Abstract
A method for producing an aluminum-scandium alloy according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of preparing master alloy ingots of Al-Cu, Al-Mg, Al-Mn, Al-Zn, Al-Ti, and Al-Sc in a nitrogen atmosphere melting furnace at 700-760°C, and then melting the master alloy ingots in a melting furnace at 730-760°C to obtain a final composition of 2.0-4.5 wt% Cu, 2.0-4.5 wt% Mg, 0.001-0.05 wt% Mn, 5.5-10.5 wt% Zn, 0.002-0.05 wt% Ti, 0.006-0.03 wt% Sc, The process includes the steps of: adding an ingot containing unavoidable impurities and the remaining weight part being Al, stirring until the hydrogen content of the alloy is 0.12 ml / 100 g or less; homogenizing the internal structure of the stirred alloy at 400 to 450°C, and aging the alloy in a nitrogen atmosphere melting furnace for 24 hours or more; extruding and rolling the aged alloy; gradually heating the rolled alloy to 480°C; and quenching the heated alloy to 27°C to -198°C.
