Abstract

To provide a motor drive device capable of suppressing power consumption.SOLUTION: The motor drive device includes, in a stator coil 13, a heater integrated fuse 31 including a fuse element 32 placed at the neutral point of the stator coil 13 and a heater unit 33 generating heat to disconnect the fuse element 32. A microcomputer 20 outputs a heater energization command signal to supply power to the heater unit 33 when a short-circuit failure of an inverter 22 is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
