Self-destructing storage device

Abstract

To provide a storage device with a self-destruct function that ensures that data in the storage device is deleted quickly and reliably. [Solution] The storage device with a self-destruct function comprises an upper housing, a slide button module, a storage module, and a lower housing. An opening is provided above the upper housing. The slide button module includes a partition plate member provided below the upper housing, and the partition plate member is provided with a flexible portion. A slide button member is slidably provided above the partition plate member and protrudes from the opening. The storage module comprises a circuit board, a memory element, a control element, and a switch. The lower housing is provided below the storage module. When the slide button member slides and abuts and presses against the flexible portion, the flexible portion presses the switch, and the control element uses a boost conversion unit to cause insulation breakdown of the memory element.
