Abstract
The present invention relates to a stator for a radial flux double-rotor machine, particularly a wheel hub motor, comprising: a stator core; a winding disposed within the stator core and configured to be self-supporting for torque support of the stator, the winding protruding from the stator core at one axial end; and a support device disposed axially offset with respect to the stator core and configured to form-fittingly engage with the winding at at least one axial end for torque support. The winding is formed from conductor rods interconnected with each other, and the stator has a radially inner layer made of conductor rods arranged helically in the opposite direction, and a radially outer layer made of conductor rods arranged helically in the opposite direction, each conductor rod being bent at a first conductor rod end and not bent at a second conductor rod end, the stator being arranged such that the first conductor rod ends of the conductor rods in the radially outer layer are bent radially inward and the first conductor rod ends of the conductor rods in the radially inner layer are bent radially outward. The present invention also relates to a stator, a manufacturing method for a stator, and a radial flux double-rotor machine.
