[0004] In the above conventional technique, a vortex flow in the same direction is generated over the entire length of the cylindrical body. However, the present inventor has found that by combining (in other words, connecting in series) vortex flows with mutually different directions to generate turbulent flow in addition to the vortex flows, the fluid can be activated very efficiently.
[0005] Accordingly, in one aspect, an object of the present invention is to provide a technique that allows a fluid to pass therethrough and be efficiently activated.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] To solve the above problems, the fluid flow activation apparatus according to the present invention may have a cylindrical body and a helical fin loaded inside the cylindrical body, wherein the helical fin may include at least one left-handed helical fin element and at least one right-handed helical fin element.
[0007] The fluid flow activation apparatus according to the present invention comprises a cylindrical body and helical fins loaded inside the cylindrical body, wherein the helical fins may be formed by connecting and linking at least one left-handed helical fin element, at least one right-handed helical fin element, and at least one left-handed helical fin element in order from the side into which the fluid flows into the cylindrical body.
[0008] The fluid flow activation apparatus according to the present invention may be configured such that at least one of the left-handed spiral fin element and the right-handed spiral fin element is made of ceramics.
[0009] The fluid flow activation apparatus according to the present invention may be configured such that the ratio of the diameter of the helix in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction to the dimension in the axial direction of the left-handed spiral fin element and the right-handed spiral fin element is 0.9 or more and 1.3 or less. [Effects of the Invention]
[0010] According to the present invention, in one respect, it is possible to efficiently activate the fluid by allowing it to flow. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[Figure 5] This figure shows the right-handed spiral fin elements that make up the spiral fins of the fluid flow activation device shown in Figure 1. [Modes for carrying out the invention]
[0012] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0013] (Overall configuration / Functional configuration) Figures 1 to 5 show a fluid flow activation apparatus 1 according to an embodiment, which is an example of a specific configuration of the fluid flow activation apparatus according to the present invention.
[0014] The fluid flow activation apparatus 1 according to this embodiment has a cylindrical body 4 and a helical fin 5 loaded inside the cylindrical body 4, and the helical fin 5 is formed by the coupling and connection of two left-handed helical fin elements 5L, three right-handed helical fin elements 5R, and three left-handed helical fin elements 5L, in order from the side into which the fluid flows into the cylindrical body 4.
[0015] The fluid flow activation apparatus 1 according to this embodiment includes an input connection port 2, an output connection port 3, a cylindrical body 4, and a helical fin 5.
[0016] The fluid flow activation device 1 is constructed by connecting an input connection port 2, a cylindrical body 4, and an output connection port 3 in that order, and by loading a spiral fin 5 inside the cylindrical body 4.
[0017] The input connection port 2 has one end (specifically, the upstream end of the fluid flow activation device 1 in use) connected to a water supply pipe (not shown), such as a water pipe, and the other end (specifically, the downstream end of the fluid flow activation device 1 in use) connected to the cylindrical body 4, thereby connecting the upstream water supply pipe of the fluid flow activation device 1 with the cylindrical body 4.
[0018] A fluid (e.g., water; the same applies hereinafter) that flows into the input connection port 2 from the water supply pipe (not shown) on the upstream side of the fluid flow activation treatment device 1 passes through the cylinder 4, is discharged from the output connection port 3, and is supplied to the water supply pipe (not shown) on the downstream side of the fluid flow activation treatment device 1.
[0019] The input connection port 2 has a hollow cylindrical portion 21 that is open at both ends in the axial direction, a flange portion 22 is formed at the peripheral edge on the side connected to the cylinder 4, and a bearing plate 23 is provided at the open end facing the inside of the cylinder 4.
[0020] The bearing plate 23 of the input connection port 2 is installed across the open end of the input connection port 2 that faces toward the inside of the cylinder 4.
[0021] One end of the output connection port 3 (specifically, the upstream end of the fluid flow activation treatment device 1 in use) is connected to the cylinder 4, and the other end (specifically, the downstream end of the fluid flow activation treatment device 1 in use) is connected to a water supply pipe (not shown) such as a tap water pipe, so as to communicate the cylinder 4 with the water supply pipe on the downstream side of the fluid flow activation treatment device 1.
[0022] The output connection port 3 has a hollow cylindrical portion 31 that is open at both ends in the axial direction, a flange portion 32 is formed at the peripheral edge on the side connected to the cylinder 4, and a bearing plate 33 is provided at the open end facing the inside of the cylinder 4.
[0023] The bearing plate 33 of the output connection port 3 is installed across the open end of the output connection port 3 that faces toward the inside of the cylinder 4.
[0024] The cylinder 4 is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape that is open at both ends in the axial direction. The cylinder 4 has a flange portion 41 at the peripheral edge of each of both end portions in the axial direction of the cylinder 4.
[0025] The input connection port 2 is fixed to one open end in the axial direction of the cylindrical body 4 (specifically, the upstream open end of the fluid flow activation device 1 in use) by a bolt (not shown) and a nut (not shown) that pass through the flange portion 22 and the flange portion 41, with the end face of the flange portion 22 facing and in contact with the end face of the flange portion 41 of the cylindrical body 4.
[0026] The output connection port 3 is fixed to the other open end in the axial direction of the cylindrical body 4 (specifically, the downstream open end of the fluid flow activation device 1 in use) by a bolt (not shown) and a nut (not shown) that pass through the flange portion 32 and the flange portion 41, with the end face of the flange portion 32 facing and in contact with the end face of the flange portion 41 of the cylindrical body 4.
[0027] The input connection port 2 and output connection port 3 may be fixed to the flange portion 41 of the cylindrical body 4 by other means, for example, by adhesive.
[0028] A sealing material such as an O-ring (not shown) may be provided between the input connection port 2 and the cylindrical body 4, and between the output connection port 3 and the cylindrical body 4, as needed, to prevent fluid leakage from between them.
[0029] (Spiral fin) The spiral fins 5 are a mechanism for generating a swirling fluid flow inside the cylindrical body 4 by causing the fluid passing through the cylindrical body 4 to swirl.
[0030] The spiral fin 5 is installed so that one end of the spiral fin 5 in the axial direction is fixed to the bearing plate 23 of the input connection port 2 and the other end is fixed to the bearing plate 33 of the output connection port 3, and is positioned and fixed inside the cylindrical body 4 (i.e., the spiral fin 5 itself does not rotate on its axis).
[0031] Furthermore, the axial direction of the input connection port 2, the axial direction of the output connection port 3, the axial direction of the fluid flow activation device 1, and the axial direction of the helical fin 5 are all the same.
[0032] Furthermore, the fluid passing through the fluid flow activation device 1 is considered to pass from the input connection port 2 to the output connection port 3, with the direction of passage coinciding with the axial direction of the fluid flow activation device 1 and the axial direction of the helical fin 5. However, since the fluid flow passing through the fluid flow activation device 1 is a swirling flow, it can be said that the direction of fluid flow passing through the fluid flow activation device 1 is not constant.
[0033] The spiral fin 5 is composed of multiple spiral fin elements connected to each other. Specifically, it is composed of a combination of left-handed spiral fin elements 5L and right-handed spiral fin elements 5R that are connected to each other.
[0034] The left-handed spiral fin element 5L has a central shaft portion 51 and a left-handed spiral fin 52 that is formed in connection with the outer circumferential surface of the central shaft portion 51 and rotates left-handed around the central shaft portion 51 while having a predetermined inclination (see Figure 4). Left-handed rotation means that when viewed from the input connection port 2 side to the output connection port 3 side, the rotation is to the left (i.e., counterclockwise) around the central shaft portion 51.
[0035] The left-rotating spiral fins 52 of the left-rotating spiral fin elements 5L rotate 360° each around the central axis 51 in a counter-clockwise direction.
[0036] The right-handed spiral fin element 5R has a central shaft portion 53 and a right-handed spiral fin 54 that is formed in connection with the outer circumferential surface of the central shaft portion 53 and rotates clockwise around the central shaft portion 53 while having a predetermined inclination (see Figure 5). Note that "right-handed" means that when viewed from the input connection port 2 side to the output connection port 3 side, the rotation is to the right (i.e., clockwise) around the central shaft portion 53.
[0037] The right-handed spiral fins 54 of the right-handed spiral fin element 5R rotate 360° each around the central axis 53.
[0038] It is preferable that the gap between the inner surface of the cylindrical body 4 and the outer edges of the left-rotating fins 52 and right-rotating fins 54 of the spiral fins 5 be small. For example, it is preferable that the gap be as small as possible without causing any problems such as the spiral fins 5 getting caught when being inserted into the inside of the cylindrical body 4.
[0039] The helical fin elements that make up the helical fin 5 (specifically, the left-handed helical fin element 5L and the right-handed helical fin element 5R) are formed using ceramics. By using ceramics as the material for forming the helical fin 5, and by water passing through the fluid flow activation device 1 (specifically, the cylindrical body 4 in which the helical fin 5 is installed), calcium ions and other substances are generated from the ceramics, which helps prevent rust in the water pipe downstream of the fluid flow activation device 1, and also makes the water suitable for drinking because it contains mineral components.
[0040] In the example shown in the figure, two left-handed spiral fin elements 5L (symbols 5La, 5Lb), three right-handed spiral fin elements 5R (symbols 5Ra, 5Rb, 5Rc), and three left-handed spiral fin elements 5L (symbols 5Lc, 5Ld, 5Le) are connected and joined together in the direction from the input connection port 2 to the output connection port 3 along the axial direction of the cylindrical body 4 and the spiral fin 5 (i.e., in order from the side into which the fluid flows into the cylindrical body 4).
[0041] The number and order of the helical fin elements that make up the helical fin 5 are not limited to the example shown in the figure, and the helical fin 5 is constructed by combining and connecting at least one left-handed helical fin element 5L and at least one right-handed helical fin element 5R.
[0042] The spiral fin 5 includes, in other words, at least one left-handed spiral fin element 5L and at least one right-handed spiral fin element 5R, and there are no restrictions on the contents of A through D below. a) Number of left-handed spiral fin elements 5L (at least one) (i) Number of clockwise spiral fin elements 5R (at least one) (c) The relative number of left-handed spiral fin elements 5L and the number of right-handed spiral fin elements 5R (they may be different or the same). E) The order of connection between the left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the right-handed spiral fin element 5R.
[0043] The axial dimensions of the left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the axial dimensions of the right-handed spiral fin element 5R may be the same (both denoted by the symbol L in Figures 4 and 5).
[0044] Furthermore, the outer edge diameter of the left-rotating spiral fin 52 in a view perpendicular to the axial direction of the left-rotating spiral fin element 5L (i.e., the diameter of the spiral in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction) and the outer edge diameter of the right-rotating spiral fin 54 in a view perpendicular to the axial direction of the right-rotating spiral fin element 5R (i.e., the diameter of the spiral in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction) may be the same (both denoted by the symbol D in Figures 4 and 5).
[0045] For the left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the right-handed spiral fin element 5R, the ratio of the outer edge diameter D of the spiral fins 52 and 54 in a view perpendicular to the axial direction (i.e., the diameter of the spiral in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction) D to the dimension L in the axial direction (i.e., D / L) is not limited to a specific value, but is preferably 0.9 or more and 1.3 or less, more preferably 1.0 or more and 1.2 or less, and even more preferably around 1.1. By setting D / L to 0.9 or more and 1.3 or less, when the fluid passes through the cylindrical body 4, a good swirling flow of the fluid can be generated inside the cylindrical body 4, and pressure loss (pressure drop, obstruction of flow) can be suppressed to an appropriate range.
[0046] (function) Fluid flows into the cylindrical body 4 from the upstream water supply pipe (not shown) of the fluid flow activation device 1, through the input connection port 2. The fluid flowing into the cylindrical body 4 comes into contact with the helical fins 5 and, in the example shown in the figure, becomes a swirling flow, first swirling counterclockwise, then clockwise, and then counterclockwise again. This increases the contact between the fluid and the helical fins 5.
[0047] The fluid, which swirls inside the cylindrical body 4 and makes sufficient contact with the spiral fins 5, is discharged from the output connection port 3 and supplied to the water supply pipe (not shown) downstream of the fluid flow activation treatment device 1.
[0048] The electromagnetic waves in the far-infrared or terahertz frequency range constantly emitted from the ceramic spiral fins 5 used here resonate with the bending and stretching vibrations inherent to water molecules. As a result, the strengthened vibrations of the water molecule chains alter the fractal structure of calcium nanoparticles in the water, causing large clumps of calcium nanoparticles to break down into smaller clumps and homogenizing the particle size. This leads to the self-reorganization of the water molecule clusters. Through these phenomena and actions, activation occurs through the modification of water.
[0049] This makes it possible to use it for domestic water, agricultural water, aquaculture water, and industrial water, achieving effective results tailored to its intended purpose. For example, in drinking water, it becomes more palatable by breaking down and removing odors and harmful substances. It is also expected to promote plant growth and, in aquaculture, accelerate animal growth.
[0050] Furthermore, the rotation caused by the swirling flow makes it difficult for mineral components contained in the fluid to adhere to the spiral fins 5, and these mineral components are hydrated and released from the fluid flow activation treatment device 1. It is also effective as a measure against red rust, and not only is it difficult for red rust to occur, but it is also expected to gradually decrease.
[0051] (Effects and Benefits) According to the fluid flow activation apparatus 1 of this embodiment, the helical fins 5 loaded inside the cylindrical body 4 include left-handed helical fin elements 5L and right-handed helical fin elements 5R. This allows for the effective generation of a swirling fluid flow inside the cylindrical body 4, enabling efficient fluid circulation and activation. In particular, by combining (in other words, creating in a continuous sequence) vortex flows with mutually different directions to generate turbulence in addition to the vortex flow, it is possible to activate the fluid very efficiently.
[0052] Although embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the specific configurations of the present invention are not limited to the embodiments described above. The present invention also includes forms in which modifications and changes are made to the above embodiments without departing from the spirit of the invention.
[0053] For example, in the above embodiment, the left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the right-handed spiral fin element 5R are formed using ceramics, but the material of the left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the right-handed spiral fin element 5R is not limited to ceramics. The material of the left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the right-handed spiral fin element 5R may be appropriately selected according to the effect on the fluid circulating inside the cylindrical body 4 and the function to be imparted to the fluid. The left-handed spiral fin element 5L and the right-handed spiral fin element 5R may be formed from the same material, or they may be formed from different materials. For example, only one of the left-handed spiral fin element 5L or the right-handed spiral fin element 5R may be formed using ceramics.
[0054] Furthermore, although the above embodiment mainly described a method in which a liquid is circulated inside the cylindrical body 4 and activated, the substance circulating inside the cylindrical body 4 is not limited to a liquid, and the effect (in other words, the function imparted) on the substance circulating inside the cylindrical body 4 is not limited to (simple) activation. A gas may be circulated inside the cylindrical body 4. In addition, the effect on the fluid circulating inside the cylindrical body 4 and the function imparted to the fluid may be, for example, the mixing of multiple types of fluids, the addition of predetermined components, temperature control, or the acceleration of chemical reactions of the fluid (various functions including the above functions are also included in the fluid flow activation treatment). [Industrial applicability]
[0055] The fluid flow activation apparatus according to the present invention can effectively generate a swirling fluid flow inside a cylindrical body, and is therefore useful, for example, in fields that perform various control and processing operations on various fluids. [Explanation of symbols]
