[0023] As shown in Figures 1 to 5, a foldable plug charger according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a pair of plugs 120, a housing, a button 101, and a transmission assembly 110. The transmission assembly 110 connects the plugs 120 and the button 101, and when not charging, the plugs 120 are folded into the housing. When charging is required, pressing the button 101 causes the transmission assembly 110 to convert the moving motion generated by the pressing action into rotational motion, which is output to the plugs 120, making the plugs 120 rotatable relative to the housing body and protruding from the opening of the housing, thereby switching from a folded state to an upright state for use in charging. The transmission assembly 110 is offset within the housing, and provided that the dimensions of safety standards are met, the rotation axis of the plugs can be brought close to the top edge of the housing, and even after the plugs 120 rotate around the transmission assembly 110, they remain upright in a position close to the top edge of the housing. After the plug 120 is inserted into the charging jack, the charger occupies a smaller space on the jack panel, avoiding interference issues between chargers when multiple chargers are charging simultaneously. Compared to conventional foldable plug chargers, it is easier to use and improves the utilization rate of the charging jack panel. In addition, when folded, the plug 120 is completely hidden within the housing, and the outer end of the plug 120 is not exposed and could snag other items.
[0024] When the plug is in an upright position, the distance from the plug to the top edge of the housing is 6 millimeters or more, which conforms to the dimensions of safety standards.
[0025] In order for the transmission assembly 110 to output rotation to the plug 120, in one embodiment, as shown in Figures 3 to 5, the transmission assembly 110 includes a guide sleeve 111, a central shaft 114, and a transmission sleeve 112. A button 101 is connected to the guide sleeve 111. The guide sleeve 111 includes two transmission feet 1111, and the transmission sleeve 112 includes two first transmission inclined surfaces 1122 arranged in opposite directions, with the two transmission feet 1111 each contacting the two first transmission inclined surfaces 1122. The first end of the central shaft 114 is connected to the transmission sleeve 112 and one of its plugs 120, and the second end of the central shaft 114 is connected to the other plug 120. When the push button 101 is pressed, the guide sleeve 111 moves toward the transmission sleeve 112. With the support of elastic contact force, the guide sleeve 111 and the transmission sleeve 112 move, and at the same time, the force with which the two transmission feet 1111 of the guide sleeve 111 contact the first transmission slope 1122 of the transmission sleeve 112 increases, creating a rotational torque on the two first transmission slopes 1122 which are arranged in opposite directions, promoting the rotation of the transmission sleeve 112 and achieving the effect of converting the moving motion generated by the pressing action into rotational motion. When the transmission sleeve 112 rotates, the central shaft 114 also rotates in sync, and the first and second ends of the central shaft 114 drive the two plugs 120 to rotate, causing the plugs 120 to rotate relative to the housing and protrude from the opening of the housing, achieving an upright position.
[0026] Based on the previous embodiment, the structure is made more compact to facilitate connection of the central shaft 114, the transmission sleeve 112, and the plug 120. In this embodiment, the transmission assembly 110 further includes a rotating sleeve 113. The rotating sleeve 113 is provided between the guide sleeve 111 and the transmission sleeve 112, and two transmission feet 1111 are provided through the rotating sleeve 113, each abutting against two first transmission inclined surfaces 1122 of the transmission sleeve 112. The rotating sleeve 113 is provided to rotate in sync with the transmission sleeve 112 and is fixedly connected to the first end of the central shaft 114, and the outer ring of the rotating sleeve 113 is connected to one of the plugs 120. When the transmission sleeve 112 rotates, the rotating sleeve 113 and the central shaft 114 also rotate in sync. The outer ring of the rotating sleeve 113 is connected to one plug 120, and the second end of the central shaft 114 is connected to the other plug 120. When the rotating sleeve 113 and the central shaft 114 rotate, they drive the two plugs 120 to rotate, causing the plugs 120 to rotate relative to the housing, protrude from the opening in the housing, and achieve an upright position.
[0027] Specifically, as shown in Figures 4 and 5, in one embodiment, the first end of the central shaft 114 is fixedly connected to the rotating sleeve 113 by a pin 1141, allowing the two to rotate synchronously. The outer ring of the rotating sleeve 113 is tightly connected to one plug 120, and the second end of the central shaft 114 is provided to rotate synchronously with the other plug 120, thereby enabling the rotating sleeve 113 and the second end of the central shaft 114 to transmit torque through the two plugs 120, thereby achieving rotation of both plugs 120.
[0028] To clarify the structure of the guide sleeve 111 and the transmission sleeve 112, specific guide sleeves 111 and transmission sleeves 112 are provided below, as shown in Figures 4 and 5. In one embodiment, the guide sleeve 111 has two transmission feet 1111 each provided with abutment surfaces 1112, the two abutment surfaces 1112 each abutting against two first transmission slopes 1122, and the transmission sleeve 112 further includes two first bumps 1121, the two first transmission slopes 1122 each provided on two first bumps 1121.
[0029] In one embodiment, as shown in Figures 4 to 7, the rotating sleeve 113 includes at least two second bumps 1131, and if there are two second bumps 1131, each of the two second bumps 1131 is provided with a second transmission slope 1133, the second transmission slope 1133 contacting a first transmission slope 1122, and when the transmission feet 1111 are driven to rotate the transmission sleeve 112, the first transmission slope 1122 of the transmission sleeve 112 contacts the second transmission slope 1133 of the rotating sleeve 113 to form a rotational torque, thereby causing the rotating sleeve 113 and the transmission sleeve 112 to rotate synchronously. The widths of the second transmission inclined surface 1133 and the contact surface 1112 are both narrower than the width of the first transmission inclined surface 1122. As a result, the first transmission inclined surface 1122 can contact the second transmission inclined surface 1133 and the contact surface 1112 simultaneously. Therefore, when the guide sleeve 111 is driven to rotate the transmission sleeve 112, the transmission sleeve 112 can be driven to rotate the rotating sleeve 113 in synchronous motion.
[0030] Specifically, in the folded state, there are contact points at the abutment points between the two transmission feet 111 and the two first transmission slopes 1122, and the connecting wires of the two contact points are provided at a 45° angle to the inner wall of the top of the housing, so that the stroke of the transmission feet on the first transmission slopes rotates the transmission sleeve by 90°, ensuring that the plug stands upright after rotation.
[0031] Preferably, as shown in Figures 4 to 7, in the embodiment of the present application, there are four second bumps 1131 and two first bumps 1121, with gaps provided between adjacent sides of two first bumps 1121, and one gap provided for every two second bumps 1131, completing a uniform assembly of the four second bumps 1131 and two first bumps 1121. The first bumps 1121 are provided with second transmission slopes 1133 that can contact the second bumps and similarly serve to transmit torque.
[0032] To enable the first ends of both the transmission feet 1111 and the central shaft 114 of the guide sleeve 111 to pass through the rotating sleeve 113, in one embodiment, as shown in Figures 4, 5, and 7, the rotating sleeve 113 further includes two position limiting plates 1132, the two position limiting plates are arranged opposite each other and connected to the inner wall of the body of the rotating sleeve 113, the first end of the central shaft 114 is provided passing through between the two position limiting plates 1132, a gap is provided between the adjacent side walls of the two position limiting plates 1132, the transmission feet 1111 of the guide sleeve 111 are provided in the gap, and the first ends of both the transmission feet 1111 and the central shaft 114 are connected to the rotating sleeve 113 simultaneously.
[0033] To clarify the structure of the central shaft 114, one specific central shaft is provided below, and as shown in Figure 4, in one embodiment thereof, at least one first planar portion 1142 is provided at the second end of the central shaft 114, a rotating portion 121 is provided at the base of the plug 120, and a second planar portion is provided on the hole wall of the rotating portion 121 that abuts against the first planar portion 1142, and torque is transmitted between the second end of the central shaft 114 and the rotating portion 121 of the plug 120 by the first planar portion 1142 and the second planar portion, so that the plug 120 connected to the second end of the central shaft 114 rotates in sync with the plug 120 connected to the rotating sleeve 113, thereby achieving an upright position.
[0034] To facilitate the folding of the plug 120 and to reset the transmission assembly 110, in one embodiment, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the transmission assembly 110 further includes an elastic member 115, a locking spring 116, and an outer sleeve 117. The elastic member 115 is fitted onto the central shaft 114 and abuts between the transmission sleeve 112 and the second end of the central shaft 114. A locking hole 1171 is formed in the outer sleeve 117, and a projection (not shown) is provided on the inner wall of the housing, the projection abutting the locking hole 1171. The locking spring 116 is fitted onto the second end of the central shaft 114, and the outer sleeve 117 is fitted onto the transmission sleeve 112 and the elastic member 115, and is configured to rotate synchronously with the central shaft 114 and the transmission sleeve 112 by the locking spring 116. When charging, after the plug 120 is converted to an upright position, a projection on the housing body enters the locking hole 1171 of the outer sleeve, thereby restricting the position of the outer sleeve 117 and the transmission sleeve 112, and preventing the plug 120 from folding due to the rotation of the transmission sleeve 112. When charging is complete and the plug 120 changes from an upright position to a folded position, force is applied to the outer end of the plug 120 to move it, causing the projection to exit the locking hole 1171. At this time, the compressed elastic member 115 recoils, resetting the transmission sleeve 112, the rotating sleeve 113, the central shaft 114, and the guide sleeve 111.
[0035] Preferably, the surface of the projection is arc-shaped and can easily slide in and out of the locking hole 1171.
[0036] Preferably, as shown in Figure 4, the outer sleeve is provided with a square hole or a nearly square hole, and the outer wall of the transmission sleeve has a shape that fits the square hole, so that the two can rotate synchronously.
[0037] Preferably, the locking hole 1171 is a rectangular, circular, or elliptical hole.
[0038] To achieve electrical conductivity in the foldable plug charger, as shown in Figure 3, in one embodiment, the foldable plug charger further includes a support 130 that is detachably connected to a housing, and a conductive sheet 140 connected to the support 130, wherein a contact portion 122 that abuts against the conductive sheet 140 is provided at the connection point between the plug 120 and the rotating sleeve 113, and a transmission assembly 110 is provided between the support 130 and the inner wall of the housing, and the support 130 mounts the transmission assembly 110 and the plug 120 inside the housing, and the contact portion 122 contacts the conductive sheet 140 to achieve electrical conductivity. Preferably, the support and the housing are connected by screws.
[0039] Furthermore, as shown in Figure 3, the conductive sheet 140 is provided with an arc-shaped structure, which contacts the contact portion 122. When the plug 120 rotates to an upright position, the contact portion of the plug 120 maintains contact with the arc-shaped structure, thereby ensuring electrical conductivity.
[0040] Preferably, as shown in Figures 1 to 3, in one embodiment the housing includes a housing body 100, a lid 200, and a decorative plate 300 connected to each other, and the opening is provided in the lid 200.
[0041] In the above-described foldable plug charger, the plug 120 and button 101 are connected by a transmission assembly 110. When not charging, the plug 120 is folded into the housing. When charging is required, pressing the button 101 causes the transmission assembly 110 to convert the moving motion generated by the pressing action into rotational motion, which is output to the plug 120. This allows the plug 120 to rotate relative to the housing body and protrude from the opening in the housing, switching from a folded state to an upright state for use in charging. The transmission assembly 110 is offset within the housing, and, assuming it meets safety standard dimensions, the rotation axis of the plug can be positioned close to the top edge of the housing. Even after the plug 120 rotates around the transmission assembly 110, it remains upright in a position close to the top edge of the housing. After the plug 120 is inserted into the charging jack, the charger occupies a smaller space on the jack panel, avoiding interference problems between chargers when multiple chargers are charging simultaneously. Compared to conventional foldable plug chargers, it is easier to use and improves the utilization rate of the charging jack panel. In addition, when folded, the plug 120 is completely hidden inside the housing, and the outer end of the plug 120 is not exposed and does not snag on other items.
[0042] The technical features of the above embodiments can be combined in any way, and for the sake of brevity, not all possible combinations of the technical features in the above embodiments are described. However, as long as there is no contradiction in these combinations of technical features, they should all be considered to fall within the scope described herein.
[0043] The above embodiments merely illustrate some embodiments of the present application, and although the descriptions are specific and detailed, they should not be understood as limiting the scope of the utility model registration claims of this application. Furthermore, a person skilled in the art could make several modifications and improvements without departing from the concept of this application, and all of these fall within the scope of protection of this application.
