Abstract

To provide a radio communication system that, when image data to be displayed is image data not requiring encryption, allows even a display not designed for encryption to display an image based on the image data.SOLUTION: A radio communication system is a radio communication system including a radio transmission device connected with an information processing apparatus and a radio reception device connected with a display. The radio transmission device has a notification unit that, when the radio transmission device is connected to the information processing apparatus, notifies the information processing apparatus of the fact that the radio transmission device is not designed for encryption, and a transmission unit that determines whether image data output from the information processing apparatus is encrypted based on the notification from the notification unit, and based on a result of determination, transmits unencrypted image data to the radio reception device.
