Abstract

To provide a dishwasher equipped with a washing tank 2, a washing nozzle 24 disposed in the washing tank 2, and a washing pump 3 for supplying washing water in the washing tank 2 to the washing nozzle 24 with a function to wash objects W to be washed stored in the washing tank 2, which includes a foam detection electrode 6 for detecting foam by coming into contact with the foam generated caused by a detergent contained in the washing water, the corrosion resistance of the foam detection electrode 6 being secured even if the foam detection electrode is not formed of a material with high corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: A blower duct 4 for guiding air sent from a blower fan 5 is provided at an air inlet 27 opened in the lower part of a washing tank 2. A foam detection electrode 6 is provided positioned above the air inlet 27 in the blower duct 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
