Multi-access point channel access control

Abstract

A first access point (AP) receives a first frame from a station (STA) indicating a first transmit opportunity (TXOP). Based on the first TXOP, the first AP transmits a second frame to the STA indicating a second TXOP. In one embodiment, transmitting the second frame includes transmitting the second frame during a period following the receipt of the first frame. In one embodiment, this period is equal to a short interframe space (SIFS).
