Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic material that can be used as a foundation, makeup base, sunscreen, lipstick, nail polish, face powder, etc. Background technology
[0002] In recent years, the demand for cosmetics has become ever more diverse, and in response to this, the product forms have also become more diverse, not only in terms of item composition such as foundation, sunscreen, lipstick, nail polish, and face powder, but also by further subdividing these, the form elements have been added such as liquid, powder, solid, emulsion, etc.
[0003] Many of these cosmetics require pigments or metal oxide sunscreen powders, but improving the dispersibility of these powders in a wide variety of cosmetic forms is an issue. To address this issue, techniques for improving the dispersibility of powders by using surface-treated powders or lipophilic surfactants are known.
[0004] In JP2013-139400A, JP2004-182729A, JP2015-124220A, and JP2016-210744A, surface-treated powders using various surface treatment agents are discussed in order to improve the dispersibility of the powder and adjust the feel.
[0005] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 3-264510, 2003-012466, 2003-146833, and 2003-226631 discuss improving the dispersibility of powders by using alkyl-modified trisiloxanes, including 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-dodecyltrisiloxane, as lipophilic surfactants. Summary of the Invention
[0006] The present invention relates to a cosmetic preparation which has excellent dispersibility of metal oxide fine particles, is easy to incorporate, and has excellent stability over time.
[0007] In the above-mentioned conventional techniques, the improvement of dispersibility of powder as a cosmetic ingredient could not be achieved by using a surface-treated powder or a lipophilic surfactant. Excluding 3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-alkyl (C10-14) trisiloxane and the above 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-alkyl (C10-14) trisiloxane By using silicone oil with a number average molecular weight of 400 or more and less than 30,000, The present inventors have found that the effect of improving the dispersibility of metal oxide fine particles can be improved by using the above-mentioned method, and have thus completed the present invention.
[0008] That is, the present invention is a cosmetic preparation containing the following components (A), (B), and (C). (A) one or more selected from 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-alkyl(C10-14)trisiloxane (B) Metal oxide fine particles (C) Silicone oil with a number average molecular weight of 400 or more and less than 30,000 (excluding component (A))
[0009] In the cosmetic of the present invention, the dispersibility of the (B) component is improved by the combined use of the (A) component and the (C) component, so that the cosmetic has excellent stability over time and the separation of the contained components is suppressed. Furthermore, the improved dispersibility of the (B) component also enhances the ultraviolet protection effect, which is one of the effects of containing the (B) component, which is preferable.
[0010] In addition, since the cosmetic preparation of the present invention has improved dispersibility of component (B), the UV protection effect can be adjusted by adjusting the content of component (B). Furthermore, by adjusting the contents of components (A) and (C) according to the content of component (B), the cosmetic preparation of the present invention can be given a smooth and spreadable feel during use and a beautiful appearance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0011] Component (A) may be one or more selected from 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-alkyl(C10-14)trisiloxanes, and component (A) may be in an oil form at room temperature.
[0012] It is believed that component (A) is a component that acts to increase the dispersibility of component (B) in the cosmetic composition when used in combination with component (C).
[0013] Non-limiting examples of component (A) include (A-1) 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-decyltrisiloxane, (A-2) 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-dodecyltrisiloxane, and (A-3) 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-heptamethyl-3-tetradecyltrisiloxane.
[0014] The above-mentioned components (A-1), (A-2) and (A-3) can each be used alone as component (A). When component (A) is used as the sole component, it is preferable to use component (A-2).
[0015] The component (A) that can be used is a mixture of the components (A-1) and (A-2), a mixture of the components (A-1) and (A-3), a mixture of the components (A-2) and (A-3), or a mixture of the components (A-1), (A-2), and (A-3).
[0016] When component (A) is used as a mixture of components (A-1) and (A-2) or components (A-2) and (A-3), the content of component (A-2) in 100% by mass of the mixture is preferably 50% by mass or more, more preferably 60% by mass or more, and even more preferably 70% by mass or more.
[0017] When the component (A) is used as a mixture of the components (A-1) and (A-3), the amount of the component (A-1) is preferably 20 to 80 mass%, more preferably 30 to 70 mass%, and even more preferably 40 to 60 mass% of the total amount of the components (A-1) and (A-3) (100 mass%). In this case, the amount of the component (A-3) is preferably 80 to 20 mass%, more preferably 70 to 30 mass%, and even more preferably 60 to 40 mass% of the total amount of the components (A-1) and (A-3) (100 mass%).

[0020] The shape of the metal oxide fine particles of component (B) is not particularly limited and may be, for example, spherical, plate-like, regular or irregular. The metal oxide fine particles of component (B) may also be treated to be hydrophilic or hydrophobic.
[0021] The metal oxide fine particles of component (B) can be used without any particular limitation as long as they are used in ordinary cosmetics containing metal oxide fine particles. The particle size of the metal oxide fine particles of component (B) may be, for example, an average particle size of 10 μm or less, as measured by a laser diffraction / scattering method. The lower limit of the average particle size of the metal oxide fine particles of component (B) is not particularly limited, but may usually be about 0.1 μm.
[0022] The metal oxide fine particles of component (B) may be a component that functions to impart an ultraviolet protection effect. When the component has the function of imparting an ultraviolet protection effect, the level of the ultraviolet protection effect (for example, the ultraviolet protection level evaluated by the SPF value) can be adjusted by adjusting (increasing or decreasing) the content of component (B) in the cosmetic.
[0023] As the fine particle iron oxide, pigments such as, but not limited to, red iron oxide, ochre, magnetite or a combination thereof may be used. In addition, these pigments may be surface-treated to be hydrophobic.

When the molecular weight is below 1000, gas chromatography may be used.
[0034] Silicone oils with a number average molecular weight of less than 400 tend to be relatively volatile, and may evaporate during use, reducing powder dispersibility. Also, silicone oils with a number average molecular weight of 30,000 or more have high viscosity, which may reduce the dispersibility of each powder. Therefore, the component (C) is a silicone oil having a number average molecular weight of 400 or more and less than 30,000. In terms of good dispersibility of powder, the component (C) is preferably a silicone oil having a number average molecular weight of 400 or more and less than 25,000. [0039] From the viewpoint of improving the dispersibility of the metal oxide fine particles of component (B) together with component (A), it is preferable that component (C) has a surface tension of 30 mN / m or less. The surface tension of component (C) is preferably 30 mN / m or less, particularly preferably 25 mN / m or less, as measured, for example, by the plate method (Wilhelmy method) or the ring method (Dunouy method).
[0040] More preferred examples of the silicone oil of component (C) include polydimethylsiloxane, polydimethylsiloxane-polydiphenylsiloxane copolymer, polymethyltrimethylsilylsiloxane-polydiphenylsiloxane copolymer, trimethylsilyl-terminated mono- or polytrimethylsilylphenylsiloxane, polyether-modified oil, and combinations of these.
[0041] Non-limiting examples of polyether modified oils include polyoxyethylene modified silicone oils, polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene modified silicone oils, polyoxypropylene modified silicone oils, or combinations thereof.
[0042] From the viewpoint of improving the dispersibility of the component (B) in the cosmetic preparation, the mass ratio of the content of the component (A) to the content of the component (C) ((A) / (C)) is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 5, more preferably in the range of 0.15 to 3, and even more preferably in the range of 0.15 to 2.
[0043] The cosmetic preparation of the present invention preferably contains the components (A), (B), and (C) in a total amount of 3 to 85 mass%, more preferably 5 to 80 mass%, and even more preferably 20 to 70 mass%.
[0044] The cosmetic preparation of the present invention improves the dispersibility of component (B) by using component (A) and component (C) in combination, and therefore the contents of component (A) and component (C) can be adjusted using the content of component (B) as a reference value.
[0045] The contents of components (A) and (C) based on component (B) can vary depending on multiple factors such as the desired physical and chemical properties of the cosmetic, the type of cosmetic (e.g., skin cosmetic), etc. For example, when the content of component (B) is 100 parts by mass, the content of component (A) is preferably 20 to 800 parts by mass, more preferably 20 to 700 parts by mass, and even more preferably 20 to 600 parts by mass.
