Communication method and device

Abstract

A communication method and apparatus relating to the field of communication technologies are provided, so that when an access network device configures uplink resources for a terminal device, waste of uplink resources can be reduced and network capacity can be improved. The method includes: sending first indication information to the access network device; receiving second indication information from the access network device; and transmitting data to the access network device by using third resources. The first indication information indicates first resources not used by the terminal device, and the first resources are part or all of the second resources, and the second resources are resources configured for the terminal device by the access network device. The second indication information indicates that the access network device reschedules part or all of the first resources, or the second indication information indicates that the access network device does not reschedule part of the first resources, or does not reschedule any of them. The third resources are related to part or all of the first resources indicated by the second indication information, and the third resources are part or all of the second resources.
