Battery Assembly and Battery Pack

Abstract

The present application provides a battery assembly and a battery pack capable of cooling battery cells to minimize performance degradation or safety issues due to heat, a battery assembly and a battery pack capable of preventing or suppressing problems caused by swelling while cooling the battery cells, and a battery assembly and a battery pack capable of more effectively cooling the battery cells by appropriately utilizing space. The present application may provide a battery assembly including a plurality of battery cells and a cooling member interposed between the plurality of battery cells, the cooling member including a body portion having a refrigerant flow path through which a refrigerant flows, an inlet portion communicating with the refrigerant flow path to allow the refrigerant to flow in, and an outlet portion communicating with the refrigerant flow path to allow the refrigerant to flow out, the inlet portion and the outlet portion extending from one side of the body portion corresponding to vent directions of the plurality of battery cells.
