Abstract

To provide an image processing apparatus which can detect a face image of a person accurately at a low cost and a technology relating thereto.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a control unit which detects a face image in a visible image 210 including a person. The control unit detects skeleton information of a person U1 on the basis of the visible image 210, and detects a face image E1 corresponding to the skeleton information, the face image E1 being detected on the basis of the visible image 210, as a face image of the person U1. A face image F1 which does not have corresponding skeleton information is not detected as the face image of the person U1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
