Abstract
The present invention provides the use of oleuropein or its derivatives in immunotherapy, particularly as an adjuvant. In particular, the present invention provides the use of oleuropein in combination with checkpoint inhibitors in the treatment of cancer. The present invention also provides combinations comprising oleuropein and checkpoint inhibitors, as well as pharmaceutical compositions and kits of parts comprising these combinations. Advantageously, oleuropein reprograms TAMCs, increasing sensitivity to cancer therapy based on checkpoint inhibitors.
