Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a battery tape and a battery to which the same is attached.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] A secondary battery, unlike a non-rechargeable primary battery, is a battery capable of charging and discharging. Low-capacity secondary batteries are used in portable small electronic devices such as smartphones, feature phones, notebook personal computers, digital cameras and camcorders, and high-capacity secondary batteries are widely used as motor drive power supplies and power storage batteries for hybrid vehicles, electric vehicles and the like. Such a secondary battery includes an electrode assembly composed of an anode and a cathode, a case accommodating the same, electrode terminals connected to the electrode assembly, and the like.
[0003] In the case of a battery used in a portable small electronic device, the battery may be configured to be separated and replaced from the electronic device by a user as needed. A pull tab tape may be attached to the battery so that the battery can be separated from the electronic device. A user can pull the pull tab tape to separate the battery from the electronic device. At this time, the pull tab tape must provide adhesive force so that the state in which the battery is attached to the pull tab tape can be maintained to prevent the battery from falling.
[0004] The above information disclosed in the background art of the present invention is only for improving the understanding of the background of the present invention, and therefore may include information that does not constitute the prior art.

[0041] The terms used herein are for the purpose of describing embodiments of the disclosure and are not intended to limit the disclosure.
[0042] Figure 1 is a plan view showing an example of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, and Figure 2 is a plan view showing a first embodiment of the first side attachment portion and the reinforcing attachment portion in the battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0043] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, a battery tape (100) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may include: a base attachment portion (200) attached to at least a portion of the first surface of a battery cell; a first side attachment portion (300) extending to one side of the base attachment portion (200) and attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell, which is the surface opposite to the first surface of the battery cell; a second side attachment portion (500) extending to the other side of the base attachment portion (200) and attached to the other side of the second surface of the battery cell; and a reinforcing attachment portion (400) extending from the first side attachment portion (300) and attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell to reinforce the adhesive force of the first side attachment portion (300).
[0044] The base attachment portion (200) may include a base attachment portion body (210) formed in a manner corresponding to the first surface of the battery cell, a base adhesive layer (220) formed on at least a portion of one surface of the base attachment portion body (210) and attached to the first surface of the battery cell, and a base non-adhesive region (230) on the base attachment portion body (210) where the base adhesive layer (220) is not formed.
[0045] In one embodiment, if the first surface of the battery cell is formed in a rectangular shape, the base attachment body (210) may also be formed in a rectangular shape of a corresponding shape and size. The base attachment body (210) may be formed in a shape and size that encloses the entire first surface of the battery cell.
[0046] If the base attachment body (210) is formed in a rectangular shape, the base adhesive layer (220) can be formed in the entire area of the base attachment body (210) excluding the four corner regions. That is, non-adhesive base regions (230) can be formed at the four corners of the base attachment body (210).
[0047] As a comparative example, if a non-adhesive base area (230) is not formed on the base attachment body (210), and an adhesive base layer (220) is formed on the front surface of the base attachment body (210), and then the battery tape (100) is attached to the battery cell, when a torsional load is applied to the battery cell, the adhesive force of the adhesive base layer (220) may weaken or detach from the battery cell at the four corner regions of the base attachment body (210). In this case, abnormal noise may be generated at the parts of the base attachment body (210) where the adhesive force has weakened or where it has detached.
[0048] Therefore, in the four corner regions of the base attachment body (210), where the adhesive force may weaken or the base may detach, non-adhesive base regions (230) are formed without a base adhesive layer, thereby preventing the generation of abnormal noise.
[0049] In one embodiment, the non-adhesive base region (230) can be formed in a triangular shape at the four corners of the base adhesive body (210), as shown in Figure 1. Of course, it is not limited to this, and the non-adhesive base region (230) can also be formed in an "L" shape at the four corners of the base adhesive body (210). In other words, the non-adhesive base region (230) can be formed in any shape as long as the base adhesive layer (220) is not formed in the parts of the base adhesive body (210) where the adhesive force may weaken or detach.
[0050] The second side attachment portion (500) may include a second side attachment portion body (510) extending to the other side of the base attachment portion (200), and a grip portion (520) extending from the second side attachment portion body (510).
[0051] The second side attachment body (510) may be formed to be the same size as or similar to the base attachment body (200) in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction extending from the base attachment body (200). The second side attachment body (510) may be attached to the other side of the second surface of the battery cell, enclosing the other side of the battery cell, after the base attachment body (200) has been attached to the first surface of the battery cell.
[0052] The grip portion (520) extends from the second side attachment body (510) in the width direction (X) of the battery tape (100), and the size of the grip portion (520) in the height direction (Y) may be smaller than the size of the second side attachment body (510) in the height direction (Y). The height direction (Y) of the grip portion (520) may be perpendicular to the width direction (X) of the battery tape (100).
[0053] A second adhesive layer (530) may be formed on the second side attachment body (510) and the grip portion (520). In one embodiment, the second adhesive layer (530) may include a strong adhesive layer (531) and a weak adhesive layer (532). The strong adhesive layer (531) may be formed along the outermost periphery of the second side attachment body (510) and the grip portion (520), and the weak adhesive layer (532) may be formed inside the strong adhesive layer (531). However, the positions in which the strong adhesive layer (531) and the weak adhesive layer (532) are formed are not limited to these, and the positions in which the strong adhesive layer (531) and the weak adhesive layer (532) are formed may change as needed.
[0054] Furthermore, a second non-adhesive area (521) may be formed at both corners of the end of the grip portion (520), where the second adhesive layer is not formed. The second non-adhesive area (521) may be an area provided to allow the user to easily separate the grip portion (520) from the battery cell. In one embodiment, the second non-adhesive area (521) may be formed in the shape of a rectangle. Of course, it is not limited to this, and the second non-adhesive area (521) may be formed in the shape of a triangle, an "L" shape, or the like. For example, the grip portion (520) separated from the battery cell may be configured to be grasped and pulled by the user, and may be used when separating the battery from an electronic device.
[0055] The battery tape (100) may further include a strong adhesive portion (600) formed by linking a base adhesive portion (200) and a second side adhesive portion (500). The strong adhesive portion (600) may be formed in part on the base adhesive portion body (210) and in part on the second side adhesive portion body (510) along the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the second side adhesive portion (500) extends from the base adhesive portion (200). The strong adhesive portion (600) may be formed in a size smaller than the base adhesive portion body (210) and the second side adhesive portion body (510) in the height direction (Y), which is the direction perpendicular to the width direction (X). The strong adhesive portion (600) may be formed in the central region of the base adhesive portion body (210) and the second side adhesive portion body (510) in the height direction (Y). The strong adhesive portion (600) may be formed at a predetermined distance from the strong adhesive layer (531) formed along the outermost periphery of the second side attachment portion body (510).
[0056] In one embodiment, the strong adhesive portion (600) may be formed of an adhesive layer with stronger adhesive force than the base adhesive layer (220) and the weak adhesive layer (532) of the second adhesive layer (530). The strong adhesive portion (600) may be formed to have the same or similar adhesive force as the strong adhesive layer (531) of the second adhesive layer (530), the first adhesive layer (320), and the reinforcing adhesive layer (420).
[0057] The first side attachment portion (300) may include a first side attachment portion body (310) extending to one side of the base attachment portion (200), and a first adhesive layer (320) formed on the front surface or a portion of one surface of the first side attachment portion body (310) and attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell. In one embodiment, the first adhesive layer (320) may be formed on a portion of the first side attachment portion body (310). The area of the first side attachment portion body (310) where the first adhesive layer (320) is not formed may be a first non-adhesive area (330). The first non-adhesive area (330) may be formed between the first adhesive layer (320) and the base attachment portion (200).
[0058] The first side attachment body (310) may be formed in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction extending from the base attachment body (200), to the same or similar size as the base attachment body (200). The first side attachment body (310) may be attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell, enclosing one side of the battery cell, after the base attachment body (200) has been attached to the first surface of the battery cell. The first non-adhesive region (330) may be the portion that encloses one side of the battery cell. In one embodiment, the first non-adhesive region (330) may not be formed, and the first adhesive layer (320) may be formed entirely on one surface of the first side attachment body (310).
[0059] Referring to Figures 1 and 2, the reinforcing attachment portion (400) may include a reinforcing attachment portion body (410) extending from the first side attachment portion (300), and a reinforcing adhesive layer (420) formed on one surface of the reinforcing attachment portion body (410) and attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell. The reinforcing attachment portion (400) may be attached to both the first side attachment portion (300) and one side of the second surface of the battery cell. The reinforcing attachment portion (400) may be configured to extend from the first side attachment portion (300) and reinforce the adhesive force of the first side attachment portion (300). That is, the size of the first side attachment portion (300) is predetermined and not changed, and the size or adhesive force of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) can be designed to correspond to the required reinforcing adhesive force.
[0060] The size of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) can be set such that the sum of the adhesive strength of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell is the same as the adhesive strength of the second side attachment portion (500) attached to the other side of the second surface of the battery cell.
[0061] Referring to Figure 2, in one embodiment, the reinforcing attachment portion (400) may have at least one of the following dimensions: a width (X) dimension (W) extending from the first side attachment portion (300), and a height (Y) dimension (L) perpendicular to the width (X), depending on the magnitude of the reinforcing adhesive force required to reinforce the adhesive force of the first side attachment portion (300). If a relatively large adhesive force reinforcement is required, at least one of the width (X) dimension (W) or height (Y) dimension (L) of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) can be made larger. Of course, the height (Y) dimension (L) of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) may be the same as or smaller than the height (Y) dimension of the first side attachment portion (300).
[0062] In one embodiment, the sum of the adhesive forces of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell may be set to 0.8 to 1.2 times the adhesive force of the second side attachment portion (500) attached to the other side of the second surface of the battery cell. To balance the adhesive forces of the attachment portions attached to both sides of the second surface of the battery cell, the adhesive forces of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) may be set to be the same as the adhesive force of the second side attachment portion (500).
[0063] The adhesive strength can vary depending on the adhesive layer formed on the attachment surface. In one embodiment, if the first adhesive layer (320), the reinforcing adhesive layer (420), and the second adhesive layer (530) have different adhesive strengths per unit area, the adhesive strengths of the first adhesive layer (320), the reinforcing adhesive layer (420), and the second adhesive layer (530) can be compared, and the adhesive layers can be formed to be the same or similar in magnitude.
[0064] In one embodiment, the total adhesive area of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) attached to one side of the second surface of the battery cell may be set to be 0.8 to 1.2 times the adhesive area of the second side attachment portion (500) attached to the other side of the second surface of the battery cell. To balance the adhesive strength of the attachment portions attached to both sides of the second surface of the battery cell, the adhesive areas of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) may be set to be the same as the adhesive area of the second side attachment portion (500).
[0065] The adhesive strength can vary depending on the adhesive layer formed on the attachment surface. In one embodiment, if the first adhesive layer (320), the reinforcing adhesive layer (420), and the second adhesive layer (530) have the same adhesive strength per unit area, the amount of adhesive strength can be set according to the area on which the first adhesive layer (320), the reinforcing adhesive layer (420), and the second adhesive layer (530) are formed.
[0066] Figure 3 is a plan view showing a second embodiment of a reinforcing adhesive portion formed on a reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, and Figure 4 is a plan view showing a second embodiment of a first adhesive portion formed on a first side attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0067] Referring to Figure 3, the reinforcing adhesive layer formed on one surface of the reinforcing attachment body (410) may consist of multiple rectangular adhesive layers (421) formed at predetermined intervals in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the first side attachment portion (300) extends from the base attachment portion (200). The reinforcing adhesive layer may include multiple rectangular adhesive layers (421).
[0068] Furthermore, multiple rectangular adhesive layers (421) are formed at predetermined intervals, and non-adhesive regions (421a) may be formed between adjacent rectangular adhesive layers (421). The non-adhesive regions (421a) are areas where no adhesive layer is formed, and may be formed in a direction parallel to the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the first side adhesive portion (300) extends from the base adhesive portion (200). The non-adhesive regions (421a) can prevent the generation of air bubbles between the reinforcing adhesive portion (400) and the second surface of the battery cell when the reinforcing adhesive portion (400) is attached to the second surface of the battery cell. That is, if air bubbles are generated between the reinforcing adhesive portion (400) and the second surface of the battery cell when the reinforcing adhesive portion (400) is attached to the second surface of the battery cell, the area where the air bubbles are generated can be pressurized to move the air bubbles to the non-adhesive regions (421a), and the air bubbles can be discharged to the outside through the non-adhesive regions (421a).
[0069] Referring to Figure 4, a non-adhesive region (321a) may also be formed on the first side attachment portion (300), similar to the reinforced attachment portion (400) in Figure 3. That is, the first adhesive layer (320) may have multiple rectangular adhesive layers (321) formed at predetermined intervals in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the first side attachment portion body (310) extends from the base attachment portion (200). The first adhesive layer may include multiple rectangular adhesive layers (321). With this configuration, the multiple rectangular adhesive layers (321) are formed at predetermined intervals, and non-adhesive regions (321a) may be formed between adjacent rectangular adhesive layers (321). The non-adhesive region (321a) of the first side attachment portion (300) may be formed to connect with the non-adhesive region (421a) of the reinforced attachment portion (400). Therefore, when attaching the first side attachment portion (300) to the second surface of the battery cell, if air bubbles are generated between the first side attachment portion (300) and the second surface of the battery cell, the area where the air bubbles are generated can be pressurized to move the air bubbles to the non-adhesive area (321a), and the air bubbles can be discharged to the outside through the non-adhesive area (321a).
[0070] Figure 5 is a plan view showing a third embodiment of the reinforcing adhesive portion formed on the reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, and Figure 6 is a plan view showing a third embodiment of the first adhesive portion formed on the first side attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0071] Referring to Figure 5, the reinforcing adhesive layer formed on one surface of the reinforcing attachment body (410) can consist of multiple polygonal adhesive layers (422) spaced apart at predetermined intervals. The multiple polygonal adhesive layers (422) can be formed in multiple rows and multiple columns on the reinforcing attachment body (410). In one embodiment, the polygonal adhesive layer (422) can be quadrilateral. Of course, the shape of the polygonal adhesive layer (422) is not limited to this, and it can be formed in various polygonal shapes such as triangles, pentagons, and hexagons. Also, as shown in Figure 5, the polygonal adhesive layers (422) can be uniformly arranged, but this is not limited, and polygons of different shapes can be mixed and arranged.
[0072] In Figure 5, the polygonal adhesive layers (422) are arranged in two rows, but this is not the only option; they can be arranged in three or more rows. In this case, the size of the polygonal adhesive layers (422) can be made smaller.
[0073] Furthermore, multiple polygonal adhesive layers (422) are formed at predetermined intervals, and non-adhesive regions (422a) can be formed between adjacent polygonal adhesive layers (422). The non-adhesive regions (422a) can prevent air bubbles from forming between the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the second surface of the battery cell when the reinforcing attachment portion (400) is attached to the second surface of the battery cell.
[0074] Referring to Figure 6, multiple polygonal adhesive layers (322) can be formed on the first adhesive layer of the first side attachment portion (300) at predetermined intervals. Non-adhesive regions (322a) can be formed between adjacent polygonal adhesive layers (322). The non-adhesive regions (322a) of the first side attachment portion (300) can be formed to connect with the non-adhesive regions (422a) of the reinforcing attachment portion (400). Therefore, when attaching the first side attachment portion (300) to the second surface of the battery cell, it is possible to prevent the generation of air bubbles between the first side attachment portion (300) and the second surface of the battery cell.
[0075] Figure 7 is a plan view showing a fourth embodiment of the reinforcing adhesive portion formed on the reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, and Figure 8 is a plan view showing a fourth embodiment of the first adhesive portion formed on the first side attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0076] Referring to Figure 7, the reinforcing adhesive layer formed on one surface of the reinforcing attachment body (410) may consist of multiple circular or elliptical adhesive layers spaced apart at predetermined intervals. In one embodiment, the reinforcing adhesive layer may be formed of multiple elliptical adhesive layers (423). The multiple elliptical adhesive layers (423) may be formed in multiple rows and multiple columns on the reinforcing attachment body (410). As shown in Figure 7, the elliptical adhesive layers (423) may be uniformly arranged, but are not limited to this, and circular and elliptical adhesive layers may be arranged in a mixed manner. Of course, polygonal, circular, and elliptical adhesive layers may be arranged in a mixed manner.
[0077] In Figure 7, the elliptical adhesive layers (423) are arranged in three rows, but this is not the only arrangement; they can be arranged in one, two, or four or more rows. In this case, the size of the elliptical adhesive layers (423) can be made larger or smaller.
[0078] Furthermore, multiple elliptical adhesive layers (423) are formed at predetermined intervals, and non-adhesive regions (423a) can be formed between adjacent elliptical adhesive layers (423). The non-adhesive regions (423a) can prevent air bubbles from forming between the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the second surface of the battery cell when the reinforcing attachment portion (400) is attached to the second surface of the battery cell.
[0079] Referring to Figure 8, the first adhesive layer of the first side attachment portion (300) may also consist of multiple circular or elliptical adhesive layers spaced apart at predetermined intervals. In one embodiment, the first adhesive layer may include multiple elliptical adhesive layers (323). The elliptical adhesive layers (323) of the first adhesive layer may be formed to the same size and shape as the elliptical adhesive layers (423) of the reinforcing adhesive layer and arranged at the same intervals. Of course, it is not limited to this, and the elliptical adhesive layers (323) of the first adhesive layer may be formed to different sizes from the elliptical adhesive layers (423) of the reinforcing adhesive layer and arranged irregularly.
[0080] Furthermore, non-adhesive regions (323a) can be formed between adjacent elliptical adhesive layers (323). The non-adhesive regions (323a) of the first side attachment portion (300) can be formed to be connected to the non-adhesive regions (423a) of the reinforcing attachment portion (400). Therefore, when attaching the first side attachment portion (300) to the second surface of the battery cell, it is possible to prevent the generation of air bubbles between the first side attachment portion (300) and the second surface of the battery cell.
[0081] Figure 9 is a plan view showing a second embodiment of the reinforcing adhesive body in the reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure; Figure 10 is a plan view showing a third embodiment of the reinforcing adhesive body in the reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure; and Figure 11 is a plan view showing a fourth embodiment of the reinforcing adhesive body in the reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0082] Referring to Figure 9, the reinforcing attachment body (410) may be formed by a plurality of rectangular bodies (411) spaced apart at predetermined intervals in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the first side attachment portion (300) extends from the base attachment portion (200). That is, the reinforcing attachment body (410) may include a plurality of rectangular bodies (411). A reinforcing adhesive layer (420) may be formed on each of the rectangular bodies (411).
[0083] Furthermore, slits (411a) are formed between adjacent rectangular bodies (411), which prevents air bubbles from forming between the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the second surface of the battery cell when the reinforcing attachment portion (400) is attached to the second surface of the battery cell.
[0084] Referring to Figure 10, the reinforcing attachment body (410) may have multiple polygonal bodies (412) formed in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the first side attachment portion (300) extends from the base attachment portion (200). In one embodiment, the polygonal bodies (412) may be triangular in shape. The polygonal bodies (412) may be formed continuously with respect to each other. Of course, the shape of the polygonal bodies (412) is not limited to this, and they may be formed in various polygonal shapes such as pentagons and hexagons. A reinforcing adhesive layer (420) may be formed on each polygonal body (412).
[0085] Referring to Figure 11, the reinforcing attachment body (410) may have multiple semicircular bodies (413) formed in the height direction (Y), which is perpendicular to the width direction (X), which is the direction in which the first side attachment portion (300) extends from the base attachment portion (200). The semicircular bodies (413) may be formed continuously with respect to each other. A reinforcing adhesive layer (420) may be formed on each semicircular body (413).
[0086] Of course, the shape of the reinforcing attachment body (410) is not limited to this, and it may be formed in a semi-elliptical shape, or a mixture of semicircular and semi-elliptical shapes may be arranged. Alternatively, a mixture of polygonal, semicircular, and semi-elliptical shapes may be arranged.
[0087] Figure 12 is a plan view showing an example in which a notch groove is formed in the reinforcing attachment portion of a battery tape according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0088] Referring to Figure 12, the reinforcing attachment portion (400) may include a notched groove (410a) formed to avoid the display portion (23, see Figure 14) formed on the second surface of the battery cell. The surface of the battery cell may be equipped with a display portion for displaying information about the battery. Therefore, the reinforcing attachment portion (400) may have a notched groove (410a) formed to avoid the display portion so that it does not cover the display portion when it is attached to the second surface of the battery cell. The size and position of the notched groove (410a) may vary depending on the size and position of the display portion located on the second surface of the battery cell.

[0092] The reinforcing attachment portion (400) is configured to reinforce the adhesion force of the first side attachment portion (300), and the size of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) can be set so that the sum of the adhesive forces of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) attached to one side of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20) is the same as the adhesive force of the second side attachment portion (500) attached to the other side of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20).
[0093] In one embodiment, the sum of the adhesive strengths of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) attached to one side of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20) may be set to 0.8 to 1.2 times the adhesive strength of the second side attachment portion (500) attached to the other side of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20). In order to balance the adhesive strengths of the attachment portions attached to both sides of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20), the adhesive strengths of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) may be set to be the same as the adhesive strength of the second side attachment portion (500).
[0094] The adhesive strength can vary depending on the adhesive layer formed on the attachment surface.
[0095] In one embodiment, the total adhesive area of the reinforcing attachment portion (400) and the first side attachment portion (300) attached to one side of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20) may be set to be 0.8 to 1.2 times the adhesive area of the second side attachment portion (500) attached to the other side of the second surface (22) of the battery cell (20).
