Abstract

The vehicle comprises a main body structure defining an interior cabin, and a multi-position seat attached to the main body structure, having a seat cushion and a backrest, and a coupling between the seat cushion and the backrest for positioning the backrest between an upright position and a maximum reclined position. Left and right halo members are fixedly attached to the main body structure, the left halo member having a first restraint surface above, behind, and adjacent to the left shoulder of the seat occupant when the backrest is positioned in the maximum reclined position, and the right halo member having a second restraint surface above, behind, and adjacent to the right shoulder of the occupant when the backrest is positioned in the maximum reclined position.
