Description

Technical Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a support device for supporting a drawer bottom plate against at least one drawer wall, particularly a front plate, which is to be arranged laterally with respect to the drawer bottom plate, comprising at least one support body, the support body having a first abutting surface for abutting the drawer bottom plate and at least one second abutting surface for abutting at least one support body against the drawer wall, at least one support body having fixing means for fixing the at least one support body to the drawer wall, preferably at least one through-opening for inserting a screw, a support device, a drawer provided with at least one such support device, and a method for assembling such a support device to the drawer.

[0002] Support devices for supporting a drawer bottom plate are already known based on the prior art. In this case, such a support device is formed in the form of an angle bracket and is screwed to the drawer wall. The disadvantage in this case is that the support is basically only carried out directly in the region of the drawer wall. Therefore, the drawer bottom plate sags in the middle.

[0003] As a solution to this problem, based on the prior art, on the one hand, a rail is known which is screwed to the front plate and, on the other hand, to the drawer-facing wall, thus supporting the drawer bottom plate.

[0004] However, such solutions are not easily and flexibly adaptable to the various different loads on the drawer. Also, the assembly of such rails, especially retrofitting, is time-consuming.

[0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a support device that eliminates at least partially the known drawbacks based on the prior art, is improved compared to the prior art, is particularly excellent in that it can easily and flexibly adapt to the load applied to the drawer, can be easily assembled, and can be retrofitted in particular. Furthermore, there is a need to provide a drawer equipped with at least one such improved support device and a method for assembling such a support device to the drawer.

[0006] This problem is solved by the features of claims 1, 11, and 16.

[0007] In a support device according to the present invention for supporting a drawer bottom plate for a drawer, the support body has at least one interface for preferably detachably fixing a support rail, and the drawer bottom plate may be pressed against the support rail.

[0008] At least one interface allows the user to easily install and remove support rails from the support structure. In other words, the drawer bottom plate can be supported by essentially one or more supports. If this support is insufficient or the drawer bottom plate is subjected to a higher load, the user can easily install or add additional support rails for further support of the drawer bottom plate via at least one interface.

[0009] In particular, for this purpose, the support rail may be able to be coupled to the support via at least one interface without the need for tools.

[0010] Furthermore, protection is also required for a drawer, which comprises four drawer walls, preferably two drawer side walls, one front plate, and one drawer facing wall, one drawer bottom plate, and at least one support device according to the present invention, wherein the drawer bottom plate is in contact with a first contact surface of at least one support, and at least one of the four drawer walls, preferably the front plate, is in contact with a second contact surface, and the support is preferably detachably coupled to the drawer wall in contact with the second contact surface via fixing means.

[0011] Furthermore, a method for assembling the support device according to the present invention into a drawer, - At least one support is placed against the drawer bottom plate with a first contact surface and against the drawer wall with a second contact surface, - Insert the fixing means into at least one through-opening of the support, - The fixing element is inserted into the drawer wall, preferably by screwing it in, thereby connecting the support to the drawer wall, preferably in a detachable manner. The method requires protection.

[0012] Further preferred embodiments are provided in further dependent claims.

[0013] It may be specified that at least one interface has a first projection and at least one second projection, the first projection may be inserted into an opening in a support rail, and the at least one second projection may be inserted into a notch provided in the support rail.

[0014] The support rail can be connected to the support at least by shape connection via the protrusions. In this case, each protrusion may be formed larger than the opening or notch, thereby achieving both shape-connection and force-connection.

[0015] This configuration of the interface further allows the support rails to be joined to the support structure without the need for tools.

[0016] Preferably, the first projection and / or at least one second projection may be specified to have a locking element or to be formed as a locking element, preferably as a snap hook.

[0017] This allows for a more secure connection between the support rail and the support structure. Furthermore, such a connection is also detachable, allowing the support rail to be removed again if necessary.

[0018] According to a further embodiment of the present invention, at least one support may have at least one cutting lever for positioning and fixing a drawer bottom plate relative to at least one support.

[0019] This provides additional stability to the bottom plate. In particular, it can also improve the lateral stability of the drawer.

[0020] In this case, preferably, at least one cutting lever is pivotably supported on at least one support, and preferably, the cutting lever may be specified to have at least one cutting section configured to be at least partially pushed into the drawer bottom plate when the cutting lever is rotated.

[0021] This presents a simple possibility for realizing a cutting lever.

[0022] In a preferred embodiment, the support device may be characterized to have at least one support rail which is preferably detachably connectable or connected to a support via at least one interface at a first end, and preferably detachably connectable or connected to a further drawer wall, further support or fixing element at a second end, and a drawer bottom plate may preferably be fitted against the rail along the entire length of the support rail.

[0023] Through such a support rail, the drawer bottom plate can also be supported in the middle thereof. When the drawer bottom plate is applied to this support rail over the entire length of the support rail, particularly effective support of the drawer bottom plate can be achieved.

[0024] The location where the second end of the support rail is arranged may depend, for example, on the structure of the drawer to which the support device is to be assembled and the location where the support device is to be assembled.

[0025] Furthermore, it may be specified that the fixing element has at least one interface for coupling this fixing element to the support rail, and preferably, at least the interface of the fixing element is formed identically to at least one interface of at least one support.

[0026] If the fixing element also has an interface, the coupling of the support rail to the fixing element can also be easily performed. The coupling of the support rail to the fixing element can also preferably be performed without tools.

[0027] Also, it may be specified that the support rail is formed symmetrically with respect to a symmetry plane oriented in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal extension direction of this support rail.

[0028] In particular, if the fixing element has an interface formed identically to the interface of the support, this greatly facilitates the assembly of the support rail. That is, the user does not need to pay attention to whether the proper end of the support device is arranged at the proper interface. This is because both interfaces are configured identically. Therefore, each end of the support rail can be coupled to the support or the fixing element.

[0029] According to one embodiment, the fixing element has a fixing section for fixing this fixing element to a further drawer wall, preferably the drawer front wall, and preferably, this fixing section may be formed in the form of a hook that can be hooked onto the upper edge of the drawer wall.

[0030] That is, the fixing element can be arranged on a further drawer wall facing the drawer wall. In particular, forming the fixing section as a hook represents an easy possibility for fixing the fixing element to a further drawer wall. In this case, the fixing of the fixing element to a further drawer wall can also be carried out without tools.

[0031] Furthermore, it may be specified that the fixing element and / or the support rail has at least one rib for stabilizing the fixing element and / or the support rail.

[0032] This increases the stability of the support rail and / or the fixing element.

[0033] Regarding the drawer according to the present invention, the drawer has a support rail, which is preferably detachably coupled to at least one support at the first end and to one of the four drawer walls, a further support or a fixing element at the second end, preferably detachably. It may be specified that the drawer bottom plate preferably contacts this support rail over the entire length of the support rail.

[0034] The drawer bottom plate can be supported via a support element, and the sagging of the drawer bottom plate can be prevented.

[0035] Furthermore, at least one of the four drawer walls is preferably formed substantially cuboid and / or substantially square in a transverse plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the drawer side wall, and / or the outer cover of at least one of the four drawer walls is preferably formed by a hollow profile having a substantially U-shaped cross-section.

[0036] Furthermore, it may be specified that the drawer bottom plate and at least one of the four drawer walls, preferably the drawer facing wall, are integrally formed with each other, and preferably this drawer facing wall is connected to the drawer bottom plate via an integrally molded hinge.

[0037] Regarding the method according to the present invention, - A further step of rotating the cutting lever, thereby fixing the drawer bottom plate relative to at least one support, - A further step of connecting the support rail to the support (2) and to a further drawer wall, a further support, or preferably a fixing element coupled to the further drawer wall in the preceding step. It is acceptable for such a feature to be provided.

[0038] Further details and advantages of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. [Brief explanation of the drawing]

[Figure 10c] This figure shows the steps for attaching the support shown in Figure 10a to the wall of the pull-out section.

[0040] Figure 1a shows a drawer 100 according to one embodiment in a perspective front view, and Figure 2a shows the same drawer 100 in a perspective rear view.

[0041] In this embodiment, the drawer wall 102 is formed as a front panel, and a further drawer wall 103 is formed as a drawer-facing wall.

[0042] In this case, the drawer wall and the drawer bottom plate 101 are formed to be thin and connected via an integrally molded hinge. In this case, the drawer wall and the drawer bottom plate 101 may be formed as a single unit.

[0043] Furthermore, two drawer side walls 104 can be seen, and a front panel, a drawer bottom panel 101, and a drawer facing wall are arranged on these two drawer side walls 104.

[0044] Figure 2a shows a perspective view of the drawer 100 according to the embodiment shown in Figure 1a, and Figure 2b shows detail A of Figure 2a. It can be seen that a support device 1 is provided, which includes a support 2 for supporting the drawer bottom plate 101.

[0045] In this case, the drawer bottom plate 101 is in contact with the first contact surface 3 (see Figures 3a to 3b), and the support 2 is in contact with the drawer wall 102, which is formed as the front plate, at the second contact surface 4.

[0046] In the illustrated configuration, the fixing means 6, which is in the form of a screw, is inserted into the through-opening 5 (see Figure 3a) and screwed into the front plate.

[0047] In other words, the support 2 is fixed to the front plate via the fixing means 6, and thus can support the drawer bottom plate 101. To put it another way, the force acting on the drawer bottom plate 101 can be more effectively transmitted to the drawer wall 102, in this case the front plate, via the support 2.

[0048] In Figures 2a and 2b, the cutting lever 11 has not yet been operated.

[0049] In this embodiment, only one support 2 is provided. However, naturally, multiple support 2 may be provided.

[0050] Figure 3a shows an exploded view of the support device 1, Figure 3b shows a perspective view of the support device 1, and Figure 3c shows a perspective view of the support device 1 with the cutting lever 11 rotated.

[0051] In this case, the support device 1 comprises a support body 2 formed as a single unit. Therefore, this support body 2 can be easily manufactured by (plastic) injection molding. Of course, other manufacturing methods are also possible.

[0052] However, embodiments comprising an assembled support 2 are also possible.

[0053] A first contact surface 3 can be identified against which the drawer bottom plate 101 may be placed. The second contact surface 4 is located on the side of the support 2 opposite to that shown in the figure.

[0054] Furthermore, an interface 7 for connecting the support rail 8 to the support body 2 can also be recognized. This interface 7 has a first projection 9 and a second projection 10, in which case the first projection 9 can be inserted into an opening 8a provided in the support rail 8, and the second projection 10 can be inserted into a notch 8b in the support rail.

[0055] In this way, a shape-connective connection can be formed between the support 2 and the support rail 8 via the protrusions 9 and 10 and the opening 8a or notch 8b.

[0056] In this case, the first projection 9 may be formed as a locking element, however, the second projection 10 may also be formed as a locking element. A simple possibility for achieving this might be to form the first projection 9 as a snap hook.

[0057] This makes it possible to achieve a more secure connection between the support 2 and the support rail 8.

[0058] For example, as is evident from Figures 3a-3c and 4a-5a, the support 2 has two interfaces 7. This makes it easier to connect the support rail 8 to the support 2, because the user does not need to pay attention to which side the support rail 8 must be connected to the support 2 from.

[0059] A through-opening 5 extending through the support 2 is also shown. A fixing means 6 may be inserted into this through-opening 5.

[0060] The cutting lever 11 has a cutting area 11a, in this embodiment, which comprises four blades. In this case, the cutting lever 11 is pivotably supported on the support 2.

[0061] In Figure 3b, the support device 1 is in a similar position to that in Figures 2a and 2b. That is, the fixing means 6 is inserted into the through-opening 5 and, in this case, screwed into the drawer wall 102. The drawer bottom plate 101 is in contact with the first contact surface 3. The cutting lever 11 has not yet been rotated.

[0062] In Figure 3c, the cutting lever 11 is rotated. It can be seen that the cutting section 11a protrudes beyond the first contact surface 3. In other words, the cutting section 11a is pushed into the drawer bottom plate 101.

[0063] To prevent unintended detachment of the cutting lever 11, the support 11 may be provided with a position-fixing element 2a that fixes the cutting lever 11 in a pivot position. In this embodiment, this position-fixing element 2a is formed as a snap hook. Other embodiments are also possible.

[0064] Figure 4a shows a perspective view of the drawer 100 according to a further embodiment, and Figure 4b shows detail A of Figure 4a.

[0065] In this embodiment, unlike the embodiments shown in Figures 1a and 1b, the support device 1 also has a support rail 8 and a fixing element 12 in addition to the support body 2.

[0066] In this case, the support rail 8 is connected to the support body 2 via interface 7 at its first end 8c and to the fixing element 12 via interface 12a (see Figure 5c) at its second end 8d.

[0067] Figure 5a shows the support device 1 in a perspective view. It can be seen that the first projection 9 of the support body 2 is inserted into the opening 8a, and the second projection 10 of the support body 2 is inserted into the notch 8b. Therefore, the support body 2 and the support rail 8 are connected to each other in a shape-connected manner.

[0068] The figure also clearly shows that the support rail 8 is formed symmetrically with respect to a plane of symmetry oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal extension direction L of the support rail 8.

[0069] In other words, in this example, the support rail 8 may be connected to the support 2 via the interface 7 at either the first end 8c or the second end 8d.

[0070] Figure 5b shows the support device 1 in a further perspective view, in which the support rail 8 is located on the other side of the support 2 in the figure.

[0071] Figure 5c shows a perspective view of the fixing element 12 and a portion of the support rail 8. It can be seen that the fixing element 12 also has two interfaces 12a.

[0072] In this case, interface 12a is formed similarly to interface 7 of support 2. That is, both a first projection 12d that can be inserted into the opening 8a of support rail 8 and a second projection 12e that can be inserted into the notch 8b of support rail 8 can be recognized.

[0073] In this embodiment, the support 2 and the fixing element 12 each have two identically formed interfaces 7, 12a, and the support rail 8 is symmetrical with respect to a plane oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal extension direction L of the support rail 8, which allows for particularly simple assembly of the support rail 8. In other words, the user does not need to pay attention to which end of the support rail 8 is coupled to the support 2 or the fixing element 12, or to which side of the support element 2 or the fixing element 12 the support rail 8 is positioned.

[0074] The fixing element 12 further includes a fixing section 12b, which in the illustrated configuration is formed in the form of a hook. In this embodiment, the hook is sized to hook onto a thin-walled drawer wall. The hook may, of course, be adapted to another embodiment of the drawer wall. The fixing section 12b thus formed makes it possible to fix the fixing element 12 to the drawer wall without tools.

[0075] However, the fixing section 12b may be formed in a manner completely different from the hook. For example, there may be an opening for inserting a fixing means, such as a screw. Alternatively, there may be a projection or similar that can be inserted into an opening provided in the drawer wall. Basically, a number of already known fixing possibilities are possible.

[0076] The fixing element 12 further has ribs 12c for stabilizing the fixing element.

[0077] Figure 6a shows a side view of a further embodiment of the support device 1, Figure 6b shows detail A of Figure 6a, and Figure 6c shows detail B of Figure 6a.

[0078] In this embodiment, the support rail 8 is formed symmetrically in both the horizontal and vertical directions. Therefore, the support rail 8 can be connected to the support body 2 or the fixing element 12 in any orientation, which simplifies installation for the user.

[0079] The support rail 8 has stepped portions 8e at both its first end 8c and its second end 8d. Notches 8b are provided on both sides of the area of the stepped portion 8e. These notches 8b are formed in a substantially parallelogram shape, thereby forming an undercut 8f on one side of the notch 8b.

[0080] Figures 7a and 7b show perspective views of the support body 2 of the support device 1 shown in Figure 6a.

[0081] A first contact surface 3, a second contact surface 4, and a through-opening 5 for inserting the fixing means 6 can be seen. This embodiment does not have a cutting lever 11. However, of course, it is possible to use a cutting lever.

[0082] The support body 2 has two interfaces 7 for fixing the support rail 8. Each interface 7 is provided with a groove 7a that can guide the support rail 8 internally. Furthermore, each interface is provided with one snap element 7b.

[0083] The snap element 7b is elastically formed and has a locking element 7c that can be engaged with a notch 8b in the support rail 8. In particular, this locking element 7 may engage with an undercut 8f. Thus, the support rail is held within the support via the snap element 7b and the groove 7a.

[0084] The snap element 7b further has an extension 7d for detaching the snap element 7b. The connection between the support 2 and the support rail 8 can be detached via this extension 7d.

[0085] Figures 8a to 8d show different diagrams of the fixing element 12 of the support device 1 shown in Figure 6a. This fixing element 12 may be substantially identical in form to the fixing element 12 shown in Figure 5c. However, the fixing element 12 differs with respect to the interface 12a for fixing the support rail 8. This interface 12a also has one snap element 12f each equipped with a locking element 12g. The locking element 12g may also be locked into a notch 8b of the support rail 8. In this embodiment, a lateral extension 12h for detaching the snap element 12f may also be present.

[0086] In addition to the groove 12i for guiding the support rail 8, a key element 12j is also provided. This key element 12j is used to fix the support rail 8 in a lateral position. This helps to avoid the generation of undesirable noise during the movement of the drawer 100.

[0087] Figures 9a and 9b show perspective views of further embodiments of the support body 2 of the support device 1 shown in Figure 6a.

[0088] In this embodiment, there is no through-opening 5, and the fixing means 6 is directly formed on the support 2.

[0089] The fixing means 6 is substantially T-shaped. Furthermore, the fixing means 6 has a tightening projection 6a in the direction of the second contact surface. The fixing means 6 allows the support 2 to be fixed in the groove 102e of the pull-out wall 102 (see also Figures 10a to 10c).

[0090] Figure 10a shows a drawer wall 102 equipped with the support 2 shown in Figures 9a to 9b, and Figures 10b to 10c show the steps for attaching the support 2 to the drawer wall 102.

[0091] In this embodiment, the drawer wall 102 is the front panel.

[0092] In this case, one base element 102a and two lateral elements 102b are provided. In this case, the base element 102a and the lateral elements 102b form a frame for the decorative element 102d. The decorative element 102d may be, for example, a glass plate.

[0093] A fixing device 102c is provided on the lateral element 102b, which can fix the drawer wall to the drawer side wall 104.

[0094] The base element 102a is provided with a groove 102e having an undercut. In order to fix the support 2, the support 2 is introduced into the groove 102e by the fixing means 6 while in a rotated state, and may then be rotated, thereby supporting the fixing means 6 within the groove 102e. The fixing means 6 is further tightened into the groove 102e via a tightening projection 6a. [Explanation of Symbols]
