Abstract

Various aspects of this disclosure relate, in general, to wireless communications. Several aspects of the techniques described herein can facilitate physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) transmissions for discontinuous resource block (RB) sets. In some aspects, a user device (UE) may perform a PSFCH selection process to select PSFCH communications, and if the remaining PSFCH communications are still located in discontinuous RB sets, the UE may continue to drop PSFCH communications based on one or more rules. In some aspects, the UE may first perform a PSFCH drop operation to form consecutive PSFCH transmissions within an RB set. If the resulting number of consecutive PSFCH communications within an RB set exceeds the UE's capacity, the UE may perform a PSFCH drop to select PSFCH communications for transmission. In some aspects, the UE may use common interlacing to form consecutive PSFCH transmissions within an RB set.

Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The aspects of this disclosure generally relate to wireless communications, and more specifically to techniques and apparatus for physical sidelink feedback channel transmission for discontinuous resource block sets in unauthorized sidelink communications. [Background technology]

[0002] Wireless communication systems are widely deployed to provide a variety of telecommunications services, including telephone communications, video, data, messaging, and broadcasting. Typical wireless communication systems may employ multiple access technologies that enable communication with multiple users by sharing available system resources (e.g., bandwidth or transmit power). Examples of such multiple access technologies include code division multiple access (CDMA) systems, time division multiple access (TDMA) systems, frequency division multiple access (FDMA) systems, orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems, single-carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) systems, time division synchronous code division multiple access (TD-SCDMA) systems, and Long Term Evolution (LTE). LTE / LTE-Advanced is a set of extensions to the Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) mobile standard, published by the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP®).

[0003] The multiple access technologies described above are employed in various telecommunications standards to provide a common protocol that enables different UEs to communicate across cities, nations, regions, or globally. New Radio (NR), sometimes referred to as 5G, is a set of extensions to the LTE mobile standard published by 3GPP®. NR is designed to better support mobile broadband internet access by improving spectral efficiency, lowering costs, enhancing service, utilizing new spectra, using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) with cyclic prefixes (CP) (CP-OFDM) on the downlink, and using CP-OFDM or single-carrier frequency division multiplexing (SC-FDM) (also known as discrete Fourier transform spread OFDM, DFT-s-OFDM) on the uplink, as well as by better integrating with other open standards that support beamforming, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna technology, and carrier aggregation. As the demand for mobile broadband access continues to grow, further improvements in LTE, NR, and other radio access technologies remain useful.

[0004] In unauthorized sidelink communication, user equipment (UE) can communicate with one or more other UEs via a sidelink channel. To facilitate reliability in communication, a feedback channel can be used by the UE to send feedback indicating whether the UE has successfully received and decoded communications from one or more other UEs. Some UEs support the transmission of simultaneous feedback signals across consecutive resource block sets, while others support the transmission of simultaneous feedback signals across discontinuous resource block sets. However, the Disclosure may be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to any specific structure or function presented throughout the Disclosure. Rather, these aspects are provided to make the Disclosure sufficient and complete and to fully convey the scope of the Disclosure to those skilled in the art. Those skilled in the art will understand that the scope of the Disclosure is intended to encompass any aspect of the Disclosure disclosed herein, whether implemented independently of any other aspect of the Disclosure or in combination with any other aspect of the Disclosure. For example, an apparatus may be implemented or a method may be practiced using any number of aspects described herein. In addition, the scope of the Disclosure is intended to encompass any such apparatus or method practiced using other structures, functions, or structures and functions in addition to, or other than, the various aspects of the Disclosure described herein. Any aspect of the Disclosure disclosed herein may be embodied by one or more elements of the claims.

[0022] Next, several embodiments of telecommunications systems are presented with reference to various devices and techniques. These devices and techniques are described in the following detailed description and are shown in the accompanying drawings by various blocks, modules, components, circuits, steps, processes, or algorithms (collectively referred to as “elements”). These elements may be implemented using hardware, software, or a combination of hardware and software. Whether such elements are implemented as hardware or software depends on the specific application and the design constraints imposed on the overall system.

[0023] Hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback may be sent by a user equipment (UE) to indicate whether it has received communication from another device. HARQ feedback may include an acknowledgment (ACK) indicating that the UE successfully received communication from the other device, or a negative acknowledgment (NACK) indicating that the UE did not successfully receive communication from the other device. In sidelink communication, the other device may be another UE, and HARQ feedback may be sent by the UE to the other UE via a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH).

[0024] Interlace is a fundamental unit of resource allocation, such as air interface resource allocation, characterized according to any combination of frequency span (which can be divided into, for example, subbands and / or subcarriers), time span (which can be divided into, for example, time slots and / or subtime spans such as symbols), and / or one or more physical resource blocks (PRBs). Interlace can be, for example, common interlace or dedicated interlace. In some embodiments, resources of common interlace may be accessible to any UE and / or shared by multiple UEs, while resources of dedicated interlace may be accessible to only one UE at a given time. In some embodiments, each PSFCH transmission may occupy a single common interlace and a certain amount (e.g., K3) of dedicated PRBs. The amount of dedicated PRBs may be, for example, one PRB, two PRBs, or five PRBs. In some other embodiments, each PSFCH transmission may occupy a single dedicated interlace.

[0025] A listen-before-talk (LBT) process can be used to coordinate access to a channel. For example, a UE may use the LBT process to minimize collisions and interference between the UE and one or more other UEs communicating on a sidelink channel. In one embodiment, the UE may listen on a sidelink channel to determine whether it is being used for transmission by one or more other UEs. If the UE determines that the channel is clear (e.g., not being used for transmission by another UE), the UE may perform a transmission on the channel. Alternatively, if the UE determines that the channel is busy (e.g., being used for transmission by another UE), the UE may wait for a period of time and perform another LBT process to determine whether the channel is clear or busy.

[0026] In the first embodiment, a UE receiving physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) communication or physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) communication may perform a PSFCH transmit on a candidate PSFCH transmit opportunity if the UE failed to transmit on a previous PSFCH transmit opportunity due to an LBT failure. For example, a UE receiving PSCCH / PSSCH communication may only perform a PSFCH transmit on a candidate PSFCH transmit opportunity if the UE failed to transmit on a previous PSFCH transmit opportunity due to an LBT failure. In the second embodiment, a UE receiving PSCCH / PSSCH communication may perform a PSFCH transmit on all PSFCH transmit opportunities within a channel occupancy time (COT). The COT may indicate a period during which communication between a first UE and a second UE should take place. The first UE, sometimes called the COT-initiating UE, may establish a COT according to the period to be used to communicate with the second UE, sometimes called the responding UE. In one embodiment, the first UE may identify a period according to the amount of data to be transmitted to the second UE, and may establish a COT according to the identified period. The COT may be used, for example, to reserve one or more resources to be used for communication between the first UE and the second UE during the period, and / or, among other examples, to measure one or more characteristics of the channel associated with the COT, such as channel throughput or channel performance.

[0027] In some embodiments, the UE can support PSFCH transmissions via contiguous and discontinuous sets of resource blocks (RBs). The UE may demonstrate the ability to support PSFCH transmissions via contiguous sets of RBs and / or via discontinuous sets of RBs. In some embodiments, each PSFCH transmission may occupy one common interlace and K3 dedicated PRBs. The cyclic shift on each of the K3 dedicated PRBs (one or more) may be the same. In some embodiments, the cyclic shift on each PRB of the common interlace may be determined according to the UE implementation.

[0028] In some embodiments, PSFCH communications can be transmitted over discontinuous RB sets. For example, PSFCH communications associated with different links in different RB sets can be transmitted simultaneously. Support for PSFCH transmission over discontinuous RB sets is subject to UE capabilities. In addition, due to UE capabilities, there may be a limit to the maximum number of PSFCH communications that can be transmitted simultaneously by the UE. In some embodiments, when the number of simultaneous PSFCH communications exceeds UE capabilities, the UE can select which PSFCH communications to transmit by performing a PSFCH selection process (this may be called simultaneous PSFCH transmission in some embodiments). The UE may perform the PSFCH selection process by selecting PSFCH communications based on the information carried by each PSFCH communication, firstly, HARQ-ACKs, secondly, conflict instructions, and / or the priority values of the information carried by each PSFCH communication in ascending order. For example, the PSFCH selection process may be performed by dropping unselected PSFCH communications.

[0029] Since simultaneously transmitted PSFCH communications are associated with different links, PSFCH communications can be associated with discontinuous RB sets. If the number of simultaneous PSFCH communications exceeds the UE's capacity, the UE can select which PSFCH communications to transmit, as described above. The result of PSFCH selection can still be discontinuous, and therefore, a UE that does not support PSFCH transmission over discontinuous RB sets may not be able to transmit one or more of the PSFCH communications.

[0030] Some embodiments of the techniques described herein can facilitate PSFCH transmissions for discontinuous RB sets. In some embodiments, for example, the UE may perform the PSFCH selection process described above to select PSFCH communications (for example, by dropping one or more PSFCH communications). If the remaining PSFCH communications are still located in discontinuous RB sets, the UE may continue dropping PSFCH communications based on one or more rules until the remaining PSFCH communications are associated with a contiguous RB set. In some embodiments, for example, the UE may perform an additional PSFCH selection process. For example, the UE may continue dropping PSFCH communications until a contiguous PSFCH transmission is formed within an RB set.

[0031] In some embodiments, the UE may select PSFCH communications (e.g., by dropping PSFCH communications) based on a weighted priority value for PSFCH communications in each RB set. In some embodiments, this operation may be repeated until consecutive RB sets are achieved for simultaneous transmission of PSFCH communications. For example, in some embodiments, the weighted priority values for PSFCH communications may be average priority, highest priority, and / or lowest priority. In some embodiments, the weighted priority values may be based on the amount of PSFCH communications in each RB set (e.g., RB sets with more PSFCH communications are preferred). In some embodiments, the UE may group RB sets with PSFCH communications into groups containing consecutive RB sets, calculate a weighted priority value for each group, and select the group with the lowest weighted priority value for transmission. In some embodiments, the weighted priority value of a group may be based on the amount of PSFCH communications in the group (e.g., groups of RB sets with more PSFCH communications are preferred).

[0032] In some embodiments, the UE may first perform a PSFCH drop operation to form consecutive PSFCH transmissions within an RB set. If the resulting number of consecutive PSFCH communications within an RB set exceeds the UE's capacity, the UE may perform a PSFCH drop to select the PSFCH communications for transmission. For example, in some embodiments, the UE may group RB sets having PSFCH communications into groups containing consecutive RB sets, calculate a weighted priority value for each group, and select the group with the lowest weighted priority value for transmission. In some embodiments, the UE may determine the COT status of each RB set (e.g., whether each RB set is inside or outside the COT) and group RB sets having PSFCH communications with the same COT status into groups containing consecutive RB sets. The UE may calculate a weighted priority value for each group and select the group with the lowest weighted priority value for transmission. In some embodiments, the UE may perform energy measurements associated with each set of RBs to determine the likelihood of LBT success and may group the RB sets into groups of consecutive RB sets having the same energy level. The UE may calculate a weighted priority value for each group and select the group with the lowest weighted priority value for transmission.

[0033] In some embodiments, the UE may use common interlacing to form consecutive PSFCH transmissions within the RB set.

[0034] Certain aspects of the subject matter described herein may be implemented to achieve one or more of the following potential benefits:

[0035] In some embodiments, by performing an additional PSFCH selection process to drop PSFCH communications until a series of PSFCH transmissions in the RB set are formed, some embodiments can facilitate series of PSFCH transmissions for UEs that do not support discontinuous PSFCH transmissions without introducing new behavior, thereby improving network and / or device performance while minimizing complexity.

[0036] In some embodiments, by selecting PSFCH communications based on weighted priority values, some embodiments may enable a configurable PSFCH communication selection / drop process that can be adapted to favor the selection of various PSFCH communications. In some embodiments, by using weighted priority based on the amount of PSFCH communications within each RB set (for example, so that RB sets with more PSFCH communications are preferred), some embodiments may facilitate increasing the number of PSFCH communications that can be transmitted simultaneously, thereby improving network reliability.

[0037] In some embodiments, by grouping RB sets into groups containing consecutive RB sets and selecting groups based on a weighted priority value for the groups, some embodiments can facilitate a more efficient selection of consecutive RB sets having higher priority (e.g., lower priority value) PSFCH communications, thereby improving network reliability and reducing the likelihood of retransmission of higher priority communications. In some embodiments, by using a weighted priority based on the amount of PSFCH communications within each RB set (e.g., so that RB sets with more PSFCH communications are preferred), some embodiments can facilitate an increase in the number of PSFCH communications that can be transmitted simultaneously, thereby improving network reliability.

[0038] In some embodiments, by first forming a series of PSFCH transmissions within an RB set and then performing PSFCH drops only when the resulting series of RB sets exceeds the UE capacity, some embodiments may facilitate maximizing the amount of PSFCH communication transmitted, thereby improving network reliability. In some embodiments, by selecting PSFCH communication based on COT status and / or energy level, some embodiments may facilitate improving the likelihood of transmitting PSFCH communication over a reliable sidelink channel.

[0039] Figure 1 shows an example of a wireless network. The wireless network 100 may be, or may include, elements of a 5G (e.g., NR) network or a 4G (e.g., Long-Term Evolution (LTE)) network, among other examples. The wireless network 100 may include one or more network nodes 110 (shown as network node (NN) 110a, network node 110b, network node 110c, and network node 110d), a UE 120 or multiple UE 120s (shown as UE120a, UE120b, UE120c, UE120d, and UE120e), or other network entities. A network node 110 is an entity that communicates with a UE 120. As shown in the figure, a network node 110 may include one or more network nodes. For example, network node 110 could be an aggregated network node, meaning that an aggregated network node is configured to utilize a radio protocol stack that is physically or logically integrated within a single RAN node (e.g., within a single device or unit). As another example, network node 110 could be a non-aggregated network node (sometimes called a non-aggregated base station), meaning that network node 110 is configured to utilize a protocol stack that is physically or logically distributed among two or more nodes (such as one or more central units (CUs), one or more distributed units (DUs), or one or more radio units (RUs)).

[0040] In some examples, network node 110 is a network node such as an RU that communicates with UE 120 via a wireless access link, or includes such network nodes. In some examples, network node 110 is a network node such as a DU that communicates with other network nodes 110 via a fronthaul link or a midhaul link, or includes such network nodes. In some examples, network node 110 is a network node such as a CU that communicates with other network nodes 110 via a midhaul link or with the core network via a backhaul link, or includes such network nodes. In some examples, network node 110 (such as an aggregated network node 110 or an unaggregated network node 110) may include multiple network nodes, such as one or more RUs, one or more CUs, or one or more DUs. Network nodes 110 may include, for example, NR network nodes, LTE network nodes, node B, eNB (e.g., in 4G), gNB (e.g., in 5G), access points or transmission / reception points (TRPs), DUs, RUs, CUs, network mobility elements, core network nodes, network elements, network equipment, and / or RAN nodes. In some examples, network nodes 110 may interconnect with each other or with one or more other network nodes 110 within the wireless network 100 using any suitable transport network through various types of fronthaul, midhaul, or backhaul interfaces, such as direct physical connections, air interfaces, or virtual networks.

[0041] Each network node 110 may provide communication coverage to a specific geographic area. In the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP®), the term “cell” may refer to the coverage area of network node 110 or the network node subsystem serving that coverage area, depending on the context in which the term is used.

[0042] Network node 110 may provide communication coverage to macrocells, picocells, femtocells, or other types of cells. Macrocells may cover relatively large geographical areas (e.g., a radius of several kilometers) and may enable unrestricted access by UEs 120 subscribing to the service. Picocells may cover relatively small geographical areas and may enable unrestricted access by UEs 120 subscribing to the service. Femtocells may cover relatively small geographical areas (e.g., a home) and may enable limited access by UEs 120 associated with a femtocell (e.g., UEs 120 within a closed subscriber group (CSG)). Network node 110 for macrocells may be called a macronetwork node. Network node 110 for picocells may be called a piconetwork node. Network node 110 for femtocells may be called a femtonetwork node or home network node.

[0043] In some embodiments, the term “base station” or “network node” may refer to an aggregated base station, a non-aggregated base station, an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node, a relay node, or one or more components thereof. For example, in some embodiments, “base station” or “network node” may refer to a CU, DU, RU, a quasi-real-time (quasi-RT) RAN intelligent controller (RIC), and / or a non-real-time (non-RT) RIC. In some embodiments, the term “base station” or “network node” may refer to a single device configured to perform one or more functions, such as those described herein in relation to network node 110. In some embodiments, the term “base station” or “network node” may refer to multiple devices configured to perform one or more functions. For example, in some distributed systems, each of several different devices (which may be located at the same or different geographical locations) may be configured to perform at least a portion of a function, or to replicate the performance of at least a portion of a function, and the term “base station” or “network node” may refer to any one or more of those different devices. In some embodiments, the terms “base station” or “network node” may refer to one or more virtual base stations or one or more virtual base station functions. For example, in some embodiments, two or more base station functions may be instantiated on a single device. In some embodiments, the terms “base station” or “network node” may refer to one of the base station functions and not another. In this way, a single device may include two or more base stations.

[0044] The network controller 130 may be coupled to or communicate with a set of network nodes 110, and may provide coordination and control over these network nodes 110. The network controller 130 may communicate with the network nodes 110 via a backhaul communication link. The network nodes 110 may communicate with each other directly or indirectly via a wireless or wireline backhaul communication link. In some embodiments, the network controller 130 may be a CU or core network device, or the network controller 130 may include a CU or core network device.

[0045] The wireless network 100 may include one or more relay stations. A relay station is an entity that can receive data transmissions from an upstream station (e.g., a network node 110 or UE 120) and send data transmissions to a downstream station (e.g., a UE 120 or network node 110). A relay station may be a UE 120 that can relay transmissions to other UE 120s. In the embodiment shown in Figure 1, a network node 110d (e.g., a relay network node) may communicate with network nodes 110a (e.g., a macronetwork node) and UE 120d to facilitate communication between them. The network node 110 that relays communications may be called a relay station, relay network node, or relay.

[0046] The UE120 may be distributed throughout the wireless network 100, and each UE120 may be fixed or mobile. The UE120 may include, for example, access terminals, terminals, mobile stations, or subscriber units. UE120 may be a cellular phone (e.g., a smartphone), a personal digital assistant (PDA), a wireless modem, a wireless communication device, a handheld device, a laptop computer, a cordless phone, a wireless local loop (WLL) station, a tablet, a camera, a gaming device, a netbook, a smartbook, an ultrabook, a medical device, a biomedical device, a wearable device (e.g., a smartwatch, smart clothing, smart glasses (e.g., an augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mixed reality, or extended reality (XR) headset), a smart wristband, smart jewelry (e.g., a smart ring or smart bracelet)), an entertainment device (e.g., a music device, a video device, or a satellite radio), a vehicle component or sensor, a smart meter / sensor, industrial manufacturing equipment, a global positioning system device, a UE function of a network node, or any other suitable device configured to communicate via a wireless medium. Some UE120s (e.g., UE120a and UE120e) can communicate directly using one or more sidelink channels (e.g., without network nodes acting as intermediaries for communication with each other).

[0047] Some UE120s may be considered Machine-Type Communication (MTC) UEs, or evolved or enhanced Machine-Type Communication (eMTC) UEs. MTC UEs or eMTC UEs may include, for example, robots, drones, remote devices, sensors, meters, monitors, or location tags that can communicate with network nodes, other devices (e.g., remote devices), or any other entities. Some UE120s may be considered Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices, or implemented as NB-IoT (Narrowband IoT) devices. Some UE120s may be considered customer premises equipment. A UE120 may be contained within a housing that accommodates its components, such as processor components or memory components. In some examples, processor components and memory components may be coupled to each other. For example, processor components (e.g., one or more processors) and memory components (e.g., memory) may be operably coupled, communicatively coupled, electronically coupled, or electrically coupled.

[0048] In some examples, two or more UE120s (e.g., shown as UE120a and UE120e) may communicate directly using one or more sidelink channels (e.g., without using network node 110 as an intermediary for communication with each other). For example, UE120s may communicate using peer-to-peer (P2P) communication, device-to-device (D2D) communication, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) protocols (e.g., vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V), vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I), or vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) protocols, e.g., using the PC5 interface for direct communication), or a mesh network. In such examples, UE120s may perform scheduling operations, resource selection operations, or other operations described elsewhere in this specification as being performed by network node 110. In other embodiments, two or more UE120s may communicate via a vehicle-to-network-vehicle (V2N2V) protocol, for example, by communicating via a Uu interface using LTE and / or NR uplink and downlink.

[0049] In some embodiments, the UE (e.g., UE120) may include a communications manager 140. As described in more detail elsewhere in this specification, the communications manager 140 may monitor at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for multiple sidelink communications and transmit a subset of PSFCH communications from a set of PSFCH communications using a second set of multiple RBs that are consecutive in the frequency domain, the second set of multiple RBs being selected from a first set of multiple RBs corresponding to a set of PSFCH communications, the first set of multiple RBs being selected using a PSFCH selection process.

[0050] In some embodiments, the communications manager 140 may monitor at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for multiple sidelink communications and transmit a subset of PSFCH communications from a set of PSFCH communications using a second set of RBs selected using a group-based selection operation from a first set of RBs corresponding to a set of PSFCH communications associated with multiple sidelink communications.

[0051] In some embodiments, the communications manager 140 may monitor at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for multiple sidelink communications and transmit a set of PSFCH communications associated with multiple sidelink communications in a discontinuous set of multiple RBs, where at least one of the multiple RB sets may omit the PSFCH communications and transmit a set of PSFCH communications, which includes transmitting common interlacing in at least one RB set, and the common interlacing is associated with the set of PSFCH communications. In addition or alternatively, the communications manager 140 may perform one or more other operations described herein.

[0052] Figure 2 shows an exemplary UE120a communicating with a UE120e in a wireless network. UE120a and / or UE120e may correspond to the UE120 in Figure 1. UE120a may be equipped with a set of antennas 202 (indicated as antennas 202a to 202r), such as R antennas (R≧1). The set of antennas 202 may include, or be contained within, one or more antenna panels, one or more antenna groups, one or more sets of antenna elements, or one or more antenna arrays, among other examples. An antenna panel, antenna group, set of antenna elements, or antenna array may include one or more antenna elements (in a single housing or multiple housings), a set of coplanar antenna elements, a set of non-coplanar antenna elements, or one or more antenna elements coupled to one or more transmitting or receiving components, such as one or more components in Figure 2.

[0053] In UE120a, the set of antennas 202 may receive sidelink signals from UE120e and / or other UE120s and provide a set of received signals (e.g., R received signals) to a set of modems 204 (e.g., R modems) designated as modems 204a-204r. For example, each received signal may be provided to a demodulator component of a modem 204 (designated as DEMOD). Each modem 204 may use its respective demodulator component to adjust the received signal (e.g., filter, amplify, downconvert, or digitize) to obtain an input sample. Each modem 204 may use its demodulator component to further process the input sample (e.g., for OFDM) to obtain a received symbol. A MIMO detector 206 may obtain a received symbol from a modem 204, perform MIMO detection on the received symbol where applicable, and provide the detected symbol. The receiving processor 208 may process the detected symbols (e.g., demodulate and decode), provide the decoded data for the UE120a to the data sink 210, and provide the decoded control and system information to the controller / processor 212. The term "controller / processor" may refer to one or more controllers and / or one or more processors. The channel processor may, among other examples, determine the reference signal received power (RSRP) parameter, the received signal strength indicator (RSSI) parameter, the reference signal received quality (RSRQ) parameter, or the channel quality information (CQI) parameter. In some embodiments, one or more components of the UE120a may be contained within the housing 214.

[0054] The transmitting processor 216 may receive and process data from the data source 218 and control information (for reporting, including RSRP, RSSI, RSRQ, or CQI) from the controller / processor 212. The transmitting processor 216 may generate reference symbols for one or more reference signals. The symbols from the transmitting processor 216 may, where applicable, be precoded by the transmit (TX) MIMO processor 220, further processed by the modem 204 (for DFT-s-OFDM or CP-OFDM), and transmitted to the UE120e. In some embodiments, the modem 204 of the UE120a may include a modulator and demodulator. In some embodiments, the UE120a includes a transceiver. The transceiver may include any combination of antennas 202, modem 204, MIMO detector 206, receiving processor 208, transmitting processor 216, or TX MIMO processor 220. The transceiver may be used by a processor (e.g., controller / processor 212) and memory 222 to perform any aspect of the method described herein. In some embodiments, the controller / processor 212 represents one or more processors, and the memory 222 represents one or more memories.

[0055] The controller / processor 212 of the UE120a or any other component(s) in Figure 2 may perform one or more techniques associated with PSFCH transmission for discontinuous PB sets in unauthorized sidelink communications, as described in more detail elsewhere in this specification. For example, the controller / processor 212 of the UE120a or any other component(s) in Figure 2 may perform or direct the operation of, for example, process 800 in Figure 8, process 900 in Figure 9, process 1000 in Figure 10, or other processes as described herein. Memory 222 may store data and program code for the UE120a. In some embodiments, memory 222 may include a non-temporary computer-readable medium for storing one or more instructions (e.g., code or program code) for wireless communications. For example, when one or more instructions are executed by one or more processors of the UE120a (e.g., directly or after being compiled, translated, or interpreted), one or more processors and / or the UE120a may be caused to perform or direct the operation of, for example, process 800 in Figure 8, process 900 in Figure 9, process 1000 in Figure 10, or other processes described herein. In some examples, executing an instruction may include, among other examples, running the instruction, translating the instruction, compiling the instruction, or interpreting the instruction. In some implementations, one or more of the multiple memories may be configured to store processor-executable code that, when executed, can configure one or more processors to perform various functions described herein (as part of the processing system). In some other implementations, the processing system may be pre-configured to perform various functions described herein.

[0056] In some embodiments, individual processors may perform all functions described as being performed by one or more processors. In some embodiments, one or more processors may collectively perform (or be configured or operable to perform) a set of functions. For example, a first set of processors (one or more) among the one or more processors may perform a first function described as being performed by one or more processors, and a second set of processors (one or more) among the one or more processors may perform a second function described as being performed by one or more processors. The first set of processors and the second set of processors may be the same set of processors or different sets of processors. It should be understood that the reference to “one or more processors” refers to any one or more of the processors described in relation to Figure 2. It should be understood that the reference to “one or more memory” refers to any one or more memory in the corresponding device, such as the memory described in relation to Figure 2. For example, a function described as being performed by one or more memory locations may be performed by the same subset of one or more memory locations, or by different subsets of one or more memory locations.

[0057] In some embodiments, the UE (e.g., UE120a) includes means for monitoring at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for a plurality of sidelink communications, and / or means for transmitting a subset of PSFCH communications from a set of PSFCH communications using a second plurality of RB sets that are consecutive in the frequency domain, the second plurality of RB sets being selected from a first plurality of RB sets corresponding to a set of PSFCH communications, the first plurality of RB sets being selected using a PSFCH selection process.

[0058] In some embodiments, the UE includes means for monitoring at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for multiple sidelink communications, and / or means for transmitting a subset of PSFCH communications from a set of PSFCH communications using a second set of RBs selected using a group-based selection operation from a first set of RBs corresponding to a set of PSFCH communications associated with multiple sidelink communications.

[0059] In some embodiments, the UE includes means for monitoring at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for a plurality of sidelink communications, and / or means for transmitting a set of PSFCH communications associated with a plurality of sidelink communications in a plurality of discontinuous RB sets, where at least one of the plurality of RB sets omits PSFCH communications, and transmitting a set of PSFCH communications includes transmitting common interlace in at least one RB set, where common interlace is associated with a set of PSFCH communications. Means by which the UE performs the operations described herein may include, for example, one or more of the following: a communications manager 140, an antenna 202, a modem 204, a MIMO detector 206, a receiving processor 208, a transmitting processor 216, a TX MIMO processor 220, a controller / processor 212, or a memory 222.

[0060] Figure 3 shows one embodiment 300 of sidelink communication.

[0061] As shown in Figure 3, the first UE305-1 may communicate with the second UE305-2 (and one or more other UE305s) via one or more sidelink channels 310. UE305-1 and 305-2 may communicate using one or more sidelink channels 310 for P2P communication, D2D communication, V2X communication (which may include, for example, V2V communication, V2I communication, and / or V2P communication), and / or mesh networking. In some embodiments, the UE305s (e.g., UE305-1 and / or UE305-2) may correspond to one or more other UEs described elsewhere in this specification, such as UE120. In some embodiments, one or more sidelink channels 310 may use the PC5 interface and / or operate in a high-frequency band (e.g., 5.9 GHz band). As an addition or alternative, the UE305 may use global navigation satellite system (GNSS) timing to synchronize the timing of transmission time intervals (TTIs) (e.g., frames, subframes, slots, or symbols).

[0062] As further shown in Figure 3, one or more sidelink channels 310 may include PSCCH315, PSSCH320, and / or PSFCH325. PSCCH315 may be used to communicate control information, similar to the physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and / or physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) used for cellular communication with network node 110 over an access link or access channel. PSSCH320 may be used to communicate data. For example, PSCCH315 may carry sidelink control information (SCI)330, which may represent various control information used for sidelink communication, such as one or more resources (e.g., time resources, frequency resources, and / or spatial resources), and a transport block (TB)335 may be carried on PSSCH320. TB335 may contain data. The PSFCH325 may be used to communicate sidelink feedback 340 such as HARQ feedback (e.g., acknowledgment or negation (ACK / NACK) information), transmit power control (TPC), and / or scheduling requests (SR). For example, UE305-1, which may be a responding UE, may receive HARQ feedback (such as an ACK or NACK) from UE305-1, which may be a COT initiating UE. HARQ feedback may be received via one or more PSFCH transmit opportunities associated with the PSFCH325.

[0063] As shown on PSCCH315, in some embodiments, SCI330 may include multiple communications in different stages, such as a first-stage SCI (SCI-1) and a second-stage SCI (SCI-2). SCI-1 may be transmitted on PSCCH315. SCI-2 may be transmitted on PSSCH320. SCI-1 may include, for example, an indication of one or more resources on PSSCH320 (e.g., time resources, frequency resources, and / or spatial resources), information for decoding sidelink communications on PSSCH, a quality of service (QoS) priority value, a resource reservation period, a PSSCH demodulation reference signal (DMRS) pattern, an SCI format for SCI-2, a beta offset for SCI-2, a PSSCH DMRS port amount, and / or a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). SCI-2 may include information associated with data transmission on the PSSCH320, such as the HARQ process ID, new data indicator (NDI), source identifier, destination identifier, and / or channel state information (CSI) reporting trigger.

[0064] In some embodiments, one or more sidelink channels 310 may use resource pools. For example, a scheduling assignment (e.g., included in SCI330) may be transmitted on a subchannel using a specific RB over time. In some embodiments, a data transmission associated with a scheduling assignment (e.g., on PSSCH320) may occupy an adjacent RB in the same subframe as the scheduling assignment (e.g., using frequency division multiplexing). In some embodiments, neither the scheduling assignment nor the associated data transmission is transmitted on an adjacent RB.

[0065] In some embodiments, the UE305 may operate using a sidelink transmit mode (e.g., Mode 1), in which case resource selection and / or scheduling is performed by the network node 110 (e.g., base station, CU, or DU). For example, the UE305 may receive grants from the network node 110 (e.g., directly or via one or more network nodes) for sidelink channel access and / or scheduling (e.g., for configured grants, in downlink control information (DCI) or in radio resource control (RRC) messages). In some embodiments, the UE305 may operate using a transmit mode (e.g., Mode 2), in which case resource selection and / or scheduling is performed by the UE305 (rather than the network node 110). In some embodiments, the UE305 may perform resource selection and / or scheduling by sensing channel availability for transmission. For example, the UE305 can measure RSSI parameters associated with various sidelink channels (e.g., sidelink-RSSI (S-RSSI) parameters), measure RSRP parameters associated with various sidelink channels (e.g., PSSCH-RSRP parameters), and / or measure RSRQ parameters associated with various sidelink channels (e.g., PSSCH-RSRQ parameters), and can select a channel for transmitting sidelink communications at least in part based on the measurement(s).

[0066] As an addition or alternative, UE305 may perform resource selection and / or scheduling using SCI330 received in PSCCH315, which may indicate occupied resources and / or channel parameters. As an addition or alternative, UE305 may perform resource selection and / or scheduling by determining the channel busy ratio (CBR) associated with various sidelink channels, which may be used for rate control (for example, by indicating the maximum number of resource blocks that UE305 can use for a particular set of subframes).

[0067] In a transmit mode in which resource selection and / or scheduling is performed by UE305, UE305 may generate a sidelink grant and transmit the grant in SCI330. The sidelink grant may indicate one or more resource blocks to be used for the next sidelink transmit on PSSCH320 (e.g., for TB335), one or more subframes to be used for the next sidelink transmit, and / or one or more parameters to be used for the next sidelink transmit (e.g., transmit parameters), such as one or more resource blocks to be used for the next sidelink transmit on PSSCH320, one or more subframes to be used for the next sidelink transmit, and / or an MCS to be used for the next sidelink transmit. In some embodiments, UE305 may generate a sidelink grant indicating one or more parameters for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS), such as the periodicity of sidelink transmits. As an addition or alternative, UE305 may generate a sidelink grant for event-driven scheduling, such as for on-demand sidelink messages.

[0068] Figure 4 shows one embodiment of a PSFCH waveform 400. The PSFCH waveform can be associated with a PSFCH transmission having a 15 kHz subcarrier spacing (SCS) or a 30 kHz SCS. In the first embodiment, each PSFCH transmission may occupy a single common interlace and K3 dedicated PRBs. The value of K3 can be configured (e.g., pre-configured) in the UE. For example, K3 can be equal to 1, 2, or 5, among other examples. The K3 dedicated PRBs may be located on the same interlace. In some embodiments, there may be one or more guard band PRBs between the common PRB and the dedicated PRBs. Multiple cyclic shift (CS) pairs may be used on the K3 dedicated PRBs (e.g., as in the case of a legacy NR sidelink (SL) PSFCH transmission). When a common interlaced PRB and a dedicated PRB are located within the same 1 megahertz (MHz) bandwidth, the UE may transmit only on the dedicated PRB (provided that the occupied channel bandwidth (OCB) requirement is met). In a second embodiment, each PSFCH transmit may occupy a single dedicated interlaced resource. A PSSCH transmit on a non-overlapping resource may be mapped to an orthogonal dedicated PRB for a PSFCH transmit.

[0069] Example 400 is an embodiment of a unified framework between the first embodiment (PSFCH transmission occupies a common interlace 402 and K3 dedicated PRBs) and the second embodiment (PSFCH transmission occupies a single dedicated interlace 404). A configurable number (e.g., K3) of consecutive ACK / NACK carrier PRBs 404 may be transmitted over the non-common interlace 404, and N K3 dummy PSFCH interlace resource blocks (IRBs) may be transmitted over the common interlace 402, where N may be equal to the number of IRBs in one interlace. The PSFCH waveform may be a fully interlaced PSFCH waveform, according to K3 = N. In some embodiments, by configuring two or more ACK / NACK carrier IRBs, the low transmit power problems caused by power spectral density (PSD) limitations and near-far problems can be solved. As shown in Figure 4, a UE may have two ACK / NACK carrier RBs 404. CS ramping offsets 406 of five CS resources may be used to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR). Dummy IRBs 408 within the X RBs of the ACK / NACK carrier IRB may be dropped to keep the ACK / NACK transmit power below the PSD limit. A UE and another PSFCH transmitting UE may transmit over a reserved (R) cyclic resource in a dummy IRB over common interlacing, for example, to satisfy the OCB.

[0070] Figure 5 shows one example 500 of simultaneous PSFCH transmission.

[0071] In some embodiments, the UE can support PSFCH transmissions via consecutive and discontinuous sets of RBs. The UE can demonstrate its ability to support PSFCH transmissions via consecutive sets of RBs and / or via discontinuous sets of RBs. In some embodiments, each PSFCH transmission may occupy one common interlace and K3 dedicated PRBs. The cyclic shift on each of the K3 dedicated PRBs (one or more) may be the same. In some embodiments, the cyclic shift on each PRB of the common interlace can be determined according to the UE implementation.

[0072] In some embodiments, PSFCHs can be transmitted over discontinuous sets of RBs. For example, PSFCH communications associated with different links in different sets of RBs can be transmitted simultaneously. Support for PSFCH transmission over discontinuous sets of RBs is subject to UE capabilities.

[0073] Since simultaneously transmitted PSFCH communications are associated with different links, PSFCH communications may be associated with discontinuous RB sets (shown as “RB set #0”, “RB set #1”, “RB set #2”, and “RB set #3” in Figure 5). If the number of simultaneous PSFCH communications exceeds the UE's capacity, the UE may select the PSFCH communications as described above. As indicated by reference number 505, the result of PSFCH selection may still be discontinuous, and therefore, a UE that does not support PSFCH transmission over discontinuous RB sets may not be able to transmit one or more of the PSFCH communications.

[0074] Several embodiments of the techniques described herein can facilitate PSFCH transmission for discontinuous RB sets. In some embodiments, for example, a UE may perform the PSFCH selection process described above to select PSFCH communications (e.g., by dropping one or more PSFCH communications). If the remaining PSFCH communications are still located in discontinuous RB sets, the UE may continue dropping PSFCH communications based on one or more rules until the remaining PSFCH communications are associated with a contiguous RB set. In some embodiments, the UE may first perform a PSFCH drop operation to form a contiguous PSFCH transmission within an RB set. If the resulting contiguous PSFCH communications (one or more) in an RB set exceed the UE's capacity, the UE may perform PSFCH drops to select PSFCH communications for transmission. In some embodiments, the UE may use common interlacing to form a contiguous PSFCH transmission within an RB set.

[0075] Figures 6A–6C illustrate embodiments 600, 612, and 614 associated with PSFCH transmission for discontinuous resource block sets in unauthorized sidelink communication. As shown, UE602 may communicate with one or more additional UE604a, 604b, 604c, and 604d. UE602 is, is similar to, includes, or may include UE120 and / or 102a shown in Figures 1 and 2.

[0076] As shown in Figure 6A, in the first operation 606, UE602 may monitor at least one sidelink channel. For example, UE602 may monitor at least one sidelink channel associated with an unlicensed spectrum for a set of sidelink communications 608. In the second operation 610, UE602 may transmit a subset of PSFCH communications from a set of PSFCH communications. In some embodiments, UE602 may simultaneously transmit a subset of PSFCH communications using a second set of RBs that are consecutive in the frequency domain. In some embodiments, the second set of RBs is selected from a first set of RBs corresponding to a set of PSFCH communications. In some embodiments, the first set of RBs may be selected using an initial PSFCH selection process. UE602 may perform an initial PSFCH selection process by selecting PSFCH communications based on the information carried by the PSFCH. For example, UE602 may first select a PSFCH communication with HARQ-ACK information from a set of PSFCH communications 612 corresponding to the lowest priority value, and then select a PSFCH communication with conflict information corresponding to the lowest remaining priority value. Thus, UE602 may perform the initial PSFCH selection process by dropping one PSFCH communication at a time (for example, PSFCH communication dropping may be performed at the PSFCH level).

[0077] In some embodiments, a second set of RBs 614 may be selected using an additional PSFCH selection process. In some embodiments, the additional PSFCH selection process may be a continuation of the initial PSFCH selection process (for example, the additional PSFCH selection process may include PSFCH drops performed at the PSFCH level). For example, UE 602 may continue to select PSFCH communications (for example, by dropping unselected PSFCH communications) according to the initial PSFCH selection process described above until a sequence of PSFCH transmissions in the RB set is formed.

[0078] In some embodiments, a second set of multiple RBs may be selected by dropping PSFCH communications at the RB set level. For example, UE602 may drop an entire RB set (and any PSFCH communications within it) based on the selection process. For example, in some embodiments, a second set of multiple RBs may be selected using a set of weighted priority values. Each weighted priority value in the set of weighted priority values corresponds to the weighted priority value Priority of the RB set. weighted Possible. Weighted priority value corresponding to the RB set. weighted This can be associated with a priority value associated with each PSFCH communication in the RB set. For example, in some embodiments, the weighted priority value is Priority weighted =Σ i a i PSFCH i This can be calculated using the following: A second set of RBs may include a first set of RBs having a first weighted priority value from a set of weighted priority values, and a second set of RBs may omit a second set of RBs having a second weighted priority value from a set of weighted priority values, based on the fact that the second weighted priority value is higher than the first weighted priority value.

[0079] In some embodiments, as shown in Figure 6B by Example 612, the weighted priority value may include the average priority value of two or more priority values corresponding to two or more PSFCH communications 616 and 618, respectively, of the set of PSFCH communications 620 associated with the first RB set. For example, the weighted priority value associated with RB set #0 is the average of the priority value associated with PSFCH communication 616 and the priority value associated with PSFCH communication 618. Thus, the weighted priority value associated with RB set #0 is 1.5, which is greater than 1, and RB set #0 may be dropped, leaving only RB set #3 and PSFCH communication 624, as shown by exemplary transmission 622.

[0080] In some embodiments, the weighted priority value may include the highest priority value (and therefore the lowest priority level) among two or more priority values corresponding to two or more PSFCH communications in a set of PSFCH communications 620 associated with the first RB set. Thus, in Example 612, the weighted priority value associated with RB set #0 is 2, which is greater than 1, resulting in the drop of RB set #0 and leaving exemplary transmit 622. In some embodiments, the weighted priority value associated with an RB set may include the lowest priority value (e.g., the highest priority level) among two or more priority values corresponding to two or more PSFCH communications in a set of PSFCH communications 620 associated with the first RB set.

[0081] In some aspects, it may be desirable to retain an RB set that has more PSFCH communications than other RB sets. A function may be used to generate a weighted priority value such that an RB set with more PSFCH communications has a lower priority value (and thus a higher priority level). In some aspects, for example, the weighted priority value associated with an RB set may include a function of two or more priority values respectively corresponding to two or more PSFCH communications among the PSFCH communications in the RB set. For example, the function may include the product of a second weighted priority value (e.g., an average weighted priority value) associated with the first RB set and the amount of PSFCH communications associated with the first RB set. For example, in some aspects, a i =b i c i is. Thus, in Example 612, b1, b2, and b3 respectively corresponding to PSFCH communications 618, 616, and 624 may be equal to 1 / 2, 1 / 2, and 1 respectively (to provide an average priority value across the PSFCH communications in the respective group), and c1, c2, and c3 may be equal to 1 / 2, 1 / 2, and 1 respectively. Therefore, the weighted priority value associated with RB set #0 is 2 * 1 / 2 * 1 / 2+1 * 1 / 2 * 1 / 2=3 / 4=0.75, which is less than 1 (the weighted priority value associated with RB set #3), so RB set #3 may be dropped, resulting in the exemplary transmission 626.

[0082] In some embodiments, a second set of RBs may be selected based on the selection of a first group 628 of consecutive RB sets from the first set of RBs, using a set of weighted priority values. In some embodiments, each weighted priority value in the set of weighted priority values may be associated with each group of consecutive RB sets 628 or 630. The second set of RBs may include the first group 628 of consecutive RB sets and may omit the second group 630 of consecutive RB sets having the second weighted priority value in the set of weighted priority values, based on the fact that the second weighted priority value is higher than the first weighted priority value. In some embodiments, the first weighted priority value may include a function of two or more priority values corresponding to two or more RB sets of the first group 628 of consecutive RB sets, the function may be associated with the amount of PSFCH communication associated with the first group 628 of consecutive RB sets. For example, in some embodiments, a i =b i c i Therefore, for example, as shown in Figure 6C, b1, b2, b3, and b4 corresponding to PSFCH sets 632, 634, 636, and 638, respectively, can be equal to 1, 1 / 3, 1 / 3, and 1 / 3, respectively (to provide an average priority value across PSFCH communications within each group), and c1, c2, and c3 can be equal to 1, 1 / 3, 1 / 3, and 1 / 3, respectively. Thus, the weighted priority value associated with the first group 628 is 4 * 1 / 3 * 1 / 3+2 * 1 / 3 * 1 / 3+1 * 1 / 3 * 1 / 3 is equal to 7 / 9 (approximately 0.78), which is less than 2, and therefore the second group 630 of the RB set may be dropped, resulting in the exemplary transmission 640.

[0083] In some embodiments, a UE may form a series of PSFCH transmissions across a set of RBs, and if the transmission contains more PSFCH communications than the UE can support, the UE may drop one or more of the PSFCH communications until the amount of PSFCH communications is within the UE's capacity.

[0084] Figures 7A to 7C show embodiments 700, 702, and 704 associated with PSFCH transmission for discontinuous resource block sets in unauthorized sidelink communication. Embodiment 700 shows an embodiment associated with signaling of UE602 shown in Figure 6A.

[0085] In some embodiments, a second set of multiple RBs may be selected from a first set of multiple RBs 706 corresponding to a set of PSFCH communications associated with a set of sidelink communications, using a group-based selection operation. For example, a second set of multiple RBs may be selected based on a selection of a first group 708 of consecutive RB sets from the first set of multiple RBs 706, using a set of weighted priority values. Each weighted priority value in the set of weighted priority values may be associated with each group of consecutive RB sets. A second set of multiple RBs may include a first group 708 of consecutive RB sets and, on the basis that the second weighted priority value is higher than the first weighted priority value, may omit a second group 710 of consecutive RB sets having the second weighted priority value in the set of weighted priority values, thereby resulting in an exemplary transmission 712.

[0086] In some embodiments, a first group 708 of consecutive RB sets may include at least two RB sets, each of which is associated with an equivalent COT status. In some embodiments, a first group of consecutive RB sets may include at least two RB sets, each of which is associated with an equivalent energy level. In some embodiments, the equivalent energy levels may include RSSI and / or RSRP. In some embodiments, the indication of an equivalent energy level may be maintained in one or more memories of the UE602 (for example, as specified in a wireless communication standard) and / or provided to the UE602 via an RRC message.

[0087] In some embodiments, a second plurality of RB sets is obtained based on a PSFCH drop operation associated with a third plurality of RB sets 714, the third plurality of RB sets 714 being selected from the first plurality of RB sets using a group-based selection operation. In some embodiments, the second plurality of RB sets may omit at least one RB set from the third plurality of RB sets 714, based on the fact that at least one RB set includes the outermost RB set of the third plurality of RB sets. For example, as shown by embodiment 702 in Figure 7B, UE 602 may drop PSFCH#4 having a priority value of 3, resulting in exemplary communication 716.

[0088] In some embodiments, each RB set of a second plurality of RB sets may include an initial PSFCH communication, the initial PSFCH communication having the lowest priority value of at least one priority value associated with the RB set, and a subset of PSFCH communications omits at least one PSFCH communication from the set of PSFCH communications in relation to at least one PSFCH communication having the highest priority value of at least two priority values associated with one of the second plurality of RB sets. The initial PSFCH communication may be referred to, for example, as a “specific” PSFCH. Each RB set may have a specific PSFCH, which may be a PSFCH communication having the lowest priority value. In some embodiments, specific PSFCH communications are not dropped, but non-specific PSFCH communications may be dropped as described herein. In some embodiments, as further shown in Embodiment 702 of Figure 7B, PSFCH#1, PSFCH#3, and PSFCH#4 may be specific PSFCHs, and UE602 may drop PSFCH#2 (priority value = 4), resulting in exemplary transmission 718. In some embodiments, PSFCH communication may be established as a specific PSFCH for RB sets other than the edges of consecutive RB sets.

[0089] In some embodiments, a subset of PSFCH communications may omit at least one PSFCH communication from a set of PSFCH communications in relation to at least one PSFCH communication having the highest weighted priority value among at least two weighted priority values associated with a second plurality of RB sets. In some embodiments, at least one PSFCH communication has the highest weighted priority value based on the fact that at least one PSFCH communication is associated with the outermost RB set of a third plurality of RB sets 714. For example, in Figure 7B, PSFCH#2 and PSFCH#3 may be preferred, PSFCH#4 may be dropped, resulting in exemplary transmission 716. The third plurality of RB sets may be selected from the first plurality of RB sets using group-based selection operation.

[0090] In some embodiments, as shown by Embodiment 704 in Figure 7C, at least one of a plurality of RB sets may omit PSFCH communication, and the UE602 may transmit common interlacing in at least one RB set (e.g., RB set #1 in Embodiment 704). In some embodiments, transmitting common interlacing in at least one RB set may include transmitting common interlacing in at least one RB set according to configuration information. Configuration information may be maintained in one or more memories of the UE602 (e.g., as a result of a wireless communication standard) and / or provided to the UE602 via RRC messages.
