Abstract

This application provides a battery and electronic equipment. The battery comprises a case, an electrode assembly, a first negative electrode terminal, and a second negative electrode terminal. The electrode assembly is housed in the case. The electrode assembly includes a first laminate and a second laminate. The first laminate includes a first negative electrode piece, a first separator, and a first positive electrode piece laminated along the thickness direction of the electrode assembly. The second laminate includes a second negative electrode piece, a second separator, and a second positive electrode piece laminated along the thickness direction of the electrode assembly. The first negative electrode piece has a first negative electrode active material layer comprising a silicon-based material, the silicon-based material being at least one of silicon, silicon-carbon, and silicon-oxygen. The second negative electrode piece includes a second negative electrode active material layer in which the negative electrode active material is graphite. The first negative electrode terminal is electrically connected to the first negative electrode piece, and the second negative electrode terminal is electrically connected to the second negative electrode piece. The first and second negative electrode terminals extend from inside the case to outside the case and protrude from the case.
