Abstract

This catalyst comprises: at least one element X selected from the group consisting of groups 3-6 of the periodic table; and at least one element Z selected from the group consisting of group 14 elements, wherein in an X-ray diffraction profile using X-ray diffraction, at least one diffraction peak is observed in a low-angle range of at most θ=6°, and the ratio (I / H) of the peak intensity I of the at least one diffraction peak to the half-value half-width H of the diffraction peak is at least 5000.
