Abstract
The present invention provides a purine nucleoside phosphorylase mutant and a method for producing 2'-fluoronucleosides. Here, the purine nucleoside phosphorylase mutant includes (a) a protein in which one or more mutations selected from L148, P19, Q41, etc. have occurred based on the wild-type purine nucleoside phosphorylase enzyme GsPNP represented by SEQ ID NO: 3; or (b) a protein having 70% or more homology to the amino acid sequence limited in (a) and possessing purine nucleoside phosphorylase activity. This invention can solve the problem of low synthesis yield of 2'-fluoronucleosides by enzyme catalysts in the prior art and is suitable for the field of enzyme catalysis.
