[0002] As shown in Fig. 10, there is a structure in which a gusset plate 502 is joined to a channel steel column 501 of a building 500, a mount 505 is supported by this gusset plate 502, and an outdoor unit M of an air conditioner is installed on this mount 505. As the gusset plate joint column in this structure, as shown in Fig. 11(A) and Fig. 11(B), a structure is conceivable in which the mounting plate 503 of the T-shaped member 504 having the mounting plate 503 joined to the gusset plate 502 is fixed to the surface plate portion 501a of the channel steel column 501 by welding. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 12, a structure is conceivable in which an opening is formed in the surface plate portion 501a of the channel steel column 501, the mounting plate 503 inserted into the channel steel column 501 through this opening is fixed to the back side of the surface plate portion 501a by welding, and the gusset plate 502 is welded to this mounting plate 503.

Summary of the Invention

Problems to be Solved by the Invention

[0005] However, in the gusset plate jointed columns shown in Figures 11(A) and 11(B), the mounting plate 503 of the T-shaped member 504 may become an obstacle when constructing the exterior wall on the outdoor side of the channel steel column 501. Furthermore, in the gusset plate jointed column shown in Figure 12, an opening is formed in the surface plate portion 501a of the channel steel column 501, which has the disadvantage of higher manufacturing costs, and it becomes necessary to increase the thickness of the mounting plate 503 in order to compensate for the reduction in strength caused by the opening. It should be noted that Patent Document 1 does not disclose any technology that solves these problems.

[0006] The objective of this invention is to provide a gusset plate joint column and an outdoor installation support structure that does not hinder exterior wall construction performed on the outdoor side of the channel steel column, and does not require processing to form an opening in the surface plate portion of the channel steel column. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] The gusset plate joint column of this invention, in order to solve the above problems, is characterized by comprising: a channel steel column for buildings with or without a lip having opposing surfaces and a joint surface connecting the opposing surfaces; a reinforcing plate member disposed inside the joint surface and having vertical edges spaced apart from each other on the center side in the width direction of the joint surface, wherein the central vertical edge is welded to the inner surface of the joint surface and the outer vertical edge is welded to the inner surface of the opposing surfaces, or both the central vertical edge and the outer vertical edge are welded to the inner surface of the joint surface; and a gusset plate located on the outer surface side of the joint surface on the center side in the width direction of the joint surface and welded to the joint surface.

[0008] With the above configuration, the reinforcing plate member is positioned inside the joint surface (surface plate) of the channel steel column, so it does not interfere with exterior wall construction carried out on the outdoor side of the channel steel column. Furthermore, since there is no need to form an opening in the joint surface of the channel steel column, manufacturing costs can be reduced, and the reduction in strength of the channel steel column due to the opening can be avoided, allowing the reinforcing plate member to be made thinner.

[0009] The system may be provided with two of the above-mentioned reinforcing plate members, and the two reinforcing plate members may be separated from each other at the center of the width direction of the connecting surface. Alternatively, the reinforcing plate members may have slits forming vertical edges that are separated from each other at the center of the width direction of the connecting surface.

[0010] The central vertical edge of the reinforcing plate member is close to each other at least on the upper and lower sides, and this close proximity can be welded using I-groove welding. This ensures that the central vertical edge of the reinforcing plate member and the connecting surface are firmly joined, thereby improving the strength of the gusset plate joint.

[0011] The central vertical edges of the reinforcing plate members may each be fillet welded to the connecting surface. This eliminates the need to bring the central vertical edges of the reinforcing plate members close together, making the welding process easier.

[0012] The reinforcing plate member may have a portion that follows the inner surface of the connecting surface and a portion that follows the inner surface of the opposing surface. This makes it possible to improve the strength of the gusset plate joint.

[0013] Alternatively, the reinforcing plate member may form a hollow portion spaced apart from the inner surface of the connecting surface and the inner surface of the opposing surface. This improves the strength of the gusset plate joint.

[0014] Furthermore, the support structure for outdoor-installed equipment of this invention is characterized in that a support frame for outdoor-installed equipment is connected to the gusset plate in the gusset plate-jointed column described above. With this configuration, the load of outdoor-installed equipment such as air conditioner outdoor units and evacuation descent devices can be accurately transmitted to the channel-shaped steel column. [Effects of the Invention]

[0015] According to the present invention, the reinforcing plate member is disposed on the inner side of the connecting surface portion (surface plate portion) of the channel steel column, so it does not become an obstacle to the outer wall construction performed on the outdoor side of the channel steel column, and since the processing of forming an opening in the connecting surface portion is unnecessary, the manufacturing cost can be reduced, and the strength reduction of the channel steel column due to the opening can be avoided, which brings about the effect that the reinforcing plate member can be made thin-walled. [Figure 10] It is an explanatory view showing a conventional support structure for an outdoor installed unit. [Figure 11] It is a diagram showing a conventional gusset plate joint column, where FIG. [Mode for Carrying Out the Invention]

[0017] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on the accompanying drawings. As shown in Fig. 1(A) and Fig. 1(B), the gusset plate joint column 1 of the embodiment includes a lip channel steel column 11 for buildings, two reinforcing plate members 12, and a gusset plate 13.

[0018] The channel steel column 11 has opposing surface portions 11a, 11a with lips that face each other, and a connecting surface portion 11b that connects the opposing surface portions 11a, 11a. The width of this channel steel column 11 is, for example, 60 mm, and the plate thickness is 3.2 mm.

[0019] The two reinforcing plate members 12 are located inside the connecting surface portion 11b of the channel steel column 11, and are arranged spaced apart from each other on the widthwise center side of the connecting surface portion 11b. The plate thickness of the reinforcing plate member 12 is, for example, 4.5 mm. The longitudinal edge portion on the center side of each reinforcing plate member 12 is welded and fixed to the connecting surface portion 11b, and the other longitudinal edge is welded and fixed to the inner side surfaces of the opposing surface portions 11a, 11a.

[0020] In this embodiment, the longitudinal edge portions on the center side of the two reinforcing plate members 12 are close to each other, and the connecting surface portion 11b is joined together with both the longitudinal edges on the center side of these reinforcing plate members 12 by I-groove welding at the adjacent portion. Further, the other longitudinal edge of each reinforcing plate member 12 is fillet welded to the inner side surfaces of the opposing surface portions 11a, 11a. These welds can be performed by inserting the welding rod of a welding machine through the gap between the lips of the channel steel column 11 to approach the welding location.

[0021] The gusset plate 13 is located on the outer side of the connecting surface portion 11b, on the widthwise center side of the channel steel column 11, and is groove-welded to the connecting surface portion 11b. The plate thickness of the gusset plate 13 is, for example, 6 mm. Further, the height of the gusset plate 13 is set to be equal to or less than the height of the reinforcing plate member 12. As the groove welding, for example, K-groove welding, single-bevel groove welding, or the like can be performed.

[0022] As an example of other dimensions for the gusset plate joined column 1, for example, if a channel steel column 11 with a width of 80 mm and a plate thickness of 2.3 mm is used, the plate thickness of the gusset plate 13 would be, for example, 4.5 mm, and the plate thickness of the reinforcing plate member 12 would be, for example, 3.2 mm.

[0023] Although not shown in the diagram, the support structure for the outdoor-installed equipment (such as the outdoor unit of an air conditioner or an evacuation descent device) in this embodiment uses the gusset plate joint column 1 described above in the upper floor columns of the building, and a support frame for the outdoor-installed equipment is connected between the gusset plates 13 of adjacent gusset plate joint columns 1. The support frame is connected to the gusset plate 13 by, for example, screwing nuts onto bolts that pass through horizontal through holes formed in the gusset plate 13 and horizontal through holes formed in the support frame.

[0024] With the above configuration, the two reinforcing plate members 12, 12 are positioned inside the connecting surface portion 11b of the channel steel column 11, so they do not interfere with exterior wall construction carried out on the outdoor side of the channel steel column 11. Furthermore, since no opening is formed in the connecting surface portion 11b, which is the surface plate portion of the channel steel column 11, manufacturing costs can be reduced, and the reduction in strength of the channel steel column 11 due to the opening can be avoided, allowing the reinforcing plate members 12 to be made thinner.

[0025] Furthermore, when the central vertical edges of the two reinforcing plate members 12, 12 are I-groove welded, the central vertical edges of these reinforcing plate members 12, 12 and the connecting surface 11b are firmly joined, thereby improving the strength of the gusset plate joint.

[0026] As shown in Figure 2, the central vertical edges of the two reinforcing plate members 12, 12 may be fillet welded to the connecting surface 11b. Although this reduces the strength of the gusset plate joint compared to I-groove welding, it simplifies the welding process because the central vertical edges of the two reinforcing plate members 12, 12 do not need to be brought close together. Furthermore, the welding to the connecting surface 11b of the gusset plate 13 can also be fillet welded.

[0027] As shown in Figure 3, the central and outer vertical edges of the two reinforcing plate members 12, 12 may both be welded to the inner surface of the connecting surface 11b. In the example shown in Figure 3, the outer vertical edge of the reinforcing plate member 12 is close to the inner surface of the opposing surface 11a, and the outer vertical edge of the reinforcing plate member 12 is also welded to the inner surface of the opposing surface 11a. I-groove welding may be used for this welding.

[0028] As shown in Figure 4, the reinforcing plate member 12 may be bent into a hook shape, so that it has a portion that follows the inner surface of the connecting surface portion 11b and a portion that follows the inner surface of the opposing surface portion 11a. This improves the strength and weldability of the gusset plate joint. The reinforcing plate member 12 may also have a shape that closely follows the inner surface of the R portion of the channel steel column 11.

[0029] As shown in Figure 5, the reinforcing plate member 12 may be bent into a mountain shape and spaced apart from a part of the inner surface of the connecting surface portion 11b and the inner surface of the opposing surface portion 11a to form a hollow portion inside the R portion of the channel steel column 11. This improves the strength and weldability of the gusset plate joint.

[0030] As shown in Figure 6, the reinforcing plate member 12 may be bent into an L shape, and a rectangular box-shaped hollow portion may be formed, spaced apart from the inner surface of the connecting surface portion 11b and the inner surface of the opposing surface portion 11a. This also improves the strength of the gusset plate joint.

[0031] As shown in Figure 7, the reinforcing plate member 12 may be made of a flat plate and may form a triangular box-shaped hollow portion spaced apart from the inner surface of the connecting surface portion 11b and the inner surface of the opposing surface portion 11a. This also improves the strength of the gusset plate joint.

[0032] As shown in Figure 8, a reinforcing plate member 12A may be used instead of the reinforcing plate member 12. This reinforcing plate member 12A consists of a single plate and has slits 12a that form vertical edges spaced apart from each other on the center side in the width direction of the joint surface portion 11b. I-groove welding may be performed in these slits 12a. The slits 12a are formed by laser processing or the like.

[0033] As shown in Figure 9, slits 12a are formed in the reinforcing plate member 12A on the upper and lower sides where large stresses are applied, and I-groove welding may be performed in the two slits 12a.

[0034] Furthermore, although the above example shows a channel steel column with a lip as channel steel column 11, a channel steel column without a lip can also be used.

[0035] Although embodiments of this invention have been described above with reference to the drawings, this invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments. Various modifications and variations can be made to the illustrated embodiments within the same scope as this invention, or within the equivalent scope. [Explanation of symbols]
