Analyzing User Activity on Complex Objects

Abstract

Techniques are disclosed for analyzing user activity related to a composite object. The composite object includes at least a first object and a second object. The first object and the second object may be, for example, objects on which a user in a communications network can perform various activities. By treating the multiple objects as a composite object, the user activity is analyzed to generate an analysis of the user activity related to the composite object. The analysis results provide an indication of whether the user activity corresponds to a particular type of behavior occurring with respect to the composite object. The results indicate whether the user activity corresponds to a manipulation of the state of the composite object or to a manipulation of one or more objects included in the composite object.
