively preventing the helmet wearer's bangs from being flattened.
[0093] Furthermore, if there is a thin-walled portion 22a between a pair of left and right protrusions 23, 23 at the lower end of the helmet 10A, near the front of the helmet 10A, it is possible to secure space for the helmet wearer's bangs to move away, thereby preventing the bangs from sticking to the helmet wearer's forehead, etc.
[0094] (Second example of a helmet) Figure 11 shows a helmet 10B of a second reference example related to the helmet of the present invention. Parts substantially identical to those in the above embodiments and the first reference example are denoted by the same reference numerals, and their detailed descriptions are omitted.
[0095] The helmet 10B in this second reference example differs from the first reference example in the layout of the block-shaped contact prevention section.
[0096] In other words, as shown in Figure 11, the contact prevention parts 50E, 50E are located on the inner surface of the annular portion 22 that surrounds the helmet wearer's head 1 and is located at the lower end of the helmet body 20, furthest from the top portion 21, and are positioned on both the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's forehead 2.
[0097] In this second reference example helmet 10B, the block-shaped contact prevention parts 50C, 50E, 50E are located at the lower end of the helmet shell 20, furthest from the crown portion 21, and are positioned on the inner surface of the annular portion 22 surrounding the helmet wearer's head 1. They are located on both the left and right sides of the helmet wearer's forehead 2 and on the side closer to the back of the helmet wearer's head. This layout allows the helmet 10B to be held more stably in a position where it is slightly elevated from the helmet wearer's head.
[0098] Furthermore, the contact prevention parts 50E, 50E ensure space for the helmet wearer's bangs between the inner surface of the helmet and the helmet wearer's head on the front of the helmet, thereby more effectively preventing the helmet wearer's bangs from being flattened.
[0099] Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, and various modified embodiments are possible within the scope of the gist of the present invention, and such embodiments are also included in the scope of the present invention. [Explanation of symbols]
