[0003] Patent Document 1 Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2023-119924 Summary of Invention Problem to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] Incidentally, in the above load-bearing wall, the connection plate constituting the connection member is fixed to the upper surface portions of the two gusset plates by welding. However, simply widening the interval between the two gusset plates increases the interval between the support lines of the two gusset plates for the connection plate, which creates a need to increase the plate thickness of the connection plate to enhance its rigidity.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a diagonal member connection structure and a load-bearing wall that can partially widen the interval between two gusset plates while reducing the plate thickness of the connection plate. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The diagonal brace connection structure according to this invention solves the above problems by being a diagonal brace connection structure in which the mounting portion of the diagonal brace is connected to a connecting member provided on the side surface of a steel pipe column, wherein the connecting member consists of two gusset plates fixed to the side surface of the steel pipe column and a connecting plate fixed to the upper surface of the gusset plates, and is characterized in that the distance at the tip side of the gusset plates is narrower than the distance at the base end of the gusset plates on the steel pipe column side.
[0007] With the above configuration, the distance between the tip ends of the two gusset plates is narrower than the distance between the base ends of the two gusset plates on the steel pipe column side. Therefore, the thickness of the connecting plate can be made thinner compared to a structure in which the distance between the two gusset plates is simply widened to the same distance as the base end distance.
[0008] The base end of the gusset plate on the steel pipe column side may be welded to a flat portion of the edge of the side surface of the steel pipe column. This allows the gusset plate to be directly welded to the side surface of the steel pipe column without having to separately weld a mounting plate to the side surface of the steel pipe column, even if the steel pipe column has a thin plate thickness.
[0009] Furthermore, the load-bearing wall according to this invention is a load-bearing wall equipped with the above-described diagonal member connection structure, wherein the diagonal member is made of a flat bar with its main surface side positioned parallel to the wall surface within the wall surface of the building, and the mounting portion of the diagonal member is connected to the connecting plate of the connecting member.
[0010] In the above-described load-bearing wall, the mounting portion of the diagonal member is positioned spaced apart from the end face of the diagonal member and includes an end plate having an insertion hole in the direction of the centerline of the diagonal member, and the other ends of two flange plates, one end of which is fixed to each edge of the end of the diagonal member, are fixed to the opposite sides of the end plate. The mounting portion and the connecting member are spaced apart in the direction of the centerline. A male threaded portion provided on either the mounting portion or the connecting member and passed through the insertion hole may be screwed together with a female threaded portion on the other side.
[0011] In the above-described load-bearing wall, the mounting portion may be pulled toward the connecting member by the movement of either the male screw portion or the female screw portion due to the screwing. This allows the diagonal member to be easily tensioned by the movement.
[0012] In the above-described load-bearing wall, the connecting member may be equipped with a headed bolt as the male threaded portion, the threaded portion of this headed bolt may be inserted through the insertion hole of the end plate, and a nut as the female threaded portion may be screwed onto the inserted threaded portion.
[0013] In the above-described load-bearing wall, the spacing between the two gusset plates may be wider than the width of the bolt head at the location where the bolt head is positioned, and also such that the bolt head does not rotate. This eliminates the need to hold the bolt head in place with a tool to prevent rotation, thus improving workability.
[0014] In the above-described load-bearing wall, the distance between the two gusset plates near the connecting plate may be such that a finger can be inserted. This allows the headed bolt to be easily inserted between the two gusset plates by holding it with a finger.
[0015] The distance between the two gusset plates at their ends may become narrower as they approach the connecting plate. This allows the headed bolt to be easily inserted between the two gusset plates by utilizing the wider gap. [Effects of the Invention]
[0016] With this invention, the thickness of the connecting plate can be reduced while partially widening the distance between the two gusset plates. Furthermore, it eliminates the need to separately weld mounting plates (reinforcement plates) to the side of the steel pipe column.

Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0018] Hereinafter, an embodiment according to one aspect of the present invention will be described based on the attached drawings. As shown in Figure 1, the load-bearing wall 10 of this embodiment is provided with diagonal members 2 made of flat bars in a cross shape.
[0019] The plate-shaped mounting portion 21 located on the upper end side of each diagonal member 2 is connected to the upper connecting member 3 located on the upper side of the steel pipe column 100 (for example, a 60 mm square steel pipe column with a plate thickness of 2.3 mm) that is the building frame of a building. Similarly, the tension mounting portion 22 located on the lower end side of each diagonal member 2 is connected to the lower connecting member 4 located on the lower side of the steel pipe column 100. That is, this load-bearing wall 10 has a structure in which the mounting portions 21 and 22 provided at both ends of the diagonal member 2 made of a flat bar with its main surface side (front surface side) positioned parallel to the wall surface within the wall surface are connected to the connecting members 3 and 4 on the building frame side. In addition, this load-bearing wall 10 is provided with studs, plywood, gypsum board and the like on the outer surface side of such an internal structure.
[0020] In the mounting portion 21 on the upper side of the diagonal member 2, for example, a through hole is formed in a direction orthogonal to the wall surface of the load-bearing wall 10, and a through hole is also formed in the upper connecting member 3 in a direction orthogonal to the wall surface of the load-bearing wall 10. The bolt of the bolt and nut 7 is inserted through the through hole, and the nut is tightened onto the bolt, whereby the mounting portion 21 is fixed to the upper connecting member 3. The nut of the bolt and nut 7 may be fixed to the upper connecting member 3 by welding or the like.
[0021] On the other hand, the lower tension mounting portion 22 includes, as also shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3, two flange plates 22a (for example, 50 mm in width and 3.2 mm in plate thickness) each having one end fixed to each edge side (narrow side surface) of the diagonal member 2 by welding, and an end plate 22b fixed to the other end side of these flange plates 22a. The end plate 22b has a substantially quadrangular shape, and the other end portion of each flange plate 22a is welded to the side surfaces thereof that are arranged facing away from each other. In addition, the end plate 22b is spaced apart from the small end surface (end face) of the diagonal member 2, and the threaded portion (male threaded portion) of the headed bolt 5 to be described later is positioned at this spaced location. An insertion hole 22c is formed on the center side of the end plate 22b in the direction of the center line of the diagonal member 2.
[0022] In this embodiment, the diagonal member connection structure 1 is configured such that the lower mounting portion 22 for tensioning is connected to the lower connecting member 4. The lower connecting member 4 comprises two gusset plates 42 directly welded to the side surface of the steel pipe column 100, and a connecting plate 43 fixed to the upper surface of the gusset plates 42 and facing the end plate 22b. The connecting plate 43 protrudes from the two gusset plates 42 and is welded to the two gusset plates 42 on the outside of this protrusion.
[0023] Furthermore, the connecting plate 43 has an insertion hole 43a formed in the direction of the centerline of the diagonal member 2, and the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 protrudes upward from this insertion hole 43a, and a clamping nut 61 is screwed onto the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 on the upper surface of the connecting plate 43. The end plate 22b and the connecting plate 43 are separated by, for example, about 30 mm in the direction of the centerline of the diagonal member 2, according to the design.
[0024] The threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 is inserted through the insertion hole 22c of the end plate 22b, and the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 protrudes at the aforementioned gap between the end plate 22b and the end of the diagonal member 2. On the lower side of the end plate 22b, a clamping nut 62 is screwed onto the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 in the middle, and on the upper side of the end plate 22b, a female threaded nut 63 is screwed onto the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 that protrudes at the aforementioned gap. A spring washer 65 is interposed between each nut 61, 62, 63 and the member.
[0025] As shown in Figure 4, when the nut 63, which is screwed onto the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 protruding from the spaced-out area, is screwed in, the nut 63 moves downward, and the end plate 22b is pulled towards the connecting plate 43. In other words, the mounting portion 22 of the diagonal member 2 is connected to the lower connecting member 4 by the screwing of the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 and the nut 63, and is pulled towards the lower connecting member 4 by the displacement of the nut 63 due to the screwing in of the nut 63. This makes it easy to tension the diagonal member 2.
[0026] Even when a predetermined tension is applied to the diagonal member 2, the separation between the end plate 22b of the mounting portion 22 and the connecting plate 43 is maintained. When the predetermined tension is applied as described above, the nut 62 is tightened on the underside of the end plate 22b, which prevents the nut 63 from loosening.
[0027] Note that in Figure 4, for convenience and to make it easier to show the positional relationship of the members, the mounting portion 22 is shown to be far apart from the lower connecting member 4. In the on-site construction of the shear wall 10, for example, the mounting portion 21 on the other side of the diagonal member 2 is first connected to the upper connecting member 3 with a bolt and nut 7. In this connected state, the mounting portion 22 on one side is positioned away from the connecting plate 43, and in this separated state, the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5 provided on the connecting plate 43 side is passed through the insertion hole 22c and protrudes upward, and the nut 63 can be screwed onto this protruding threaded portion. The side of the end plate 22b on which the locking member 221 is not joined is open, so a tool can be inserted from this open side and the nut 63 can be screwed on.
[0028] As shown in Figure 5, the distance between the two gusset plates 42 at their tips is narrower than the distance between their base ends on the steel pipe column 100 side. In this embodiment, the base ends of the two gusset plates 42 on the steel pipe column 100 side are fixed by fillet welding to a flat area as close as possible to the R-shaped edge of the side surface of the steel pipe column 100. Furthermore, the distance between the two gusset plates 42 is wider than the parallel plane width of the hexagonal head of the headed bolt 5 and smaller than the diagonal distance where the headed bolt 5 is located, thereby preventing rotation of the inserted headed bolt 5. In addition, the distance between the two gusset plates 42 at their tips, near the connecting plate 43, is such that a finger can be inserted. Moreover, the gusset plates 42 have an inclined shape that widens towards the connecting plate 43, and the distance between the two gusset plates 42 at their tips narrows as they approach the connecting plate 43. Furthermore, since the arrangement angle of the diagonal members 2 changes depending on the width of the load-bearing wall 10 (for example, 910mm to 1820mm), the distance W between the side of the steel pipe column 100 and the edge of the connecting plate 43 also changes accordingly.
[0029] With the above configuration, the distance between the tip ends of the two gusset plates 42 is narrower than the distance between the base ends of the two gusset plates 42 on the steel pipe column 100 side. Therefore, the thickness of the connecting plate 43 can be made thinner compared to a structure in which the distance between the two gusset plates 42 is simply widened to the same distance as the base end distance.
[0030] Furthermore, if the base ends of the two gusset plates 42 on the steel pipe column 100 side are welded and fixed to the flat edge of the side surface of the steel pipe column 100, then even if the steel pipe column 100 has a thin plate thickness, the gusset plates 42 can be directly welded and fixed to the side surface of the steel pipe column 100 without having to separately weld a mounting plate (reinforcement plate) to the side surface of the steel pipe column 100.
[0031] Furthermore, if the distance between the tips of the two gusset plates 42 is wider than the width of the head of the headed bolt 5 at the insertion hole 43a, and the distance is such that the head does not rotate, then it is not necessary to hold the headed bolt 5 in place with a tool to prevent it from rotating, thus improving workability.
[0032] If the distance between the two gusset plates 42 on the tip side near the connecting plate 43 is such that a finger can be inserted, the headed bolt 5 can be easily inserted between the two gusset plates 42 by holding it with a finger.
[0033] If the distance between the two gusset plates 42 at their ends narrows as they approach the connecting plate 43, the headed bolt 5 can be easily inserted between the two gusset plates 42 by utilizing the wider gap.
[0034] In the example above, the upper mounting portion 21 of the diagonal member 2 was fixed to the upper connecting member 3 by a bolt and nut 7, but it is not limited to this. As shown in Figures 6 and 7, the upper mounting portion 21A of the diagonal member 2 may be fixed to the upper connecting member 3A by a headed bolt 5A and a nut 5B. In other words, the diagonal member connection structure 1A may be such that the non-tensioned mounting portion 21A is connected to the upper connecting member 3A.
[0035] The mounting portion 21A is also positioned spaced apart from the end face of the diagonal member 2 and includes a substantially rectangular end plate 21b on the other side having an insertion hole in the direction of the centerline of the diagonal member 2, and the opposite sides of the end plate 21b are fixed to two flange plates 21a, 21a fixed to each edge side of the diagonal member 2, respectively.
[0036] The upper connecting member 3A, which is connected to the mounting portion 21A, has two gusset plates 32 spaced apart in the wall thickness direction of the load-bearing wall 10. A connecting plate 33 is fixed to the lower ends of the two gusset plates 32, facing the end plate 21b. The end plate 21b protrudes from the two gusset plates 32 and is welded to the two gusset plates 42 on the outside of this protrusion. In addition, a connecting portion side insertion hole 33a is formed in the connecting portion side insertion hole 33a in the direction of the center line of the diagonal member 2, and the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5A protrudes downward from this connecting portion side insertion hole 33a.
[0037] The nut 5B is screwed onto the threaded portion of the headed bolt 5A on the underside of the end plate 21b, thereby tightly fixing (non-tensioned) the end plate 21b to the upper connecting member 3A.
[0038] Similar to the gusset plate 42, the distance between the two gusset plates 32 at their tips may be narrower than the distance between their base ends on the steel pipe column 100 side. The base ends of the two gusset plates 32 on the steel pipe column 100 side may be fixed by fillet welding to a flat area as close as possible to the R-shaped edge of the side of the steel pipe column 100. Furthermore, the distance between the two gusset plates 32 may be wider than the parallel plane width of the hexagonal head of the headed bolt 5 and smaller than the diagonal distance at the location where the hexagonal head is located. The distance between the tips of the two gusset plates 32 may also be wide enough for a finger to be inserted. Additionally, the gusset plate 32 has an inclined shape that widens towards the connecting plate 33, and the distance between the tips of the two gusset plates 32 may narrow as it approaches the connecting plate 33.
[0039] Although embodiments of this invention have been described above with reference to the drawings, this invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments. Various modifications and variations can be made to the illustrated embodiments within the same scope as this invention, or within the equivalent scope. [Explanation of symbols]
