Method for manufacturing aluminum alloy sheet material and aluminum alloy sheet material

Abstract

A method for manufacturing a 5-series aluminum alloy sheet material includes the following steps: (1) melting and casting; (2) hot rolling: heating temperature controlled to 500-540°C and held for 2-10 hours, and the starting temperature for rough hot rolling set to 500-540°C; (3) cold rolling; (4) intermediate annealing: the average grain size after intermediate annealing set to 15 μm-40 μm; (5) secondary cold rolling: the deformation amount controlled to 6%-20%. A 5-series aluminum alloy sheet material manufactured by this method is also disclosed. The manufactured 5-series aluminum alloy sheet material possesses high strength and high bending performance.
