Abstract

To provide an information processing program capable of accurately estimating, from an image, information on an underwater object.SOLUTION: This information processing program causes a computer to execute: an acquisition procedure for acquiring reference information and a target image, wherein the reference information is indicative of a relationship between a reference luminance value, which is a luminance value of an object region that is in a reference image including an underwater reference object irradiated with light of a light source and having been captured by an underwater image capture device and that is occupied by the reference object, and a reference distance, which is a distance from the image capture device to the reference object, the target image includes an underwater target object irradiated with light from the light source and having been captured by the underwater image capture device; and an estimation procedure for estimating a target distance, which is the distance from the image capture device to the target object, on the basis of a comparison between the reference information and a target luminance value, which is a luminance value of a target object region that is in the target image and that is occupied by the target object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
